"Weird at last! Weird at last! God almighty, weird at last! Welcome to Night Vale."
A large pyramid appears out of nowhere with a message to send, despite the Sheriff’s Secret Police's efforts to destroy and/or deny the existence of it. Cecil suspects it to be a publicity stunt pulled by local cereal company Flaky-Os (even after the company repeatedly denies this).
Tropes present in PYRAMID include:
- Shaped Like Itself: "[The pyramid] has been described as a sort of triangle-shape, but three-dimensional."
- Thoughtcrime: Cecil searching "Dog Park" on Audible.com results in a bright red screen reading "thoughtcrime".
"Today's Proverb: “Nice bolo tie!” is the greatest compliment a person can ever receive."
