    Arc 1: Dosage

  • 1.1: Amateur capes Chosinseong (Supernova), a powersuit tinker, Daiamondeu, a social thinker, and Geobukseon (Turtle ship), a master/blaster whose power is channeled through his metallic minion, are recruited by Nathan Park, intermediary for a mysterious benefactor seeking to start a mercenary team with a moral code. He sets them the task of taking out the Keunsan Stalker, a local cape serial killer targeting civilians. Before that, however, they have to establish a base of operations, and they set their sights on a building currently run as a meth lab in the territory of the King-Wangjjang, a gang made up of young computer nerds who aren't seen as serious threats.
  • 1.2: The group meets the KWJ at their headquarters, an internet cafe called Jonmok, and some of their capes: leader LCD, Jiral (Bullshit), Crash, and Short Circuit. The group cuts a deal with the irreverent teens—a cut of the proceeds from the area and a favor owed—and decide on the name DOWNFALL for themselves.
  • 1.3: In their first combat encounter, DOWNFALL clears out the bar of methheads and rename it RUNWAY, a business clearly tied to their cape identities. Renovations are underway!
  • 1.4: The gang gets a visit from Nate to check their progress and starts to recruit their first henchmen. Geobukseon visits his friend, chop shop owner Qin Xinya, from whom he recruits the strong and flirtatious Qin Ling and the thrill-seeking and sneaky Sang Hyun-soo. Meanwhile, Chosinseong and Daiamondeu win over ambitious street punk Kim Min-joo, who brings her own underlings with her in exchange for being made the gang's lieutenant.
  • 1.5: With a base and subordinates now taken care of, DOWNFALL is ready to take on the Keunsan Stalker. After doing some illicit research in the police's files, Chosin finds out that the Stalker is some kind of hydrokinetic. Staking out his usual stalking grounds in a subway station, they find him in an altercation with a victim who turned out to be a parahuman, who then assists them in taking him down. Once the Stalker is taken care of, DOWNFALL opt to recruit the parahuman, a shapeshifting changer with a sluggy base form, Jogabi (Shell).
