Yuya's duel with Michio Mokota (Reed Pepper) continues as Yoko, Yuya's mother arrives to give him a late breakfast, a modified form of Michio's recipe for pancakes. Energized by the food, Yuya continues the duel against Michio, who is angry someone would change his perfect recipes. Yuya is able to find a loophole in Michio's combo to return his monsters to his hand, and is able to overcome him. Michio accepts that there is no perfect recipe in cooking or dueling, and resolves to continue to improve in both.
