Waffles and Mochi (stylized as Waffles + Mochi) is a Netflix original puppet show produced and staring former First Lady Michelle Obama.The show focuses around the two title characters, Waffles, a hybrid of a frozen waffle and a yeti, and Mochi an unintelligible living ball of Mochi as they try to achieve their dreams of becoming chefs. Both of them hail from the “land of frozen food” a place where everything is made of ice, because of this both of them aren't too familiar with fresh food or vegetables. Eventually in the first episode they move away and are hired to work in a grocery store owned by Obama.Every episode starts with Waffles and Mochi being introduced to a new food. After this they spend the rest of the episode traveling on magikart, a robotic shopping kart, learning about how the food is made, and making dishes that include the food as an ingredient.Other characters include Busy a bee who is often seen with Obama and the various puppets in the grocery store.3, 2, Yum!
