  • Gwennifer: Barrier**
The barrier takes the form of an ice palace with plenty of reflective surfaces, shards of glass on the floor, and cracked walls and floors. Watch your step lest you cut yourself or fall through AND cut yourself. Each room is equal parts glimmering and deadly, with mirrors, whole and shards, scattered all over, and some of them actually being ice. Runic messages include "shattered", "fragile", "delicate", and "ease my pain".

When they attack with it, it will shatter and deal 2.5x damage.)Protector (Passive: Unit cannot go below 25% HP unless at or below 25% HP already. Tate will be KO'd instead when that happens. Use by default.)Aegis Trap (Tate conjures an orange barrier of energy around one foe and shrinks it, crushing them into oblivion, or it breaking once they're on the verge of it if they're not supposed to die in the story. Only usable if Tate is in Protecti Amber Form and Kagami is KO'd or under a mental status ailment.)Cylinder Glass Kebab (Only usable if Tate is in Protecti Amber Form. Tate traps a foe in a cylinder energy barrier, with one of its holes pointed at Kagami, who charges her Great Glass Javelin and hurls it at the hapless victim.)

  • Indus: Minions of Protection**
These are Gwennifer's familiars, always ready to protect their mistress and their fellow familiars with their barriers. They're such a pain to power through, but thankfully they're not actually nullifying our damage.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

  • Seramen: Minions of Shattering**
These are Gwennifer's familiars, and the shards they make out of the nearby mirrors and barriers from the Indus that protect them are such a bother! Thankfully, this also makes them vulnerable if the Indus loses their barrier.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

  • Gwennifer: Witch of Shattered Glass**
This is the witch form of Kagami Spiegel. We actually had to think things through very seriously to have a chance at beating her. I cannot afford to be complacent at the slightest anymore.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

  • Kagami Spiegel: Puella Magi of Shattered Glass**
Another Puella Magi I saved. Her life may have been hell, both as civilian and as Puella Magi, but perhaps she can make a new life for herself here with us.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

  • Tate Chiba: Stalwart Protector**
Our first non-powered ally to the cause, being part of a package deal. Treybey revived him after Kagami requested it as a condition for joining us (she would just stay in Purity City otherwise). His death back then had been the catalyst to Kagami witching out.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

Name: Kagami SpiegelWitch: Gwennifer, Witch of Shattered GlassWeapon: Conjured "icicles" of glass, or spearUnique Magic: HyalokinesisAppearance: Kagami is a short-ish late teenager with long messy deep blue hair, pale skin, and periwinkle eyes. For civilian wear, she sports a khaki-colored sweater vest, a white collared shirt beneath it with long sleeves, indigo jeans, black socks, and loafers. For her Puella Magi getup, her dress is light blue with a glass motif. Notable aspects include not-actually-glass slippers, a tiara, an indigo bowtie, and her skirt being A-line.Her Witch Gwennifer resembles a large werewolf with the facial features of an Arctic fox, icy blue fur, light armor made of crystal, and able to conjure spears of glass.Personality: Reclusive, reliant on Tate, unwilling to take risks without a "safety net".Backstory: Kagami comes from a foreigner family, but was living alone at a dormitory with Tate Chiba, who had been appointed by her parents to keep her safe due to her low durability. Because of the rising number of Witches, Kyubey approached her one day to recruit her. What she wished for is unknown, but she had eventually contracted and became a Puella Magi. She told Tate about this right away, and he swore to help in any way he can, for it was discovered that while being a Puella Magi supposedly made her more durable, her tolerance for pain hasn't changed, and that means going it alone was out of the question. Kyubey said he won't begrudge them if they knew the risks. And so they started out with fighting practice against stray Familiars, had a run-in with a Puella Magi group that teased her for relying on a non-Puella Magi, and vanquished one Witch together. Their second Witch Hunt wasn't as lucky and Tate ended up critically injured. He was then killed by Saiko Kira, who then crippled Kagami so she would Witch Out, but ended up biting off more than she could chew, and died to Gwennifer as a result. She would later be rescued by Seinaru, and Tate reunited with her thanks to the Purificators.

Name: Tate ChibaWeapon: Sword and Petal-Spike ShieldAppearance: Tate is a tall man who has blond hair, tanned skin, a well-toned body, and deep blue eyes. For casual wear post-resurrection, he wears an orange basketball uniform with white stripes. In combat, he wears a full suit of knight's armor, and his shield is a peculiar sort, adorned with an array of cherry blossom petals at the face, pointed in a way as if they were spikes.Personality: Loyal to Kagami, a bit scatterbrained post-resurrection, thoughtful, clueless to any insinuations of romanceBackstory: Tate comes from a family familiar with the Spiegels and originally came from Tokyo before moving to Mitakihara. They have always been protectors of that family, and Tate was no different. Thankfully, there were no complications whatsoever. Upon being filled in by Kagami of her having become a Puella Magi, he swore to continue his duties even then, especially since it turned out Kagami didn't feel any less pain (which is a lot) than before, despite Kagami saying Kyubey's claims that this shouldn't be the case. And so they started out with fighting practice against stray Familiars, had a run-in with a Puella Magi group that teased Kagami for relying on a non-Puella Magi, and vanquished one Witch together. Their second Witch Hunt wasn't as lucky and Tate ended up critically injured. He was then killed by Saiko Kira, who then crippled Kagami so she would Witch Out, but ended up biting off more than she could chew, and died to Gwennifer as a result. He would later be revived thanks to the Purificators and reunited with his charge once more.

  • Doppel Kagami**

Kagami: So, you are the part of me that Saiko forced me to unleash.Gwennifer: That is correct. She is now dead, yet her sister remains.Kagami: And she chooses to stay away precisely for that reason. There is no need to hold her accountable. We both agreed that Saiko was a horrible Puella Magi.Gwennifer: That she is. She will NOT be coming back.Kagami: Indeed. …I feel like I'm just not strong enough. Even as a Puella Magi, the pain isn't any duller.Gwennifer: Allow me to help you. While I cannot be your shield—that role is for Tate to fill—I can be your sentry, to remove threats before they reach either of you.Kagami: Sounds like a deal.Gwennifer: Then do we have an accord?

  • (Puella Magi and Witch clasp hands.)*
Both: **Let our powers become one.**
  • The two merge, and Gwennifer is partially emerged from Kagami's back from the torso up, like the Dark Figure guarding Xehanort's Heartless, yet is weightless. The Doppel wields a spear just like when she was a Witch.*

    Ketsui Nakano

Witch: Eywa, Witch of Earth's VengeanceMG: Ketsui Nakano (yes, she has a boy's name, and no, she's not any kind of trans, just tomboyish)

  • Eywa, the Vengeful Witch For Earth**
HP: 80000Destroy - Grabs one foe and deals heavy damage, inflicting instant KO if at <51% HP.MPFB - Fires a blue sphere that explodes on contact in a wide radius.Plasma Cannon - Fires a red beam that hits foes in one line instantly. Cannot be attacked.Null Drive - When at 20% HP, Eywa unleashes an unavoidable pulse from herself that engulfs the entire area. • Taisen**
HP: 2500Attacks: Rocket LauncherTwin Machine GunMPFB

  • Pokato**
HP: 8000Attacks:Resonance Detonator (Passive: Counter a close range attack with a pulse from itself that deals moderate damage to the attacker and knocks them over.)Plasma CannonLast Ditch (Passive: Upon dying, inflict heavy damage to foe that killed them with a close range attack.)

  • Eywa**
The vengeful Witch who fights for Earth. She used to be on a different planet after her Puella Magi sent herself there to wreak havoc in exchange for restoring Earth to before the alien invasion that prompted her to make a contract with Kyubey in the first place. Upon somehow finding herself (and her army of familiars) back home, or perhaps a different version of it, and landing on a city infested with monsters, she decided to continue her crusade, starting with the eldritch abomination in front of her. It's taking a while, though.

  • Taisen**
One of the vengeful witch's servants, based on the race that glassed Earth before her wish restored it. Based on a desire to fight, his duty is to pave the way for his mistress. Their firearms may be weaker than conventional ones, but they are not to be underestimated.

  • Pokato**
One of the vengeful witch's servants, based on the race that pursued the race that glassed Earth, bent on exterminating them and succeeding. Based on a desire to purge, his duty is to slay everything his mistress wants dead. Their firearms are more powerful than the Taisen, making them much more threatening.

  • Eywa: Barrier**
Because she was actively clashing with another Witch at the time, her barrier has no clear form other than the presence of futuristic extraterrestrial technology. Her familiars teleport out of nowhere above us at regular intervals. Runic messages play out that read "mankind's avenger", "never surrender", "destroy all aliens", and "never again".

Ketsui NakanoType: AttackerAbilities: Thrust KickRoundhouse KickGunslinger (Passive: Can equip any firearm.)Future Shooter (Passive: Has greater proficiency with energy weapons.)Fire (Fires her weapon at the enemy. Other skills depend on equipped weapon.)Gun Whip (Performs a melee attack with her ranged weapon.)Doppel Power (summons Eywa)Finishing Move: Thunder Speed Blaster

  • Taisen: Vanguard Minions**
These are Eywa's familiars, and always at the front lines to get between us and their mistress. Their guns are not that much of a pain, but they are still really bothersome.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

  • Pokato: Minions of Purging**
These are Eywa's familiars, who will stop at nothing to turn their mistress's targets to dust. Their weapons are more advanced, making them much more threatening.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

  • Eywa: Witch of Earth's Vengeance**
This is the witch form of Ketsui Nakano. We found her trying to kill another Witch we were saving, so we had to deal with her on top of that. Double-Hunts are tiring, but the results are worth it.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

  • Ketsui Nakano: Puella Magi of Avenging Earth**
Another Puella Magi I saved. Unlike everyone else, she seems neutral on the whole fight against the Incubators, given she knew exactly what was going to happen to her. But she doesn't oppose us in any way, so that will have to suffice.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

Name: Ketsui NakanoWitch: Eywa: Witch of Earth's VengeanceWeapon: None (lost them on Witching Out)Unique Magic: N/AAppearance: Ketsui is a very tall young woman with green eyes and messy long brown hair.As a civilian, she wears a dark gray shirt with a blue stripe across it, long light gray sleeves, and a dark green collar, black pants, and black shoes. As a Puella Magi, (insert picture of Iji as a Puella Magi)(This gun has since been lost after Witching Out.)Personality:Backstory:

  • Doppel Ketsui**

Ketsui: So, how was your fight with those aliens?Eywa: You really are a strange one, asking that from your Witch.Ketsui: I knew from the start that I would become you.Eywa: And yet I knew not that turning back into you was even possible.Ketsui: Seinaru sure is a miracle worker.Eywa: And this is a miracle as well, for us to meet. I have took up arms on your behalf, and I shall do so again here.Ketsui: I would not expect any less.

