Tropes

  • Blow You Away: Kal knocks Amarice unconscious merely by blowing her away with his breath.
  • Came Back Wrong: Xena. The first sign was the fact that she couldn't even remember what to call her chakram. It was then the others discovered she doesn't even know how to fight.
  • Evolving Weapon: The chakram, now known as the Balanced Chakram. It can be split in half and both pieces can be thrown the same way. The pieces themselves can be used as a Dual Wielding weapon. Overall, it's an upgrade from the first weapon.
  • Identity Amnesia: Xena's new personality is completely devoid of her dark side.
  • Immortal Breaker: Whoever can wield the Light Chakram can use it to kill any being, even immortal gods.
  • Kill the God: Xena uses the Light Chakram to slay Kal. Still suffering from amnesia, she only used this to save Gabrielle rather than any intent to kill him.
  • Light/Darkness Juxtaposition: As seen in the Light and Dark Chakrams.
  • Love Confession: Joxer finally declares his love to Gabrielle, a declaration three seasons in the making.
  • Mook Lieutenant: The Fat Arse Guard, who is both more than a match than Amarice and Gabrielle.
  • Only the Pure of Heart: Only someone without darkness in their hearts can wield the Light Chakram without dying. Luckily for the amnesiac Xena, she fits the bill.
  • PG Explosives: Gabrielle and Amarice use bombs to dispatch the Fat Arse Guard and some other guards, but it only sends them flying.
  • Punched Across the Room: A single punch from the Fat Arse Guard sent Amarice flying into a tree.
  • Tightrope Walking: Amarice attempts to reach the castle by walking on rope connected with an arrow from the wall to the building.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Joxer puts up his best performance yet against a couple of guards.
  • War God: Ares obviously, but also Kal, Italia's God of War.
