A (long since dead) roleplay over in the Wiki/TVTropes forum that was run by a succession of [=GMs=] (chronologically: Tropers/TheGreatPiesAlt, Tropers/CyganAngel, then Tropers/SabresEdge, Tropers/StephanReiken and Tropers/{{Legionnaire}}), ''Kingdom Hearts: Twilight of the Stars'' takes place in its namesake universe, after the end of ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsII''. It's been a year since Sora and Co's final showdown with Xehanort himself, a fight that resulted in heavy sacrifices to finally gain victory. But in the wake of Xehanort's defeat has risen a new group, known only as the Men and Women in White. Strong enough to command the remaining Heartless and Nobody hordes, the two groups have been locked in a struggle for several months now, and the Heroes are slowly losing ground to their new foes.

The player characters, on the other hand, have been running about worlds trying to get everything in order. With several run-ins with both Heroes and Villains under their belt and the strange inability to manage to stay together for any length of time, it's up to the [=PCs=] to tip the delicate balance of power.