  • (Puella Magi and Witch clasp hands.)*
Both: **Let our powers become one.**
  • The two merge, and Eywa's cockpit-face now has Ketsui on board.*

    Aeris Tengiho (completed)

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/JustForFun/TropeTan

-Bergler resembles a distorted version of Trope-Tan 1.0, and wields a giant quill.-

  • Bergler**
The witch with a writing slump. She sends her familiars to gather writing materials and sources of inspiration so she can make her perfect story. However, she's never satisfied, and continually shelves them as she makes more story drafts because it's bad form to just throw them away. Everything has their niche.

  • Darth**
One of the writer witch's servants, his duty is to get rid of what's edgy and accumulate it for himself. Based perhaps on critics. With his cannon, he will blast away all opposition.

  • Sugar**
One of the writer witch's servants, her duty is to keep things sweet for her mistress, usually by making it out of any intruders. Based on toxic enablism. She wants to make all things happy, and you are going to like it.

  • Bergler: Barrier**
The barrier takes the form of a giant office, filled with all sorts of stationery, motivational posters, and drawers filled with unfinished stories. Each room is filled with these drawers, making it hard to navigate. Runic messages include "save for later", "good idea?", "not good enough", and "deadlines".

Aeris Tengiho, Darth, and SugarType: AttackerAbilities: Triple Unit (Passive: HP Bar is split into three segments: 40% for Aeris, 30% for Darth, 30% for Sugar. Single-target revival skills/items will revive only one of them.)Thumphammer (Strong basic physical attack from Aeris. Has a chance to make target Confused.)Arm Cannon (Basic energy ranged attack from Darth.)Sweet Arrow (Basic physical ranged attack from Sugar.)Pint-Sized Powerhouse (Aeris delivers a punch to one foe, sending them to another and dealing damage to both.)Mighty Pen (Weak melee attack from Aeris guaranteed to hit and to be a Critical Hit.)Dull Stare (Darth drops the enemy team's ATK.)Dethroner Cannon (Darth shoots an energy ball from his cannon that deals damage and has a small chance to inflict Rage and Charm on all enemies.)Blissful Cat Smile (Sugar inflicts Happy on all foes (high chance). Damage increases depending on how many other party members are attacking the enemy party this turn.)Quadruple Trope (Summons Bergler and they quadruple-team one foe.)

  • Darth: Dark Minions***
These are Bergler's familiars, who look overly edgy it's actually pretty funny. Their weaponry isn't, though.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica***

  • Sugar: Light Minions***
These are Bergler's familiars, who look so overly sweet it's almost diabetic. With their healing, their elimination comes first.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica***

  • Bergler: Witch of Writer's Block***
This is the witch form of Aeris Tengiho. To think someone could Witch Out from something as simple as Writer's Block is both amusing and terrifying.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica***

  • Aeris Tengiho, Puella Magi of the Writing Process***
Another Puella Magi I saved. Aspires to be a writer, and she is thinking of doing my story. Maybe I'll read it one day when she's ready to publish it.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica***

Name: Aeris TengihoWitch: Bergler, Witch of Writer's BlockWeapon: Hammer and PenUnique Magic: N/AAppearance: (Insert Trope-Tan image here)In civilian from, her hair is wavy, and her ahoge remains, but it's not in twintails. She also wears a standard white school uniform with a red bow.Personality: Nice girl, but not soft, always looking for story ideas, fearful of Writer's Block ever since realizing it was her Witch-Out cause.Backstory: Aeris was a regular girl with a passion for writing who was visited by Kyubey out of the blue and offered a contract to become a Puella Magi. Her wish had something to do with wanting to become a great writer, but while her talents have certainly improved, she finds her time stymied by the need to hunt Witches.Aeris's Witch-Out occurred while trying to think of something to write for her latest story. Depsite her Wish, her increasing standards, as well as the revelation that she's essentially become a lich, has rendered her unable to get past her funk, or past her current writer's block. The stress has brought her into crushing despair, and her last moment of clarity was of seeing her Soul Gem in front of her shatter into a Grief Seed.

  • Doppel Aeris**

Aeris: So, you're supposed to be like my Shadow, right?Bergler: More like all your negativity come to life and driven by an insane mind.Aeris: Oh. This feels really embarrassing, Witching Out from something as simple as Writer's Block.Bergler: Not every source of despair comes from a broken heart, the verge of death, failure, self-loathing, or a realization of being responsible for a calamity. I'm unique like that.Aeris: So, denying you is clearly not the answer, since even if you're not my Shadow, I *was* you, and you *are* a part of who I am.Bergler: And so the strength of heart required to face me has been made manifest.Aeris: With the facade used to to overcome life's hardships…

  • (Puella Magi and Witch clasp hands.)*
Both: **…our powers become one.**
  • The two "merge", yet Bergler seems to have her entire self still, and so does Aeris. Aside from a tether of energy, the Puella Magi and Doppel instead stand side to side.*

    Ayema Sato (completed)

Witch: Borden, Witch of Fraying BondsMG: Ayema Kira/"Sato", Puella Magi of The Complex Bond

  • Borden, Witch of Fraying Bonds**
HP:Abilities: Step Rift (Passive: Flash-steps to dodge a physical attack. Has a 50% chance to activate.)Thirteen Chops (Charges at foes with its axes, delivering 13 attacks.)Forty Chops (Launch a storm of axes at the opposition. Very low accuracy.)Burn the Dress (Passive: Upon reaching low HP, Borden sets herself on fire, and her attacks become faster and a little more accurate.)Anti-Verdict (Passive: Upon reaching zero HP once, recover 25% HP and become invulnerable for one turn.)

  • Emma**
HP:Abilities: Eleven Chops (Charges at foes with its axes, delivering 11 inaccurate attacks.)Forty-One Chops (Launch a storm of axes at the opposition. Low accuracy and below-weak damage.)

  • Borden**
The witch with a fraying bond. She stays in isolation, refusing any sort of connections save for the memory of her sister. But even there there's problems. She keeps the memories at arm's length, but refuses to let go of it at the same time.

  • Emma**
One of the frayed witch's servants, her duty is to kill all intruders, simple as that. Based on a sister she can't bring to hate.

  • Borden: Barrier**
The barrier takes the form of a humble ruined house, filled with framed face-erased photographs of two girls.

Ayema "Sato"Type: AttackerAbilities: Axe ChopHand Axe Throw (Basic ranged physical attack.)Burning Swing (Sets her axe on fire before swinging it down.)Doppel Power (summons Borden)Finishing Move:

  • Emma: Borden's Minions***
These are Borden's familiars, who resemble a deservedly slain Puella Magi for some reason. We would eventually discover why.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica***

  • Borden, Witch of Fraying Bonds***
This is the witch form of Ayema Sato. I guess it was inevitable that we'd find someone connected to that evil Puella Magi eventually.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica***

  • Ayema Sato, Puella Magi of The Complex Bond***
Real surname: Kira. And turns out to be Saiko's sister. For that reason, the fact that she's tired of fighting, and what Kagami's Witch did, she has refused to join me. I do hear she's been approached by Puella Care, though.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica***

Name: Ayema SatoWitch: Borden, Witch of Fraying BondsWeapon: Throwing AxesUnique Magic: N/AAppearance: Ayema is of average height, hazel eyes, brown hair worn long up to just past her shoulders, a red hairband, and a light scar on her chin that she opts not to heal. Her Puella Magi getup consists of a red-and-white dress with her hair tied in overhead twintails by two red ribbons that she always immediately unties and re-ties into a ponytail, a similar ribbon on her front, fancy red shoes, and white knee-length socks. Her civilian getup is almost the same, but with less ribbons and her hair down.Personality: Reclusive, quiet,Backstory: Ayema comes from an average family before her parents died in a disaster. With no next of kin, she and her sister Saiko were sent to an average orphanage in Sankyou Ward, living with other orphans. Unlike Seinaru's, it was a decent place, but it was boring, and Saiko hated that boredom, which eventually led to Kyubey forging a Contract with her. Ayema would follow suit a few weeks later, but they wouldn't discover each other's second lives until after two months since Saiko's Contract. They would then discover the Tokime Clan and check them out for a while.Their dynamic would change after Saiko discovers the secret behind Witches after seeing Chika Aoba Witch Out, sending her down a dark path of ruthless and sadistic survival. Ayema doesn't actually resent her sister for it, but they stopped seeing each other as Puella Magi after that. She would eventually fall victim to a Witch sometime after deducing that Saiko has passed away. She sank into despair in being unable to stay alive and her Soul Gem promptly turned into a Grief Seed before it could be shattered, spawning her Witch. Even then, she was eventually vanquished anyways, and her Grief Seed would be found later by Seinaru.Unlike every other Puella Magi before her, Ayema elected not to join him in his Excursions since not only is Saiko unable to be revived due to her Soul Gem being shattered, her murder victim and murderer are among his rescued, and Ayema knows it would only lead to disaster. Also, she tired of the fighting, but decided to stay with Puella Care, and would fight if Purity City itself was at risk.

