Only the dead have seen the end of war.

ClassicMasterNoob is a Roblox developer well known for his game Dead Ahead, a naval based game similar to other Roblox games like Galleons and World of Warships as a non-Roblox example. The game also has a surprisingly detailed lore full of world-building and stories which is uncommon for many Roblox games.

His latest and currently prioritized game is Centaura, a Battlefield 1 inspired game originally created on February 5th, 2022 as a game called Gridlock. It was created as a multiplayer WW1-styled side-game to Dead Ahead, with the game taking place in the same universe and lore as Dead Ahead. The latter was later sidelined by ClassicMasterNoob and his developers & contributors to focus on the now renamed Centaura, this being a name for the fictional continent the game is based in.

Centaura contains examples of:

  • A Million Is a Statistic: When a map is finished, the amount of players killed in the map is listed in the end screen.
  • Carry a Big Stick: All classes except the Flametrooper and Officer carry a club which, due to the fact that all melee weapons instantly kill players, can easily clean up enemies in close quarters and also has splash damage, allowing you to clear out trenches effectively.
  • Combat Medic: The Medic class is equipped with a rifle and a club, meaning they're as capable as regular riflemen. That being said, there is an actual achievement where you must heal 30 teammates without killing any enemy.
  • Death from Above: On most maps, uncontrollable artillery fire will occur either continuously or a set time, brutally and mercilessly killing anything and anyone unfortunate enough to be struck by an artillery shell, even killing players on the team the artillery fire is from. On maps like Capri Valley, this is the intended way for teams to get ground due to the nature of the maps.
  • Fire-Breathing Weapon: The Flametrooper class is naturally equipped with the flamethrower, a devastating weapon that can easily clear out hordes of enemies. However, it has a slight delay when it fires and has a cooldown after firing.
  • Pretext for War: Zigzagged. While Corvus did just straight up invade Cetus without a declaration of war or any other warning, their reasoning for attacking
  • Suave Sabre: All officers get a sabre, which has a range slightly bigger than the club. The design of the sabre is dependent on the nation of the officer.
  • War Is Hell: Centaura makes no attempt to glorify war and instead does the exact opposite, with this game being ripe full of moments that can easily and genuinely scare you even if it's a video game and not real. People blowing up in front of you, people screaming for a medic, and the screaming of those on fire.
  • Worldbuilding: Quite a high amount of lore and background is shown off in this game, even giving brief backstories for how the Southern Corvus War (the war that started Centaura) started. While most of the lore is not entirely in game, the rest in Centaura and Dead Ahead's Discord server and lore document, it is much more than what other Roblox games provide.
