  • One sidequest in BoxxyQuest: The Gathering Storm features a small cameo by an adventurer and his disgruntled follower, who says she's only there because she’s “sworn to carry that guy’s burdens.”
  • The Mobile Phone Game Beauties Battle tutorial references taking an arrow to the knee.
  • In Fallout 4, Raiders may complain of taking a bullet in the knee, a reference to taking an arrow to the knee.
  • In Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, you can find an Iron Helmet on a desk. Functionally, it is an unique armor powerup.
  • The snowy area of Enderal contains a corpse with arrows in the legs, lying next to a note referencing the "arrow to the knee" meme. In the Steam version, reading the note grants an achievement named "We're Sorry".note 
  • MapleStory makes a reference to an arrow in the knee as well as introducing a race of human-dragon hybrids called the Nova(rather close to "Dovah") shortly after Skyrim was released.

    • The Swearborn, one of the protagonists from the Mid-Review Sketches when the current theme is fantasy, is an Expy of the Dragonborn, and first appeared in sequences parodying Skyrim; his Thu'um consists in yelling swearwords.note  The Old Sage, another character from the sames sequences, first appeared as fullfilling the role of Arngeir.
    • When reviewing Super Little Fanta Heroes, Fred points the cast of protagonists is a very confusing Massive Multiplayer Crossover. He then shows an extract from a fight scene, while the text "when you modded Skyrim too much" appears on the scene.
  • Belkinus Necro Hunt: Nathaniel references the "You're finally awake" line in session 1. It even made sense in content, to the point the DM gave him an advantage.