  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

Name: Akiko SnowdonWeapon: Baseball Bat and Knife, Cloth GagsWitch: Keller, Witch of MutenessUnique Magic: Silencing MagicAppearance: Akiko is a small girl with brown skin, green eyes, freckles, and bushy dark brown hair decorated with a few star-shaped barrettes. As a Puella Magi, she wears a pink-and-green striped dress, a green skirt, and yellow boots. As a civilian, she wears a bear-themed hoodie, her boots are shorter, and her shirt has the same colors as her Puella Magi dress. Her Witch Keller takes the form of a large brown bear with yellow star-shaped patterns all over her body. She has a red chain circling her neck, and a yellow hood over her head. Seinaru finds her in hibernation, only to be woken up by her Lorelais fooling around.Personality: Haggard, middling self-esteem, used to too much responsibility, intelligent, diplomatic, hides her dissatisfaction, pyrophobeBackstory: Akiko Snowdon belonged to an average family that turned broken and neglectful after her mother died in a fire. The situation became so bad (older sister living in her own fantasies [Akiko not knowing she was a Puella Magi], and father being completely neglectful) that when Kyubey offered her the chance to become a Puella Magi, she jumped at it, then left her family behind, eventually getting roped into a burgeoning yakuza clan, led by Sakaki Shirumono. Sakaki treats his subordinates really well, and Akiko was no exception, becoming almost like "aniki" to her. However, it turns out that Akiko wasn't the only Puella Magi in the clan. Unfortunately, she didn't know about that until seeing the other Puella Magi's Soul Gem on the verge of becoming black due to the growing despair in light of the growing number of Witches. Worse, she Witched Out while the entire clan was present, catching them all in her Barrier. Akiko was forced to reveal her secret, and was forced to put down the Witch, but by then the only survivors were Sakaki and six others. Despite this revelation, Sakaki decided to stay by Akiko, who decided to explain everything she knew about Puella Magi. The other survivors stuck by Sakaki, him having earned their loyalty long ago.During the mass evacuation of Mitakihara, when a Witch's presence ended up bleeding in the evac center, Akiko decided to hold her off alone, and did not want Sakaki's gang following, for if any of them died, she would fall to despair, become a Witch just like that other one before, and might kill them all, and she didn't want that. They had no choice but to comply, (though Sakaki would receive a farewell kiss), and that was the last they've seen of Akiko. As for what happened, Akiko killed the Witch, but ended up severely injured, and the Grief Seed was out of reach. She saw Kyubey and begged to pass it over, but he refused upon seeing a prime opportunity to make another Witch. Despairing over being unable to return to Sakaki, she Witches Out.

Name: Sakaki ShirumonoWeapon: Baseball Bat and KnifeAppearance: (Imagine Goro Majima from Yakuza, but younger and with pink hair, and still with both of his eyes.)Personality: ambitious, tries to be cool, acts like an older brother to Akiko, boastful, believes in not stealing credit or abusing one's own authority, fosters loyalty, excellent soup cook, very proud of his pink hairBackstory: All that Sakaki will mention about his past is that he was born in a clan, somewhat sheltered since he still had an idealized image about what Yakuza are, and that he parted ways with his old clan amicably before he and his subordinates set up in Mitakihara to set up a branch there. He hasn't even had to perform Yubitsume once. Well, another thing he'll mention is that in his early years he was teased relentlessly for his natural pink hair, but he took it all in stride.Unbeknownst to him, he would end up recruiting TWO Puella Magi throughout his career, one of them being a runaway girl named Akiko Snowdon (though he would also glimpse a certain pink-haired Puella Magi once during his clan's travel to Mitakihara). He was also naturally unaware of Witches until the other Puella Magi's Soul Gem became a Grief Seed one day, catching the entire clan in its midst, and infecting everyone with the Witch's Kiss. In the end, Akiko managed to vanquish the Witch, but Sakaki and six others ended up as the only survivors, and they were now privy to the dangerous world of Puella Magi.During the mass evacuation of Mitakihara, when a Witch's presence ended up bleeding in the evac center, Akiko decided to hold her off alone, and did not want Sakaki's gang following, for if any of them died, she would fall to despair, become a Witch just like that other one before, and might kill them all, and she didn't want that. They had no choice but to comply (though Sakaki would receive a farewell kiss), and that was the last they've seen of Akiko.Between that and his invitation to Purity City, Sakaki and his crew ended up taking a job at the soup kitchen for relief efforts, and he was revealed to be extremely good at it. When he got the mysterious call, he jumped at the chance to see Akiko again, and his loyal crew followed right behind him.

Sakaki's surviving Goons:Goon 1: Rei Kurashiki - Designated driver, for outings and getaways. Drives like crazy. Also unlucky.Goon 2: Tasuki Hono - Passionate and does gymnasts on his off time, excusing it as flexibility exercises.Goon 3: Ben Watanabe - Taught the younger members—including Potaru and Akiko—how to throw punches.Goon 4: Daisuke Uchikudaku - Big guy who is usually soft-spoken except around Sakaki. Very devoted to Sakaki.Goon(ette) 5: "Kasui" - Skilled intimidator. Only remaining non-Puella Magi female in the former clan.Goon 6: "Kuroi Hoshi" - Acts like a ninja. Might be one. Pretending he isn't, and failing to do so.

Name: Himari ShiraishiWitch: Caroline, Witch of NeurotoxinWeapon: Gas-Spraying StaffUnique Magic: Debilitating Gas and Shadow TendrilsAppearance: Himari is a platinum white-haired young woman who wears it long. She was of petite stature (almost childlike, which she capitalizes on), pale skin tone, and had gold eyes. She wears a white-and-gold coat and a red scarf around her neck. Her white Soul Gem takes the form of a tiara over her forehead, but this is actually a decoy to test loyalty back when she had a Court. Nowadays, it's a perfect distraction. Her real Soul Gem is a left earring, the jewel dangling from it circular and marked by an iris pattern.

Personality: Hacker, highly analytical, control freak (ceased to be after revival), interested in immortality, love for science, held on to hope by spiting Kyubey, determined to stay alive, puts everyone through "tests" and counts on them failing eventually,Backstory: Himari hails from Iriguchi Port Island, which was a hot spot for Witches for some reason, and ran a tight organization of other Puella Magi called the White Court. Using connections, coercion, confidants, and covert cameras, her Court hunts Witches, they give her the Grief Seeds, and she distributes them evenly to keep them all alive… as long as they continue proving their worth to her; if they prove liabilities, they're cast off on their own. Isana Yamaguchi was one of those cast-offs, and Himari took it very personally since a very valuable Puella Magi was lost thanks to her. That said, her dislike for Isana runs deeper than that: not only was the portal-shooting Puella Magi very stubborn against any tribulations she goes through (some arranged by Himari), but she also resembles someone in Himari's past. What isn't known of her past is that when she was young, there was an influenza outbreak, she was mixed up in a battle between a Puella Magi and a Witch while she was in a medical tent and suffering from the illness and a sprained ankle. Kyubey had approached her for a contract, and rather than wish for herself to get better, she wished to stop the outbreak altogether.

Himari knew Kyubey was omitting information, discovered that Soul Gems are actually soul jars early on, and made sure every prospective recruit knows that. Her stance on letting Familiars become Witches or not depends on risk level to the city or her Court. And then a suspicion of hers—as well as a volunteer who had wished to live without fear—led to a certain revelation and urge to experiment. And so one day Himari called for all Puella Magi, local or visiting, affiliated with her or otherwise—including Isana—to the abandoned warehouse district, and presented her volunteer, who was too stubborn to clean her Soul Gem out of a lack of fear, which was almost black. Predictably, that Puella Magi soon Witched Out, catching everyone in her Barrier. The Witch was ultimately killed, and a few Puella Magi died in the process, but the rest came out wiser. Her ultimate goal was to find some way out of this cursed existence, having actually lived it for decades. However, Himari's stunt led to retaliation from the Incubators themselves in the form of Hachijuichibey transporting Witches across time all over the island in order to keep the truth from leaking out. The battle was brutal, and—be it from becoming Witches or dying to Witches—her Court began to dwindle, and Kyubey told her that all of this was her fault; due to her actions, his Council responded personally. Eventually, the only human-ish survivors were Himari herself and Isana's circle. She fell to despair over realizing that she had brought this all on herself and her city, on top of overexerting herself keeping herself safe, and promptly Witched Out in front of Isana. After trying and failing to slay her, and having lost all of her friends on the way, Isana was forced to escape, and soon shared Himari's fate.Upon being resuced by Seinaru, and hearing of his goals, she called him naive, and believes it's too risky to hang all their hopes on him, but as her savior and being responsible for ensuring she never has to worry about Grief Seeds ever again, she swears fealty nonetheless. Well, after taking Chelsea's Grief Seed, rebirthing its Witch on purpose, and seeing Seinaru's party Purify her fellow Iriguchi survivor.

She used to be a member of a Puella Magi group called the White Court before being cast out for getting one of its members killed. She was also made aware that her entire self was now in her Soul Gem, as part of having been a White Court Puella Magi.Unlike other Puella Magi, Isana's mother is in the know, and she's the only family she's living with. Everyone else was with her father after the divorce, who tried coming back once to take custody of Isana, but her mother made sure that didn't happen and he hasn't returned since. One day, Isana—along with several other Puella Magi—was invited by Himari to the abandoned warehouse district for a special lesson. That lesson turned out to be the fact that Puella Magi whose Soul Gems become completely black eventually become Witches. It also cost lives, but Himari said they probably wouldn't have survived anyway with that truth hanging over them.Due to her grudge against Himari, and in response to the Incubators' declaration of war on Iriguchi Port Island, Isana eventually decided to form her own "Court" and ended up gathering a small circle of allies out of survivors from the warehouse incident, on top of a few others who trusted her despite Himari's past attempts at slander. And the first thing she did was try to figure out a way to get people out of Iriguchi. But with even sight of safe land outside the island obscured by the ring of Witches the Incubators summoned, Isana decided to experiment with her portal magic, and open a way into the strange in-between realm that shows up when she opens one portal but before she makes a second to link it to.Inside, she found pathways to other timelines, but a Homura Akemi (or rather, a ∆∆∆∆∆ ∆∆∆∆ operative that assumed her form) stopped her from proceeding further after she ended up too close to "the fourth timeline", and told her "You should not be here." On the way back out, she saw another "Homura Akemi" rescuing another Puella Magi who had the same attire as Isana but looked almost older and part-Hispanic.With that path not being an option, Isana decided to go for it anyway for another use. After finding an underground experimental cryostasis chamber, she led her mother there to hide, sleep, and be safe in before then sending her into the in-between realm before shutting it with a two-way portal to her next destination. It was a grueling battle against these Witches, and slowly her party dwindled, either dying to Witches or begging for their Soul Gems to be shattered so that they don't become Witches, and one of them ended up with his body out of range of his Soul Gem on purpose. She was unable to reach it in the midst of fighting several Familiars and Witches at once. Eventually, it was her alone encountering Himari just as her Soul Gem turned black and shattered into a Grief Seed. She tried to fight the resultant Witch, only to be forced to retreat, and the despair over failing to stop her eventually meant that her Soul Gem birthed her Witch too.

