Alex gets caught in a riptide while surfing using a surf board fitted with a webcam. Scott goes out to rescue him, but a huge storm threatens both their lives.

- Actually Pretty Funny: Although he's embarrassed when Professor X pranks him by making his image inducer give him a woman's body, Kurt laughs along with him, Scott, and Jean, clearly amused that even Charles is Not So Above It All.
- Not So Above It All: After Kurt messes with his image inducer, Charles pranks him by making it show him with a woman's body.
- Temporary Bulk Change: Kurt messes with his image inducer until it starts fritzing out. At first, he deliberately uses it to make himself look huge and muscular. After he breaks it, the inducer suddenly makes him look as fat as Blob, then makes him look like his regular size but with a huge head.
