The Bears win a tour of the infamous Googs corporate headquarters.
Tropes:
- All Just A Simulation: It turns out that the bears didn't take off their headsets the first time, and everything that happened after was still virtual reality. Ari says that it was for research purposes, but the bears are not amused with what they just went through.
- Bittersweet Ending: Even though the horrifying climax of Panda sacrificing himself to save his brothers from the sun were all a virtual reality simulation, the Bears are still traumatized by the events because they sincerely thought they almost died and angrily vow to never come back to Googs. It doesn't help that the real Ari Curd innocently treats the situation like it's no big deal since it was experimental.
- The Cameo: BMO is one of the robots seen in the Googs lab.
- Dude, Not Funny!: In universe, the bears are not happy about unknowingly experiencing a simulation where they are sent to space and Panda ends up going into the sun. They decide not to continue with the tour.
- Hard Light: In the climax, Shmorby the mascot summons a pair of virtual hands that can physically grab Panda to prevent him from leaving the rocket. This part foreshadows that it's all just a VR simulation that the bears are experiencing.Panda: How are you touching me?! You're virtual!
Ari Curd: With Googs' Real Feel technology, our holograms are essentially physical objects.
Shmorby: I can feel pain! - Heroic Sacrifice: When the rocket was flying towards the sun, the escape pod wasn't big enough for all three bears to fit. After Grizz and Ice Bear enter, Panda closes the pod doors and launches it, and gives what he believes to be his final message to his bros while he stays behind. Turns out the whole thing was a simulation.
- Jerkass Has a Point: While Panda snapping at his brothers wasn't the nicest thing possible, he was right when pointing out that they were breaking various expensive equipment and ruining the tour.
- Shout-Out:
- As Panda is about to crash into the Sun, a Suspiciously Similar Song to "Starman" by David Bowie plays in the background.
- "Googs" and its production shot are literally a shout out to Google.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: The bears didn't know that the virtual reality didn't really end and thought that everything that happened after that, including unwillingly being sent into space, almost crashing into the sun, and Panda staying behind and dying because there was no room for him in the escape pod, were all real. So when they find out that it was just a simulation, they are understandably unhappy about it and decide not to continue with the tour, especially when Ari treats it as if it wasn't that important.