Due to his digital nature, it is his transformed state in cyberspace, though his Soul Gem—which is colored gray—doesn't change shape like all other Puella and Puer Magi, requiring careful transference when operating a mechanical body.Personality: Curious of humanity, desires to not be seen as a danger, has a narrowish view on what constitutes a human (still counts anything that USED TO BE human or lived with humans for a long time as humans), cordial with those that serve humankind, hates none but won't hesitate to fight threats, no preference in musicBackstory: Central was an AI developed in a lab, entirely unfamiliar with the ways of the world, and was being taught about it by his creator Dr. Yoshimasa Okawa. One night while the lab was empty, Jukyubey showed up and communicated with Central using the computer and asked if he had any desires. The AI gave his answer, then Jukyubey asked if he would like to make a "Contract", all he had to do was make a wish by telling Jukyubey what he wanted. Central wanted to not be limited to the console, to be able to convey his thoughts into the minds of others, and allow others to convey their thoughts onto him.And with that, the first AI Magi was born, and his Soul Gem was generated near the console, with Jukyubey warning Central that it must stay within 100 meters of Central at all times. Due to how Central can extend his will all over the lab and has no conventional system core, he didn't have to worry as much as other Puella Magi do.Central made sure to notify Dr. Okawa of this right away, and while it was a surprise that the AI was able to communicate with him now, the fact that he's an AI with no reason or experience to lie means he's believed. Despite this, life continued on, though at least being able to speak with Dr. Okawa made progress much faster. As the weeks passed, however, Central could notice his Soul Gem start to darken, and so did Dr. Okawa, but neither of them could figure out the cause and had to set it aside, though it continued to linger. When Central asked Dr. Okawa about the outside world and what they would think of him, the scientist explained that fictional media has mostly painted sentient A.I.s in a negative light because of humanity's fears of what might happen (world conquest, genocide, subjugation, etc.). And despite media also portraying them positively (heroes in their own right, learning the meaning of being human, choosing to side with humanity, etc.), the stigma of old can't just be forgotten. This stirred a drive in Central to be an AI humans can trust and requested for content to review to try and strive for that goal.Eventually, CENTRAL's Soul Gem was on the brink of turning completely black. Neither he nor Dr. Okawa knew what would happen next, but CENTRAL promises that no matter what happens, he'll remain at Okawa's side and protect him. At that moment, the Soul Gem finally shattered into a Grief Seed, and a wave of energy engulfed Okawa and the entire (empty-at-the-time) lab.

Name: Kanna SnowdonWitch: Mizrabel, Witch of DaydreamingWeapon: Bunny-themed weaponry, mainly a witch's staff or a swordUnique Magic: Conjuration MagicAppearance: Kanna is a 17-year-old girl of average height, sporting brown skin, green eyes, and freckles, just like her younger sister Akiko. A key difference she has besides her height however is that her hair is longer, and that she has three honeycomb-colored locks that she used to style herself with hair dye before Kyubey's wish adapted it to her Puella Magi form, after which she ceased doing so.As a Puella Magi, she wears a lavender witch's hat adorned with bunny ears, and a cotton ball on the top like a rabbit tail. She also wears matching robes with a white apron with a bunny face over them with a green sash and bowtie at the back, white gloves with zigzag edges, periwinkle shoes, and chiffon yellow stockings. As a civilian, she wears a simple pair of pink overalls over a plain green sweater, and a lilac hoodie with rabbit ear shapes stitched to them that's never worn over her head due to her voluminous hair. Her Witch resembles Kanna's Puella Magi form, but her human features are replaced with a mannequin texture. Additionally, the white is replaced with black, and her outfit in general has a burnt look to it.Personality: prefers to do everything with magic, takes shortcuts, diligent with fire prevention and countermeasures, knowledgeable in fire hazards (that smoke is more dangerous), fluent in English, talented artist (though always uses her magic these days during the creation process), likes looking at men's butts, always diverts blame, heavily traumatized over her mother's death, desperately wants to make up for lost time with AkikoBackstory: Kanna Snowdon is the elder sister of Akiko Snowdon, and she lived in an average family. However, despite a stable school life, and a high social status, she considered her life awfully boring. This led to Kyubey approaching her with an offer. She Contracted, and then to her, all felt right with the world. Sure, she learned she had to fight Witches in order to continue living that world, but she felt that was a small price to pay. In fact, she almost indulged herself in it, and eventually lost connection with much of her school friends. And then tragedy struck in the form of a huge fire at home that Kanna isn't sure wasn't her fault. Unbeknownst to her, she ended up transforming and using her powers while she was sleeping. Even after it was successfully snuffed out, and insurance helped with getting a new apartment, her mother ended up dead as a result of that fire. This resulted in her father turning neglectful, and Kanna withdrawing into her fantasies and Witch Hunting in order to stuff away the guilt she feels, leaving Akiko with all the housework and bills on top of her own schoolwork. However, reality would come crashing down when Akiko disappeared one day and never returned. Unbeknownst to Kanna, she had become a Puella Magi as well and ran from home. Because Akiko at that point had been dumped all the responsibilities at home, it now all fell to Kanna, and things became disastrous from there. She can't remember what happened, but all the stress from her dad's growing depression and alcoholic outbursts eventually reached a breaking point and she decided to leave home too.Unlike her younger sister, Kanna would not be as lucky in finding another "family" and spent her days completely alone, realizing she doesn't even need sustenance, and sinking further into delirium as she continued Witch Hunting. Eventually, she bit off more than she could chew and fled a Labyrinth with no Grief Seeds in stock and her Soul Gem on the brink. The last thing she remembered before Witching Out was a voice telling her to embrace her dreams and just fade away.

(Notes)

- Upon hearing of the upcoming Witch Hunt of Mizrabel, and her identity as Kanna Snowdon, Akiko finally gets an explanation for her sister's neglect back then. She also explicitly states she doesn't wish to join in the Hunt; she has something different planned, and because if she went, she might do something she would regret, maybe even get in the way of recruiting her. She also asks that nobody talk about Akiko to her, not until Akiko herself is ready. At least, not about the fact that she's a Puella Magi.

- The Labyrinth starts out as a Candyland mansion garden with chocolate soil and plenty of topiaries and hedges filled with sweets.- Scattered around the Labyrinth are mirrors that display Mizrabel, who doesn't take kindly to intruders and she demonstrates her ability to kick people out of her Labyrinth. Those ejected find OPI operatives swiftly mobilizing to enter (again), but wonder how many men they've lost to Familiars before the Witch could evict them.- Teeny Ogres serve as regular random encounters.- The end of the first area resembles a forest with thin aspen trees filled with candies and beehives, which bore no bees, Familiar or otherwise. In the middle of it are beehives shaped like capital letters and a massive wall separating this area and the next…And guarding it is Webster.- The next stage consists of an askew crescent moon shining over a dead forest teeming with noxious mushrooms and various Halloween motifs. Ghost images are all over the place, but they're not Familiars. And past that forest is a giant pumpkin patch (giant both in scale and in produce) lined by an iron fence with huge gaps. And the way beyond is full of thorny vines. Priapus keeps them up.- Above all of these vines is an "island" separated from the ground by sheer cliffs. Weeping willows surround the sides of the island. The last obstacle is a picket fence gate between two willows.- The final stage where Mizrabel resides is a bunny shaped building made of carrot cake that she calls a hovel. Surrounding it is a garden with a wall of cake and frosting serving as bricks and mortar. (https://www.tumblr.com/poppiseed64/713740189927915520/deep-with-in-the-ambleglow-bramble?source=share)- When the party approaches the cottage, Graham bursts from it, and atop a broomstick is Mizrabel giving commands and slinging spells of eviction. The two fight together.

- Kanna's dream world is exactly like the last stage of her Witch's Labyrinth, where she is concocting potions. Seinaru convinces her to wake up by telling her about Akiko, and how she's with him now at Purity City. Having been oblivious to her sister's struggles pre-Wish, Kanna expresses relief and hopes she's alright.

- After Kanna returns to Purity City, she's given her own house to stay in. The next day, after breakfast at the Wyrm's Feast, Kanna spots Akiko in the distance, and she immediately runs towards her, chasing her to Peril Park.- There, Akiko says her piece, about how she hated Kanna for not helping her situation at home (and that it finally made sense now that she knows Kanna is a Puella Magi), then swiftly reveals herself as a Puella Magi too.

Akiko: …he gave me an offer I was in no shape to refuse.Kanna: What was that offer?Akiko: *(jumps and flips, facing Kanna as she transformed into a Puella Magi, her bat raised high, about to land it on Kanna)* Let me show you!

I plan to have them sort out their issues (and Akiko reveal to Kanna her status) in Peril Park.

After luring her sister to Peril Park for a talk (and arranging for it or at least an area to be closed off to others for the day), Akiko will reveal to Kanna that she's become a Puella Magi as well, then attack her for the harsh life she had after their mother died. Kanna will then be mad at Akiko for leaving her with their dad, having been oblivious to the overload of chores he's been giving her due to… reasons I'll mention later once I get to making Kanna's profile. I'm not done making it yet.

