Now, alongside her best friend Rainbow Dash, she tracks down the cards, often butting heads with her rival Edward Elric and his childhood friend/cousin Ariel , all while trying to keep this new life of hers a secret from her family (consisting of her father, and her brother Toji Suzuhara) and her crush Light Yagami. In time, she even meets the magician who created the cards and his reincarnation 9.
• Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc: Ren Hoek forces several people (including Osaka, Agent Scully and Trunks) to kill each other. The mastermind behind all this is Bubbles.
• Death Note: Daggett kills people by writing their names into a notebook dropped by Father Cornello. Eventually Shinji Ikari learns about Dag's secret.
• Fullmetal Alchemist (2003): Brothers Kon and Tails go on a quest to reclaim their bodies after a failed attempted to revive their mother. They are followed by Batman.

• Futari wa Pretty Cure: Disgust and Draculaura are a duo of magical girls.
• Hunter × Hunter (2011):^note The 1999 series was never dubbed in German Taiga Aisaka sets off to become a Hunter and find her father. She takes the Hunter exam with defusing child assassin Minoru Mineta, revenge-seeking sole survivor Tecna, aspiring doctor Debito, and monster clown Rami Malek.
  • In the movies, Bubbles was trying to find her father and Carmen Sandiego was the defusing tyke bomb.
• Neon Genesis Evangelion (first dub): Three unstable teens— shy Garcia Lovelace, brash Kallen Stadtfeld, and seemingly emotionless Winry Rockbell —are forced by ruthless leader Colonel Shikishima to battle "Angels" while under the command of Miss Yukari.
• Paranoia Agent: Elizabeth Swann, who works for Heiji Hattori, comes across strange phenomena centering around Edward Elric, a mysterious boy with a baseball bat.
• Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time & Darkness: A Piplup meets Sheldon the Chimchar.
• Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Rarity fulfills other girls' whishes by making a contract with them. The Great and Powerful Trixie tries to stop her from making a contract with Applejack.
