- Some of the souls wake up in their new bodies in comedically undignified ways:
- The first thing Ian does after waking up is fall face first out of bed.
- Ryo accidentally hits his new horns on the bar above his bed.
- Yuki and Lloyd pull something of a Boke and Tsukkomi Routine after fighting the Hell Puppies, complete with a Dope Slap from Yuki.
- "Ryo looked at Felix as if he were the sun. That is to say, he squinted at him with a look of confusion and bewilderment."
- Maria the Pink Cat Maid's official weapons are mops and brooms, but her initial 'maid skill' was zero. Even though Maria's maid skill has since been raised to 1, it still is funny to think the maid who can use a broom as a weapon couldn't originally use it to successfully clean.
- This particularly Seinfeldian Conversation between Felix and Ryo/Rosa on their way to introduce themselves to the newly-awakened Gracieuse:
Ryo/Rosa: I wouldn't be surprised if we have enough [magical girls] to form a baseball team[…]
Felix: Baseball? That's the one where they run around in shorts and try throwing the ball through that circle, and then sacrifice the winning team to their gods, right?
Ryo/Rosa; That's basketball...almost. They phased out the whole human sacrifice thing a few centuries ago. I'm talking about where you hit the ball with the stick and you run— ANYWAY! This got quite a bit off topic, let's go see our sleeping beauty, shall we?
Heartwarming
- Maria checking to see if Angel's lackey Cee was alright after she fell from the rope climb in gym. Cee is somewhat puzzled about receiving this level of compassion from an enemy, but she seems to appreciate the gesture.
- Ian/Daisy comforting Maria in her sleep after her nightmare about Angel. Maria even starts purring after hearing their voice, which causes Daisy to start nearly dozing off as well. Even the GM thought it was adorable!
Nightmare Fuel
- Maria's first time fighting as Pink Cat Maid does not go well. When the group is ambushed by a ninja hiding in the vents, she attempts to knock him out with a punch. Instead, she accidentally ends up caving the man's skull in! And since he was an ordinary human, he doesn't explode into glitter like the monsters they fought before, his lifeless body just stays there. This, understandably, leaves poor Maria traumatized.
Tearjerker
- The aftermath of Pink Cat Maid accidentally killing the ninja. Maria is crying Tears of Remorse for what she did while Dreamblader pays her respects to their fallen enemy. Everyone else is in varying levels of shock as they try to figure out what to do next.
- The near-death of Chef Elliot. As he's bleeding out in his husband's arms, he starts reciting Jack's quote about repeating history before passing out with a smile. Luckily he was stabilized at just the right time before being taken to the hospital, but if the magical girls had failed, it probably would have stuck with them forever.
- Maria's nightmare after fainting from being yelled at. She sees the lifeless, broken bodies of her comrades strewn before her. She realizes she had been turned into an ordinary cat as she's dragged away from them by a giant Angel. This causes Maria to start tearing up and repeating "I'm sorry, I'm sorry.." in her sleep in the real world. Poor girl...

- Crosses the Line Twice: Maria accidentally killing a man by caving in his face? Horrific and traumatizing. The fact that she did so while wearing oversized cosplay cat paws a la Dejiko? Hilarious.