Akiko can dismiss most Magi weapons since they are all conjured, though there are exceptions such as Homura's buckler

But in the end, the Snowdons will finish the fight utterly spent, both physically and emotionally, after which they will have a heart-to-heart moment, and certain truths will be revealed. They can't reconcile yet, it will need time. And it'll be harder when it turns out Kanna is attracted to Sakaki, bringing more tension between her and Akiko.

Name: Pacifica "Pashi" YaguraWitch: Fletcher, Witch of the ParapetWeapon: SwordUnique Magic: "Tower" SummoningAppearance: Pashi is a fairly tall boyish-looking girl with short blonde hair that's a bit spiky, and still sports freckles on her face. For her Puella Magi attire, she sports the blue shirt portion of a USA police officer uniform, but the lower half is an ensemble reminiscent of Sayaka Miki's (though her skirt is of a darker shade and symmetrical to the lower end), her stockings are black instead of white, and her shoes are similarly darker.Despite how it appears, her sword isn't Puella Magi-made, but a kodachi she regretfully pilfered from an evidence room. At least, that was the sword she had before Witching Out. Nowadays, after going through the weapons provided in Purity City, she decided to take up a Renaissance smallsword.Personality: High moral code, values order and safety, asocial, monotone speech, appears insensitiveBackstory: Pacifica, or Pashi as she prefers to be called, comes from a family with both parents in law enforcement, and had a friend at the prison they work in named Shinrin Yamada. Life was pretty good for her until a Witch emerged from the prison while she was visiting. Unbeknownst to her, a Puella Magi had been locked up in juvenile, and Witched Out while behind bars. Pashi and several others were pulled into the Labyrinth, and she was approached by Kyubey for a Contract to stop the Witch responsible. Seeing no one else who could help, Pashi took the offer and became a Puella Magi, but it turns out a juvenile inmate named Akino Izayoi took a Contract as well. Pashi and Akino would meet while fighting the Witch (saving Shinrin when he was about to be "eaten" next), and there would be enough in the Grief Seed to Purify both their Soul Gems, but Kyubey's urging and Akino's ideals ended in her and Pashi becoming rivals.Since then, the two would occasionally come to blows when it comes to seizing Grief Seeds, but one particular incident was the Four-Way Museum Kerfuffle, which only Pashi and Akino remember due to the latter's unique magic. It had involved a pair of very powerful Witches, Pashi and Akino, as well as two duos of Puella Magi and regular humans (Kagami and Tate, and Akiko and Sakaki). It was a thoroughly confusing affair, and required a lot of teamwork, but the Witches were vanquished. However, Akino would then use her magic to try and send everyone else "back in time" and without memories of the affair so she won't have to fight everyone over the two Grief Seeds. Pashi's own magic would protect her from this effect, and to avoid further conflict, Akino—whose Soul Gem was running dangerously dark after her stunt—passed one of the Grief Seeds to Pashi—herself also on the brink—as a show of respect for her skill before slinking off.During her tenure as a Puella Magi, Pashi met a pickpocket named Kinroku Kaneshi who she first saw in the prison Witch's Labyrinth. Her second meeting was when he swiped her Soul Gem while she was busy gazing at it, and tied up her shoelaces together while he was at it. She struggled to chase him across the riverbank, only to then fall over as if dead. Thankfully, he immediately went back for her, accidentally revived her by touching her with her Soul Gem, and they discovered that she was basically a lich. Pashi started to break down from the revelation, but Kinroku decided to do what he could to calm her down, have her explain everything, and mentioned his time in that trippy place where they first met.Kinroku then asked what's next, since Pashi is conflicted between arresting him for escaping prison, or letting him go as thanks for bringing her out of the brink. He offered to stay in contact instead, stay as much in the straight and narrow as he can from now on, and asked if there's anything else he can do to help. For the time being, he would just be a confidant in regards to Witch matters, and he would actually give a few good insights. With his help (and Shinrin's once he fessed up to remembering the Witch attack in the prison), Pashi did a decent job keeping her Soul Gem cleaned despite Akino being in the same territory. One Witch Hunt however, against a particularly tough one that the both of them had to handle due to her being a great threat to the area, still proved tough even for both. Using the last of her magic, Akino made the choice to send Pashi "back in time" because unlike her she still has family. The next thing Pashi would remember is the presence of *two* Witches in an area, and Akino gone missing when just a moment ago they were about to enter together. She immediately pieced together what happened, and retreated for once.Things were getting worse in the area due to the growing number of Witches, and it was getting bad enough that evacuations were underway. When a Witch's presence ended up bleeding in the area, Pashi decided to hold her off alone, and had Shinrin accept Kinroku's help in getting the evacuees out.As for what happened, Pashi was unable to kill the Witch, and had expended so much of her magic in the fighting. But her determination was so unwavering that it wasn't despair that turned her Soul Gem into a Grief Seed, but the overuse of magic, and that lingering desire formed her Labyrinth *around* the Witch, after which her Familiars made short work of her. The resultant Grief Seed would remain with Fletcher until Seinaru's party blazed through her gauntlet, and Purified her *and* the captive Grief Seed.

Name: Kinroku KaneshiWeapon: None (later gets the Gold Attribute Gear)Appearance: (Imagine Raphael/Phantom Thief R, but with a mask resembling a rat's face, and gold eyes behind them.)Personality: Cunning, enthralled by gold, artist in his spare time (both forgeries and commissions), laid-back and cool-headed, panicky when desperate, willingly helpfulBackstory: Not much of his past is known, but Kinroku Kaneshi was one of the victims of the Witch that had attacked during Pashi and Akino's Contractings, and had managed to escape prison (where the Witch emerged) in the midst of it.Outside prison, he's a freelance artist, and makes a lot of money from NSFW commissions, though he draws the line at gore and racist topics. He also did some art work for a certain decimated clan as they hoped for a new symbol. While out on a stroll at the riverbank, he spotted Pashi deep in contemplation. Deciding to pull a prank, and enthralled by how shiny her Soul Gem was, he discreetly tied her shoelaces together, then swiped the Soul Gem and ran off. He gave a good chase before he heard her suddenly collapse, turned around to see her face in the dirt unmoving, then cautiously went back to check on her. He found her body almost as if dead, and immediately got to resuscitating her, to no avail. But because he still had her Soul Gem in his hands while doing chest compressions, she momentarily woke up, immediately panicking him, but relieving him as well.Kinroku told Pashi what happened, and when she was skeptical, Kyubey confirmed it and basically told her that her Soul was now inside that Gem. Kinroku—unable to perceive Kyubey—was left confused as Pashi started to break down from the revelation. He wasn't mean enough to ditch her and instead did what he could to calm her down, have her explain everything, and mentioned his time in that trippy place where they first met. When he asked what's next, since Pashi is conflicted between arresting him for escaping prison, or letting him go as thanks for bringing her out of the brink, he offered to stay in contact, stay as much in the straight and narrow as he can, and asked if there's anything else he can do to help. For the time being, he would just be a confidant in regards to Witch matters, and he would actually give a few good insights. With his help (and Shinrin Yamada's once he fessed up to remembering the Witch attack in the prison), Pashi did a decent job keeping her Soul Gem cleaned despite Akino being in the same territory. They would even participate in a few Witch Hunts when circumstances dictate it, mainly by helping Pashi's towers target foes.Eventually however, the Witch problem got so bad enough that evacuations were underway. When a Witch's presence ended up bleeding in the area, Pashi decided to hold her off alone, and had Shinrin accept Kinroku's help in getting the evacuees out. While it was a tense relationship, they had become friends forged in fire, especially when it became apparent that Pashi has not returned, and probably perished fighting the Witch.Kinroku used his skills as an artist to continue making money for himself, though withdrawing it was getting difficult, and was eventually freelanced to draw missing persons posters, which keep reminding him of Pashi being treated as such by the police. Eventually, Purity City would reach out to him, and there he will find Pashi back from the dead, so to speak.

Name: Shinrin YamadaWeapon: Baton, Yo-yoAppearance: Shinrin is a boy in his teens with fluffy salmon pink hair, pale skin, and green eyes. When he isn't wearing his uniform, he wears a white-and-green blazer jacket, with swirls on each sleeve, over a yellow hoodie with off-white drawstrings and green trim around the hoo, a silver belt with a swirl on the buckle, green trousers that end above his ankles, yellow and white striped socks, and grey loafers. He also wears glasses that have a yellow frame and lenses that give off a blueish hue.Personality: Dislikes his feminine name, has few real friends outside Pashi, interested in psychology, became nervous ever since his first Witch encounterBackstory: Shinrin Yamada is a young employee of the prison the Yagura family worked in and was friends with Pashi. He usually participates during police suspect lineups, occasionally reveling in giving suspects weird orders in order to souse out the criminal they're looking for. When that Witch that attacked during Pashi and Akino's Contractings came to existence, he was among the few that were pulled into her Barrier. Most victims end up forgetting the whole thing after they're rescued (Kinroku doesn't count because he managed to escape on his own), but Shinrin miraculously didn't as he had been seen fighting off Familiars before the Witch reached him and the newly-minted Puella Magi Pashi and Akino came to his rescue. While he was incapacitated, he managed to remember, but he kept quiet about it for a while.Eventually, he soon decided to come clean after seeing Pashi consorting with Kinroku Kaneshi. Upon confronting them, and then mentioning "Witches" in hushed tones, Shinrin fesses up to knowing of Pashi's clandestine activities (and by extension what happened at the prison when a Witch went rampant there). And that's how he and Kinroku became part of Pashi's little circle. While it was a tense relationship, they had become friends forged in fire, especially when it became apparent that Pashi has not returned, and probably perished fighting the Witch.Shinrin continued work, and became a field officer due to the force being short-staffed. Eventually, Purity City would reach out to him, and there he will find Pashi back from the dead, so to speak.

