  • Animal Species Accent: Sylvia is a cow who often says "moo" in her sentences.
  • Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering?:
Malik: Zeke, are you thinking what we think you're thinking?

  • Cool Train: The Moo Moo Choo Choo is a big, colorful steam train with decorative cow horns on top.
  • Covered in Mud: The episode's Running Gag is Mr. E getting covered in mud.
  • "Good Luck" Gesture: Everyone crosses their paws and claws, hoping that the hot air balloon will successfully clear up all the mud.
  • Group Hug: Malik, Zadie, Zeke, Super, and Sylvia do a group hug after the Moo Moo Choo Choo train is freed from the mud.
  • Hidden First Act Parallel: The beginning of the episode revolves around Super using a vacuum to clean up a mess of strawberry pudding. Later on, this gets brought up again when the wombats get the idea to suck up all of the mud.
  • I Meant to Do That: When Mr. E crashes into a mud puddle on his way to greet the Moo Moo Choo Choo, he says he meant to do that.
  • Jump Rope Blunders: Ellie tries to teach Mr. E how to jump rope, but he gets tangled in the rope.
  • Just Train Wrong: The Moo Moo Choo Choo can run without any tracks.
  • Rhyming Title: "Moo Moo" and "Choo Choo" rhyme.
  • Running Gag: Throughout the episode, Mr. E keeps getting covered in mud.
  • Steam Never Dies: The Moo Moo Choo Choo is a steam train in a modern setting.
  • Sympathetic Wince: Ellie does this when Mr. E lands into a mud puddle for the first time.

"Lake Bellyflop": The wombats attempt to locate Lake Bellyflop.

"Lake Bellyflop" contains the following tropes:

  • Filthy Fun: When the wombats first try to find the lake, they find a mud pit. Zeke has fun playing in it anyway.
  • Hidden Depths: The wombats are surprised to find out that Mr. E likes to dance.
  • Old Friend: Towards the end of the episode, Super runs into her old friend, Beatrice Beaver, again. Beatrice had been gone for years because she was traveling the world.
  • Trail Of Breadcrumbs: In order to remember the path to the lake, the wombats mark the path with rocks. It doesn't work, since there are already so many rocks on the trail. They then decide to use flower petals instead, but those blow away.
