Sandbox for TLP draft Harry Copier. Will send to Cut List when proposal is posted.

Harry Potter picked up steam in popularity around the 2000s. Something about children attending a magical school stuck with people, to such an extent that the series is often looked upon with nostalgia in the same vein as other series such as Warrior Cats.

This, of course, has led to parodies of not just the books themselves, but also the books' author, J. K. Rowling, in appearance, accent and career. Oftentimes, these parodies twist the author, making her out to be deranged or evil depending on the work with the parody. Rowling has also parodied herself in a few instances.

  • Odd Squad: W.W. Williams, an author featured in "How to Interrogate a Unicorn", shares quite a few similar traits with Rowling, including the accent, the blonde hair, and the career of being an author who writes fantasy stories. About the only similarity they don't share is that Williams hasn't written any books about sorcerers, which Harry Potter is chock-full of.