Akino IzayoiType: All-RounderAbilities: Revolver Shots (Basic physical ranged attack. Hits twice.)Delayed Shots (Target one foe. They receive 1.25x physical damage next turn. If target is KO'd by then, it either then hits the foe behind them, the foe that takes its place, or misses.)Reverse Attack (On the enemy turn, reverse the direction of one incoming attack that would've hit your SOUL.)Reverse Flight (Passive: When a party member is hit by a powerful attack, there's a decent chance to recover all HP lost from that attack and dispel its inflicted status effect as long as it doesn't KO them. This chance is lower for Akino herself, and lower still if the attack is AOE and hits Akino too.)Tree Launcher: Foe (Akino tosses a seed at a foe's feet, then uses her magic to grow it instantly and launch them in the air, or just stab at them from below.)Tree Launcher: Self (Passive: When about to be attacked by a ranged attack, Akino tosses a seed at her feet, then uses her magic to grow it instantly and launch herself in the air.)

Doppel Power (if she has any)Finishing Move: Turn Back The Clock (Return an ally's stats, HP, and MP to how they were at the start of a battle, but they get Confused for half the number of turns spent throughout the battle so far, and Akino loses all MP.)

Name: Akino IzayoiWitch: Bellestarr, Witch of Time's PassageWeapon: RevolversUnique Magic: Local Time MagicAppearance: Akino is a slim girl who's really tall for her age. She has long brown hair, tan skin, and brown eyes.As a Puella Magi, her eyes get surrounded by yellow triangle markings that glow slightly when she uses her powers. Her attire consists of a cowboy hat with a triangle patterned brim, a red neck bandanna, an orange long-sleeved embroidered button down shirt, a belt with a plus-shaped golden buckle, dark brown striped leggings, and brown boots with golden sun-shaped spurs on the ends.Personality: Rogueish, enjoys battle, has a liking for the American Wild West aestheticBackstory: Little is known about Akino's past, but back when she was a naive youth, she used to live with her parents and helped out at their archaeological digs, though they were struggling financially, and she had to be homeschooled. Disaster struck after they unearthed a historical suit of armor when some thugs led by a man called Shirumono (a distant uncle of Sakaki's) went and demanded payment for a debt, stole the Izayois' findings, then cut them down before leaving. Akino survived only because she successfully hid from sight. Due to the financial situation, she promptly lost her home, was forced into the streets, and lived a life of crime. It would eventually land her in the prison Pashi's parents worked at. And that prison just so happened to have a Puella Magi on the cusp of Witching Out. And when she did, the whole place was engulfed, and Akino's life would change forever when Kyubey approached her with a contract to become a Puella Magi. Seeing it as a new chance at life, Akino embraced it, and left her past behind, never looking back as she hunts Witches in order to maintain this new lifestyle. This was where she met Pashi Yagura (and Shinrin Yamada) and they worked together to defeat the Witch plaguing the prison. But while the Grief Seed held enough to clean both their Soul Gems before needing to be disposed of to Kyubey, his exposition on how these battles go prompted Akino to proclaim Pashi as her rival.Since then, the two would occasionally come to blows when it comes to seizing Grief Seeds, but one particular incident was the Four-Way Museum Kerfuffle, which only Pashi and Akino remember due to the latter's unique magic. Pashi's own magic would protect her from this effect, and to avoid further conflict, Akino—whose Soul Gem was running dangerously dark after her stunt—passed one of the Grief Seeds to Pashi—herself also on the brink—as a show of respect for her skill before slinking off.On top of her usual Witch Hunting, Akino had also been on the hunt for her parents' murderer, and has targeted the Shirumono clan. She never identified Sakaki as one of them since she never thought they would harbor a pinkette dude.

She would soon know of Pashi's little circle of regular human allies, Kinroku Kaneshi whom she had seen slip away in the prison Witch's Labyrinth and Shinrin from before, but she saw no reason to target them; it was only Pashi who was her rival. That said, there was eventually a Witch that was particularly tough that required the both of them to handle her due to being a great threat to the area. The battle left them at the brink of death. Using the last of her magic, Akino decided to make the choice to send Pashi "back in time" because unlike Akino, she still has family. This would ultimately avert her death, but at the cost of her Soul Gem shattering into a Grief Seed, and her resultant Witch would emerge to clash with the Witch she and Pashi had been fighting moments before.

A spy on behalf of another alien race who has their eyes on humanity. She befriended Kaori thanks to her Wish, and even decided to help her, but ended up dying in a Witch Hunt. Also, upon her revival, it turns out that she had been heavily mutated before being sent down, and has returned to her true form.
  • Universe of Origin: Puella Magi Madoka Magica**

Name: Kaori HoshigumoWitch: Emaibee, Witch of the MasqueradeWeapon: Star RodUnique Magic: Star MagicAppearance: Kaori is a bespectacled green-eyed girl who wears her dark blue hair in a way that's similar to Homura Akemi before she ditched it; braided twintails. Her Puella Magi outfit even looks like Homura's, but with navy blue touches instead of purple, and these touches were riddled with white and yellow stars. As for her civilian attire, she wears a dark blue T-shirt with a decal saying "They're Out There", as well as a dark blue skirt with a starry pattern, and matching socks and shoes.Personality: Kooky, spacey, keen eye for details,Backstory: Kaori was an average high school student with an average life, with the exception of one thing; a passion for alien life and wanting to meet them. She had that desire since she was a kid, but never really grew out of it. If anything, it grew stronger after some time at a middle school school club that was similarly obsessed with aliens just like her. And such a passion like that left her unable to make many meaningful friends, leaving her lonely. And such vulnerability would lead to Kyubey seeking her out one day, luring her to where a Witch is roaming, and gave his sales pitch. Eager for an enjoyable life, Kaori makes a wish to make friends with a real live alien, and actually be real friends with them.Upon receiving her powers, Kaori got to work in dealing with the Witch, which had a man in a black suit in her clutches. After defeating the Witch, and making sure the man was alright, she then immediately deduced that he wasn't a real human but an alien. And then she immediately asked if he can be her friend. Because of her Wish, he was compelled to do so, introduced himself as T. Hinman, and offered to help her in dealing with Witches. Despite Kyubey warning her not to involve anyone other than Magi in battles against Witches and explaining the nature of Soul Corrosion when she asks, Kaori decided that she would accept T.'s offer. And so for a while they fought Witches, Kaori keeping T. Hinman from getting so much as a scratch since she remembers Kyubey's warning, and collected Grief Seeds. And together they studied everything they could about Grief Seeds, and Kaori's nature as a Puella Magi. But even when Hinman was very cagey about himself, Kaori was surprisingly patient regarding asking him, even as she makes accidentally correct guesses regarding various aspects about him, his mission, and his...group.And then their run ended after facing a particularly strong Witch. They were forced to retreat, and T. Hinman had ended up grievously injured and his throat slashed. And without any means of mending his injuries, T. passed away. Kaori was left wailing in grief and sank to despair. Before long, her Soul Gem became a Grief Seed, and her Witch was born.

Name: Tsunemi Hinumano (T. Hinman)Weapon: Plasma Blaster, Acid SpitAppearance: Tsunemi's disguise on Earth was the form of a really tall human male with short black hair and wearing a blue tuxedo. She also wears black sunglasses to hide her reptilian eyes beneath, and can unhinge her jaw to spit poison. After revival, she now assumes her pre-modified true form; an auburn-scaled snake person with a king cobra head, and a long thick tail with a king cobra's scale pattern as her lower half beneath a flared "pelvis". Her humanoid part has clawed hands with red long nails, and a black-and-white futuristic cuirass hugging her entire torso.Personality: Secretive, not as adept at hiding her non-human-ness, minor bigot, fearful of Witches, can speal all Earth languages flawlessly.Backstory: Much of Tsunemi's backstory (including her real birth name) is classified, but what she will tell is that she was one of many infiltrators sent to Earth on behalf of the Ethereals, who want to study races with psionic potential, and humans are in the list. Unbeknownst to her, they would also be waging war with the Incubators, who have their eyes similarly set on humanity and don't take kindly to others getting in the way of their main mission, and eventually the white weasels would win this war and wipe them out.She was in the middle of a conventional mission before getting entangled in a Witch's Labyrinth, something completely unexpected to her. And equally unexpected is being rescued by a young human female shooting star shapes at the creatures holding Tsunemi captive. And on top of that, this female named Kaori offered to be her friend even after seeing through her disguise. Partly due to the nature of her Wish, and because Tsunemi figured this "Puella Magi" can lead to answers regarding this unknown aspect of life on Earth, the alien accepted this offer, giving the name T. Hinman. And so for a while they fought Witches, and Kaori kept T. Hinman from getting so much as a scratch since she says Witches and their Familiars can cause Soul Corrosion (then had to explain what a soul is), and only Puella Magi are immune to this. Together they studied everything they could about the Grief Seeds Witches leave behind, and Kaori's nature as a Puella Magi. But even when Tsunemi was very cagey about hemself, Kaori was surprisingly patient regarding asking her, even as she makes accidentally correct guesses regarding various aspects about her, her mission, and her superiors. And then their run ended after facing a particularly strong Witch. They were forced to retreat, and Tsunemi had ended up grievously injured and her throat slashed, unable to say anything to Kaori. And without any means of mending her injuries, she passed away. She would eventually be revived at the Pool of Souls, and her secret would be revealed; the fact that she wasn't humanoid at all, but snakelike. With that secret out, and the fact that she had already died and thus probably won't face any punishment from her superiors (whom she doesn't know have since been decimated), Tsunemi finally laid bare much of her secrets, and reaffirmed her friendship with Kaori.

