Film

  • Bloody Mallory: one of Mallory's allies is a psychic little girl called Talking Tina who resembles a doll and speaks without opening her mouth.
  • Child's Play: Word of God is that the episode was a key inspiration for the movie; indeed, like the original episode the film takes quite a while being ambiguous whether Chucky is truly alive or not.
  • Toy Story 4: Gabby Gabby was inspired by Talky Tina.

Music

  • The video for The Linda Lindas' song "Talking to Myself" was inspired by the "Living Doll" episode of The Twilight Zone. It was shot in black and white, and the text uses a font identical to the series. The band members receive a quartet of dolls and spend a whole day doing fun things with the dolls—shopping for records and clothes, going to the park— but exclude the dolls when it's time to practice. Angry about the exclusion, the dolls hijack the practice room and end up attacking the girls, leaving them bloody and bruised.

Western Animation

  • Johnny Bravo: In an episode where all three segments parody The Twilight Zone, the third segment parodies "Living Doll".
  • The Simpsons: The "Treehouse of Horror III" segment "Clown Without Pity" spoofs "Living Doll", with a murderous Talking Krusty the Clown doll taking on the role of Talky Tina. (Though given that the Krusty doll, moves, walks, and wields weapons against Homer, there seems to be a bit of Trilogy of Terror in there as well.)
