Recap / Veep S 4 E 7 Testimony

Go To

The staff gives their testimony to find out who exactly was responsible for the data breach and the lobbying.

Key figures in the Meyer administration are called to testify before Congress about the Families First Bill.

Ben is first to testify, where he lets slip that Dan was not actually responsible for the HIV girl data breach.

Dan, Amy, and Jonah testify together about their actions around Families First. Dan and Amy attempt to explain the difference between lobbyists and consultants, while the committee gets sidetracked over a document full of insulting nicknames for Jonah (the "Jonad files").

Leigh Patterson testifies that she (and by extension Dan) were fired to cover up the use of child mortality data for the "I Care" mailer.

Selina: If you'll excuse me, I have to call the President of Africa... South Africa.

    • Mike didn't realize that deleting the voice memos from his phone did not delete them from the cloud.