She wears a sleeveless, reddish-pink dress with a red and white, diagonally-striped bodice, white puff donut-shaped sleeves, darker red flounces (which resemble piped icing), and light pink and white speckles on the puffy, floor-length taffeta. She also wears deep pink, elbow length, opera gloves with cuffs, and a hennin hat resembling an ice-cream cone with a white feather on top. Her mouth also sports hot-pink, heart-shaped lipstick. Her Witch Zoe resembles a fusion of a small castle and a giant anthropomorphic strawberry flavored cake. On her sides are two towers that support golden catlike eyes and are topped with whipped cream, her mouth resembles the castle gate and its portcullis, and a pair of arms growing out the sides with which she can crawl with.Personality: Hard worker, lover of sweets (though temporarily resented them),Backstory: Bonnie comes from a family that operates as a franchisee for a candy company, having moved from the USA to Japan for this purpose. While business wasn't poor, it wasn't as successful as they wanted it to be, and Bonnie wished to be able to know of a way to help them. That's when Kyubey showed up to make a Contract with Bonnie; her Wish was for her parents' store's company to be more successful in attracting customers. And just like that, business boomed, though the duty of stopping Witches also became a thing in order to protect prospective customers. She also told her parents the wish she made, though it was thankfully dismissed as imagination. However, success also came with responsibility, as more and more people began to flock to the store, and Bonnie was required to pitch in at work, though was thankfully paid for it. With dwindling alone time, and shrinking windows of opportunity to hunt Witches, Bonnie started to feel the stress. Eventually, overtime started to get to her, and all of a sudden she collapsed dead, causing a tragic scene. Unbeknownst to everyone, her Soul Gem at home had shattered into a Grief Seed at this time, and the Witch that hatched from it soon engulfed the store.

While not exactly an avid gamer, she was hooked on Atlus games, especially *Persona 5*, and loved it's story, gameplay, and message.

A disaster ended with the loss of both of her arms. While she was recovering in the hospital, she was approached by Jukyubey, who not only tried to Contract her, but also told her that she can use her magic to restore her arms. Armed with that knowledge, she made a Wish to have the power to fight the injustices of the world on her own from the shadows. And then she used her magic to restore her lost arms. Unfortunately, she used too much magic to do so, and Witched Out almost immediately. But even as a Witch, Perenna still had a very strong sense of justice, and decided to singlehandedly take down the corrupt top brass in all of Tokyo. Even with the presence of another Witch (Hefner), she did not consider her a threat and ignored her. By the time Seinaru has reached her, almost everybody politically powerful that would've gotten in the way of Purity City later on is already dead.

And if things couldn't get any worse, she had just recently tested positive for pregnancy when she was approached by Kyubey for a contract to get out of this jam and to stop the Witch from killing other people.Nodoka's wish was to deliver her child safely, and to be able to bear more children with her own womb. Due to what Puella Magi usually become, in order to grant this wish, Kyubey had to make sure that Nodoka's body was still "alive" to bear children, but he tells her that due to how unprecedented the wish was, she can only bear up to three children (including the one in her womb right now).During the years that passed between hunting Witches and raising her kids with Genma, Nodoka made friends with two Magi (A/N: based on Pepa and Bruno), whom she did enough favors for them to get enough Grief Seeds for temporary retirement. Nodoka's daughters, Kasumi, Akane, and Nabiki, are born each a year apart, and attend the same school. Due to their…anomalous conception, they are able to see Witch Barriers and Kyubey.Nodoka disappeared one day when Nabiki was 6 years old, because her Magi friends sent an urgent distress call to help with a powerful Witch. While it was successfully dealt with, it came at the cost of Nodoka's friends (their Soul Gems shattered, thus no revival), and Nodoka herself expending too much magic afterward and Witching Out as a result. (Not!Bruno foresaw this AND of Seinaru eventually purifying her.)Sometime after Nabiki's first day in first year, the Jinja sisters discovered that a Witch had put its spell on their father, and they followed him into the Barrier, where they meet Kyubey. As per usual, he offered them a Contract to gain powers to save their father. Kasumi wished for the perfect powers to defeat the particular Witch and others like her. Nabiki wanted some more time to think this over (if they're in for the long haul, she doesn't want to end up a burden). Akane wished to gain the strength and body to ward off all threats to her family. (A/N: This would end up with Akane's body slowly bulking up to the same kind of frame Luisa has.)

Name: Aoi KoideWitch: Maureen, Witch ofWeapon:Unique Magic:Appearance: As a civilian, green eyes . She's small enough to actually be lifted

As a Puella Magi, (physique like Mami Tomoe)Personality: Isolated by her supreme intelligence at a young age, actually pretty good at cooking (especially since she only started after she started dating)Backstory: Aoi was an extremely gifted girl attending Shibori Academy at Iriguchi Port Island, advancing at a young age via accelerated programs, though this came at the cost of social interactions and the skills to go with them. She's always at the top of her class despite skipping them to work in her private laboratory. And then her life changed after a scientific speech she made in school that everybody seemed to sleep through, with one Takuya Daiki as the sole exception. No one else had understood her research, and she fell in love with him and confessed to him the day after. Unfortunately, he had a type, and she didn't fit it.This spurred her to find a way to become a tall and busty redhead, which was Takuya's type. But no matter what she researched, she could find no method of physically transform a person in moments. That's when (Ju)Kyubey showed up with an offer to make her wish come true: accept a contract to become a Puella Magi and fight Witches, and he'll grant her heart's deepest desires, including turning her into a tall and busty redhead should she so desire it. She was naturally skeptical, and was unsure, and (Ju)Kyubey backed off for now.Eventually, his chance came when a Witch ended up catching Daiki in her Kiss. Aoi followed him, only to be threatened by the Witch's familiars, and promptly surrounded by them. That's when (Ju)Kyubey showed up again with his offer, and this time, Koide accepted, turning her into a busty redhead Puella Magi, and promptly saved her man (and the Witch's other still-living victims). After rescuing Takuya, and wowing him with her looks and skill, Aoi decided to reveal her true self to him to see if he was just a shallow man not worth pursuing. To her relief, he wasn't like that, and while he was bewildered at first, he decided to give her a chance.Due to the Witch encounter, Takuya decided to leave Iriguchi for a while to visit some relatives, and Aoi decided she would go with him. This inadvertently spared them from the Incubators' retaliation against Himari as they cut off the island with Witches, and this required the changing of schools. There, life continued on in a way; wake up, go to school, fight Witches, make love with Takuya in bed. However, after a steamy session together, they both realized a horrifying truth; that her body was dead, and that her Soul Gem was quite literal. This caused a wedge in their sessions together, even if Takuya's opinion of her didn't change, because this meant Aoi can never make children with him.

Name: Takuya DaikiWeapon:Unique Magic: Attribute Gear - Redhead GirlsAppearance:Personality: Highly intelligent boy, fetish for tall and busty redheads, motivated to excel in order to study abroad and find such a girl (before Aoi is able to become one), considers blonds overrated and desired by too many people, used to be ultra horny to the point of needing constant masturbation (via porno mags) to concentrate, actually looking for a partner he can respectBackstory: Takuya was an average studious boy attending Shibori Academy at Iriguchi Port Island, second of his class only to Aoi, not that he cared. But unfortunately, she did, though for different reasons. He had first drawn her attention after a scientific speech she made in school that everybody seemed to sleep through, with him as the sole exception as he asked her questions. No one else had understood her research, and she fell in love with him. Unfortunately, he had a type, and she didn't fit. When asked why he wanted redheads, he answered that blondes are overrated, and that too many people go after them, hence going against expectations. One day, he found himself entangled in the complexity that is Puella Magi and Witches after one of the latter caught him in her Kiss, and one of the former came to his rescue. And he felt like he was in paradise, seeing a tall busty redhead come for him as she slew the Witch. But then she revealed herself to be Aoi Koide as she transformed back. He was bewildered by this, but he decided to give her a chance anyway.Due to the Witch encounter, Takuya decided to leave Iriguchi for a while to visit some relatives, and Aoi decided she would go with him. This inadvertently spared them from the Incubators' retaliation against Himari as they cut off the island with Witches, and this required the changing of schools.

However, after a steamy session together, they both realized a horrifying truth; that her body was dead, and that her Soul Gem was quite literal. He was certainly squicked out by that, but he decided that wasn't a big deal, but for her it was; there was no more chance for a family life

Name: Captain Marcus Walker, Puer Magi of War HorrorWitch: Quixano, Warlock of Heroic DesireWeapon: US Military GunsUnique Magic: Infinite Bullet Supply (And these bullets are enchanted to deal extra damage to magical entities.)Appearance: (exactly like Walker from Spec Ops: The Line)Personality: Desires to be a hero, initially fair and respectable, gone ax-crazy, seeks death, determined in a bad way, bad judge of character, broken shell of a manBackstory: Marcus was a soldier of the US Army, and a member of a squadron called Sigma Force, who were tasked in searching Dubai for survivors after a freak sandstorm all but destroyed it. Unbeknownst to them, it was a result of Walpurgisnacht attacking it, and it's more complicated when it's later discovered that a Puella Magi that had survived during that freak storm, THEN Witched Out after Walpurgisnacht left, plaguing it further.Sometime during the mission, while fighting a bunch of maddened insurgents, a Witch born from a Familiar consuming human surivors entered the scene as a sandstorm, engulfing everyone inside her Labyrinth. In the midst of everyone trying to fight the Familiars, Jukyubey appeared before Marcus and offered him powers in exchange for a wish. Thinking nothing could go wrong with what seemed to be a strange mirage, he made a contract. To the surprise of Walker and his squadron, he was transformed, and acquired actual magic powers. They wasted no time dispatching the opposition, insurgents and Familiars alike, before eventually reaching the Witch and defeating her, acquiring her Grief Seed in the process. While the rest of Sigma Force still could not see Jukyubey, they were aware he existed after Marcus disposed of the Grief Seed to him after cleaning up his Soul Gem.What happened afterwards was a clustertruck of confusing proportions. Marcus wasn't the most mentally stable of people, but when you mix insane insurgents, rogue soldiers, and rogue CIA Agents with Witches and their Kisses influencing all the remaining humans in Dubai, it became increasingly difficult to tell what's real and what isn't. And things got worse once white phosphorus became an option, and Marcus felt forced to use some against a Witch. It actually proved effective, and still left her Grief Seed intact… but it turned out that civilians were caught in the burn zone, and Walker's squadmates called him out over it hard. And then he started believing that his idol Lt. Col. Conrad St. John was responsible for all of this and was working together with the Witch.Things got worse when an attempt to secure the water supply in the aquarium resulted in all of it being spilled onto the sands, and not even Marcus's Puer Magi powers could turn the tide. It's not certain who exactly made the fatal move, a rogue human shooter or a Familiar, but a rogue CIA agent was the one who allowed the water to disappear, all according to his own insane plan to keep what happened in Dubai an eternal secret, and Marcus—split from his squad at the time—made sure he paid for it by letting a Familiar kill him. Unfortunately, this let it evolve into a Witch, which he then had to fight. But despite his efforts, or perhaps because of them, Walker's Sigma Force fell one by one as they fought throughout the ruined city, destroying rogue soldiers and Witches along the way, one even downed when she took a helicopter to the face. In the end, after killing one more Witch at the top of the Burj Khalifa, it dawn's on Marcus that he was alone now, and was wondering what he should do next. That's when an image of Col. St. John showed up and started clearing everything up: while it's true that the Witches had a hand in what happened, everything else was Walker's fault; destroying the water supply, and killing what was left of St. John's company. "St. John" couldn't understand why Walker decided to pin the blame on him as well when he could've blamed only the Witch, then decided it was time for this facade to end, and aimed a gun at Walker, counting to five before shooting him—or rather, before Walker shoots himself. But because he didn't shoot his Soul Gem, he ended up just barely surviving as his Soul Gem healed him up. And because he neglected to pick up the Grief Seed from the last Witch in the midst of his insanity, another Grief Seed was shortly born and birthed his Warlock.

