The Baby Bears build a giant sandcastle. But when some kids declare war on the Bears, they must fight to defend their new home.

- Big Sister Bully: Darla's older sisters. They constantly boss her around and tell her not to make them look bad by hanging around "garbage".
- Chekhov's Gun: The pelicans taking bread out of people's hands. Panda uses them to defeat the girls by throwing the rest of their bread at them so they're attacked by the pelicans.
- Dumpster Dive: Ice Bear finds an unopened bag of bread in a garbage can.
- Lampshade Hanging: When Grizz says goodbye to Darla, he mentions they'll never see her again, just like everyone else the baby bears met.
- Palatial Sandcastle: The Baby Bears build a large, ornate sandcastle to live in. After they defend it from the girls, they think it will be able to withstand anything, until a huge wave obliterates it in one hit.
- Tempting Fate: After his first crush leaves, Panda hopes this isn't the beginning of a pattern.
