Beginning of the End
Immediately after their battle with Spring, Fuuko is stabbed through the chest by Ruin, a negator who desires to enact God's will. The Union quickly acts to save her life, but soon learn their actions have had unforeseen consequences as the end looms.

Tropes:
- Advancing Boss of Doom: Ruin, Seal, and Sun all serve as one. Their goal is the destruction of the Ark to prevent another loop and thanks to their powers, none are capable of being held back for long.
- Authority Equals Asskicking: Juiz. She manages to hold off Sun for five minutes using Rebellion, keeping them at bay more than anyone else present. After she dies, even a newly enraged Rebellion-fused Victor with the combined forces of the other negators barely manages three.
- Bittersweet Ending: The combined forces of the Union and Under succeed in holding off Sun, Seal, and Ruin, allowing Fuuko to loop but Ragnarok still happens. Everyone aside from Fuuko and Andy perish as the Earth is crumbles under Sun's assault.
- Cavalry Betrayal: Rip and Latla initially help free Andy from Seal's clutches but only so they can force him to relinquish his points so they can ride the Ark.
- Enemy Mine: While having fought not just a week prior, both the Union and Under team up to help Fuuko loop as God's forces are determined to destroy the Ark before it activates.
- Heads I Win, Tails You Lose: Even though the Union succeeded in neutralizing/killing the seasonal UMA and won the Quests the Earth begins moving towards the Sun, as if they had received the penalty of UMA Revolution anyway due to the deaths of three of the seasons. Considering this is God where talking about it's not surprising he rigged the game in his favor.
- Race Against the Clock: After killing 3 of the 4 seasonal UMA, the Earth beings moving towards the Sun and will collide with it in 3 months, although it's shown the Earth will likely not survive until then.
- After the Ark activates, all the remaining negators except Ruin and Anno Un hold off God's forces from destroyed the Ark to prevent the loop. Each seat on the roundtable means another minute, equaling 11 minutes total, which is an exceptionally long time when Sun themself has shown up to the fight.
- Rogue Agent: The Union and Under continue working together after the world starts heading towards the Sun, but Rip and Latla continue with their original goal to ride the Ark. Since Juiz gave up the ability to do so, their next target is Andy.
- Stopped Caring: With the end of the world nigh, Andy starts killing UMA without concern to the changes it causes the world. Luna tries to have him stop through appealing to Juiz, but she can't stop him either. This results in God calling down an UMA specifically to seal him away, since he can't die.
- The Lost Lenore: Ichico Nemuri is this for Nico. Despite being surrounded by the other negators and having a daughter, he never got over his wife's death. This is not helped by having Unforgettable which only preserves the memories after he acquired his power. Ruin and UMA Ghost use this to manipulate him into betraying the Union
- The Reveal: The concept of 'regulators' for both UMA and negators. With both groups having gone against God's wishes in some fashion, Ruin and Seal are meant to be kings of their respective groups and enact God's will.
- Luna, another god is connected to the Ark. The loops are a conflict between her and Sun. She chose the artifacts and negators, while Sun chose the UMA. Despite this, she shows no care for the negators or their suffering and only marvels at their efforts against Sun.
- The Smart One Turns Traitor: Nico destroys the UMA delaying the end of the world after UMA Ghost makes a deal with it to get his wife Ichico's soul in exchange for Andy's.
- Regretful Traitor: After Ghost betrays him after taking over his body and then using Fuuko's soul as a shield, Nico forcibly reasserts control. Then he moves her soul out of the way and leaves them both open for Andy to strike them down.
- Wham Episode: The very first chapter of the arc has Fuuko being stabbed through the back by Ruin and the following 3 chapters introduce Luna, drastically alter the world through UMA Ghost, and the Earth itself starting to move toward the sun.
- Wake-Up Call Boss: Both Ruin and Seal serve as one. Despite having faced down the various UMA and other negators up until now, the Union including powerhouses like Andy, Phil, and Billy can't hold them off for long.
