Recap / Yu Gi Oh VRAINS Ep 38 Hanois Collection

Go To

As the Tower of Hanoi gradually approaches its completion, Revolver reflects on the battles that had been waged in LINK VRAINS. And now, carrying on the wishes of Dr. Kogami with firm resolve, Revolver makes his move...

This episode contains the following tropes:

  • Blatant Lies: When Kogami asks Revolver if he has had any success of finding out Playmaker's real world identity, Revolver denies knowing anything. Cue flashback of Revolver seeing Yusaku in the footage taken from Baira's apartment and him slasher-smiling at the sight.
  • Character Narrator: Unlike previous episode previews, Revolver does the narration for this episode's preview.
  • It's All My Fault: Revolver blames his obsession with Playmaker's real identity for the downfall of the Three Lieutenants of Hanoi.
  • Recap Episode: Revolver retells the Knights of Hanoi's activity (minus Spectre's Duels with Blue Angel and Playmaker) up to this point from his perspective.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Inverted. Revolver vows to not allow Spectre's sacrifice to go to waste after the latter's defeat at the hands of Playmaker.
