Tigerclaw has a nightmare of flames engulfing the camp, and is awakened by Runningwind. Redtail assigns him and Ravenpaw to patrol with Graypaw and Lionheart, and the four cats check the border of Twolegplace, since they've been picking up kittypet scents recently. As they patrol, Tigerclaw smells and hears fire and panics, thinking that the Twolegplace is on fire, but the others reassure him that there's nothing on the other side of the fence but a sleeping ginger kittypet.