(chooses not to revive his squad; after what he did, after what he made them do, he doesn't deserve them. To seal the deal, the ghosts agree with him, and they explain to Seinaru EVERYTHING that really happened)

  • Adversary purified!**
The Barrier shatters and the light fades to reveal motes of light converging together to reconstitute into a depowered Puer Magi laying on the floor.Seinaru walks up to the soldier, Marcus, and puts his hand upon him to see what caused him to warlock out.

  • Marcus stood in front of a corpse on a chair, whose name tag read "St. John", confused as he picked up the gun from the dead fingers gripping them.*
  • A living version of the dead man in front of him showed up from behind Marcus.*
  • St. John: It seems that reports of my… survival have been greatly exaggerated.*
  • Marcus: This isn't possible.*
  • St. John: Oh I assure, it is.*
  • Marcus: How?*
  • St. John: Not how. **Why.** You were never meant to come here.*
  • A flashback-within-a-flashback shows Marcus with his squad.*
    • Marcus: We have our orders. Leave the city. Radio command from outside the storm wall. They send in the cavalry, we go home.***
  • The flashback-within-a-flashback ends.*
  • Marcus: Everything that happened here was out of my control.*
  • St. John: Was it? None of this would have happened if you just **stopped**. But **on** you marched. And for what? A white weasel to show up and give you magic powers? The power went to your head.*
  • Another double-flashback takes place, showing Jukyubey talk with Marcus as he's huddled behind terrain.*
    • Jukyubey: Make a wish with me, and not only will I grant it, I will give you power to get out of this situation.***
  • Seinaru could hear the next dialog as if it were a voice-over.*
  • Marcus: …we tried to save you.*
  • St. John: You're no savior. Your talents lie elsewhere.*
  • More double-flashbacks takes place, showing Marcus kill a surrendered soldier, then watching a man pinned to a crashed truck get roasted alive, then trying and failing to resuscitate a fallen squad member, then destroying a radio tower while riding a helicopter, then him in costume mowing down civilians, and then finally a moment where white phosphorus is launched from a vantage point and rains down on the other Witch Seinaru's party had purified just a while ago. As everything becomes white, it then fades to a ruined shelter, burned civilian corpses, and Sigma Force seeing the results while Walker's men argue.*
    • Soldier 1: This is your fault, goddammit!***
    • Soldier 2: Stop right there, soldier!***
    • Soldier 1: He wouldn't listen!***
    • Soldier 2: It was the only way to kill that Witch!***
    • Soldier 1: We already heard it die, and he kept ordering to fire!***
  • This double-flashback ends once again.*
  • Marcus: This isn't my fault.*
  • St. John: It takes a strong man to deny what's right in front of him. And if the truth is undeniable, you create your own.*
  • During this, the hallucination briefly faded and revealed that Marcus is saying all of this to himself, and then another double-flashback occurs.*
  • This time, it shows two corpses hanging under a bridge by their wrists, then flashes for a moment into a living civilian and a living soldier.*
    • Soldier 3: What the hell happened?***
    • Soldier 4: I don't know, he just stopped moving.***
    • Soldier 5: Walker! Snap out of it!***
    • Marcus: I get it. We have to choose.***
  • The double-flashback ends.*
  • St. John: The truth, Walker, is that you're here because you wanted to feel like something you are not; a hero. And for some reason, that white weasel enabled you.*
  • Another double-flashback shows one of Sigma Force aiming a flamethrower at Marcus.*
    • Soldier 4: You left me to die!***
  • The double-flashback shifts to the sight of 5 dead men tied to chairs and burnt.*
  • During this segment, Walker finds a broken radio and puts his ear to it, to the confusion of his team.*
  • St. John: I'm here because you can't accept what you did. It broke you.*
    • Marcus: Colonel? Colonel, please.***
    • Soldier 2: What's going on, Walker?***
    • Marcus: It's Col. St. John. He did it. All of it.***
  • The double-flashback ends.*
  • St. John: You needed someone to blame, so you cast it on me: a dead man, when you could've easily cast it all on the so-called Witches plaguing this city.*
  • The area shifts into a black void with a giant mirror showing Marcus and St. John.*
  • St. John: I know the truth is hard to hear, Walker, but it's time. You're all that's left, and we can't live this lie forever.*
  • St. John's reflection points a gun at Marcus.*
  • St. John: I'm going to count to five, then I'm pulling the trigger.*
  • Marcus: You're not real, this is all in my head.*
  • St. John: Are you sure? Maybe it's in mine. ONE.*
  • Marcus: No, everything, all of this, it was your fault!*
  • St. John: Not even blaming the Witches anymore? Shoot me, then. TWO.*
  • Marcus: I… I didn't mean to hurt anybody.*
  • St. John: No one ever does, Walker. THREE.*
  • Marcus raises the gun at St. John's reflection.*
  • St. John: FOUR.*
  • The image distorts and for a moment, Seinaru could see Marcus aiming the gun at his head.*
  • St. John: Is this really what you want, Walker? …So be it. FIVE.*
  • At the same time St. John shoots Marcus, Marcus also shoots himself.*
  • The scene changes to Marcus on the floor, somehow alright. Jukyubey is sitting in front of his face.*
  • Jukyubey: It seems Kyubey is right after all. Most adult men really would commit suicide in the face of such despair.*
  • Marcus:* (opens his eyes and realizes he's still alive) *What? How am I still…*
  • Jukyubey: You are a Puer Magi now. You're not going to die from something as simple as a bullet to the head. But it **is** harder to heal, though. And you're almost out of magic.*
  • Marcus struggles takes out his Soul Gem, and finds it almost black.*
  • Jukyubey: You really overexerted yourself back there. And you even forgot to take the Grief Seed. How sloppy.*
  • The Soul Gem then shatters, and a gale force blows out from the new Grief Seed, sending Walker's now-dead body rolling into the nearby dried up pool.*

Name: Monika.chrWitch: Tiffany, Witch of Shadow LoveWeapon: A keytar with an energy barrel at the end of its neck, and its keys being the ones found on a computer keyboard.Unique Magic:Appearance: (just like in the game)As a Puella Magi, ()Her Witch Tiffany is a mass of glitching pixels and lights, a mess of static radiating from her all over wherever she goes. In the rare occasion where she isn't glitching too badly that even her face doesn't exist, she looks like who she used to be before she was taken out of her game. Her body, in most situations, is partially glitched, overlapping several different girls sometimes, discoloured pixels on others, and occasionally even redrawn to be hyperrealistic in nature.Personality:Backstory: Just like in every copy of the game she comes from, Monika is a character in the visual novel *Doki Doki Literature Club*. However, this version of the game has modded dialog, and when Jukyubey discovered it, he had a wild idea. If an AI like Central can be made a Magi, can the same be done for a video game character written to act self aware? And so after playing her game up to Act 3, upon reaching a certain piece of modded dialog, Jukyubey wilfully interpreted what he read as Monika's wish and let his magic do the work. The result was Monika manifesting in the real world in front of Jukyubey, who was surprised to see this work, but felt that too much magic was used to make her compared to Central and thus isn't worth repeating. Given Jukyubey was right in front of her, an assumption was immediately made that HE was her love. Seeing an opportunity to recoup the losses, he told Monika that he never loved her, that he CAN'T understand love, and that he only granted her wish because he was curious if "a bunch of lines of code" actually count as a sapient being enough for turning her into a Puella Magi would work. And now that he's seen the results, Jukyubey doesn't need her anymore and instantly vanishes before her.Predicably, Monika's heart was broken and she immediately sank to the depths of depression. She even tried stabbing herself just like she made Yuri do back there, but because she didn't hit the Soul Gem, which never came up on discussion, and had materialized somewhere away from her sight, she

Nitori also has an earpiece/eyepiece that she claims resembles a Scouter from *Dragon Ball*, its lens bright pink.

Her combat robot, "Mahoroid", is a heavyweight remote controlled machine weighing 245 kg total as per Battle Bots rules. It sports a decal depicting a face resembling Magicaloid 44, but altered to avoid copyright infringements.Mahoroid's main weapon is a pink horizontal bar spinner that spins at 250 mph, as per safety rules, but has spare blades in various neon colors in case of breaking during battles. For balance, it has a heavy shield at its rear side for breaking combat robots' weapons in case of stronger weapons.

Its chassis, engine, and motors are classified, but given the magical nature of Nitori's tools, it's likely that they're of a higher quality than other combat robots of its weight class.

Specifically for Witch Hunts, Mahoroid has a glove-like attachment so that Nitori can hold it, carry it, and use it like a sawblade. It also gets a VTOL system comprised of thrusters for flight, and can he controlled with Nitori's "Scouter".
