Kanata, Ryumon and Kirino continue their training on GUTS Select to learn how to pilot the GUTS Falcon and combine with the GUTS Hawk. But out of nowhere the giant strong monster, Gomora, appears! But the Spheres interfere and create a new powerful beast: Sphere Gomora, Decker must unlock a new power to defeat this mighty foe.
Tropes
- Continuity Cameo: Deathdrago appears in GUTS-Select's simulation training as an opponent that shoots down the GUTS Falcon should the users fail to combine it with the GUTS Hawk.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: GUTS-Select blowing Sphere-Gomora's tail off severely weakens the agitated monster, but it also leaves it vulnerable to assimilation by the Sphere, who mutate it into a new form.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Gomora's sudden rampage is treated as unusual by GUTS-Select as Gomora is known for its strength and ferocity in battle, but they specifically mention that it's not an aggressive monster by nature. It would later be revealed that the Sphere's presence drove it to attack out of fear.
- The Worf Effect: Sphere-Gomora is quickly beaten by the newly debuting Power Type of Decker.
