Go Onizuka confronts Revolver and challenges him to a Duel. Meanwhile, the Tower of Hanoi is getting closer to completion, gradually absorbing everything in LINK VRAINS...
This episode contains the following tropes:
- Beam-O-War: Topologic Bomber Dragon and Gouki Thunder Ogre have a brief one before the latter is destroyed due to the effect of Revolver's Link Protection.
- Deliberate Injury Gambit: Inverted. GO Summons Gouki Shadow Ogre to the Main Monster Zone pointed to by Topologic Bomber Dragon's Upper Link Arrow, which would trigger the latter's Effect... except the Linked Shadow Ogre negates Bomber Dragon's Effect and destroys it. This backfires on GO, however, after Revolver ensures that his opponent can only attack while having a number of Link Monsters equal to Bomber Dragon's Link Rating, and uses Mirror Force to destroy all of them after GO attempts to defeat Revolver in a single turn.
- Disney Villain Death: Subverted. Playmaker tumbles into the abyss below the crumbling bridge (the same one he Dueled Spectre on), only to be blown back up by a Data Storm.
- Foreshadowing: Playmaker ponders why Revolver is feeling confident despite having no Monsters while GO's Field is swarmed with Gouki Link Monsters, and later concludes that Revolver has a Set card which will break GO's resolve.
- For Happiness: GO vows to protect LINK VRAINS so the orphanage children can continue to smile.
- One-Hit Kill: Defied. GO attempts to deplete all of Revolver's LP in a single turn with his Gouki Link Monsters, only for all of them to be destroyed by Revolver's Mirror Force.
- The Reveal: The same unknown Trap Card Revolver used against Ghost Girl turns out to be Mirror Force.
- Smug Smiler: Revolver cracks a smirk after destroying all of GO's Monsters with Mirror Force.
- Wham Shot: Revolver revealing the unknown Trap he used against Ghost Girl, which turns out to be Mirror Force.
