Recap / Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy Episode 7

Go To

Before the Tri-Squad, here come the Space Fear-Demon Zett and its Zetton Army! This episode marks the beginning of Chapter 3!

Absolute Tartarus’s secret schemes haven’t stopped, and he's gathering the Ultras’ greatest enemies from across dimensions one after another. Meanwhile, Ultraman Taiga, Titas, and Fuma leave Earth and devote themselves to training… Only to be attacked by the mighty Zetton Army, led by the Space Fear-Demon Zett!

  • Alternate Self: Zett was briefly caught off-guard when Taiga and Titas revealed to fight another version of him before the events of Ultraman Taiga.
  • Back from the Dead: The Alien Bat from Ultraman Saga was resurrected by Reibatos to serve Tartarus.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Ribut and Andro Melos of the Galaxy Rescue Force arrived to the Tri-Squad's aid.
  • Bullying a Dragon: Tartarus learned the hard way not to mess with U40's strongest Ultra, Joneus, especially when its proven who's actually winning in the fight.
  • Canon Immigrant: Zett. He was originally stage show villain, now imported into a proper Ultra Series media.
  • The Cavalry Arrives Late: Zero appears to recruit Grigio and Joneus to his cause, per Father of Ultra's orders to form an all-star team against Tartarus. Both of the occasion that Zero arrived, he was too late to assist Grigio in against Zandrias and Noiseler or assisting Joneus against Tartarus.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • The Tri-Squad train in Planet Maijii, the same planet where young Taiga was mentioned to have train by himself and encountering the Gua Army in episodes 13-15 of the Tri-Squad Voice Drama.
    • Taiga and Titas mentioned that this isn't the first time they encountered Zett. Before meeting Fuma and forming the Tri-Squad, Taiga went to U40 to meet Titas for the first time and was caught in the middle of fighting against the first Zett's Zetton Army. Zett however chides, as its revealed that the one in Planet Maijii which the Tri-Squad about to fight is an Alternate Self.
  • Enemy Summoner: Zett summons an army of six artificial Zettons to harass the Tri-Squad on Planet Maijii.
  • The Ghost: Katsumi and Isami were mentioned in-name by Grigio when she met Zero, as her brothers left to tackle the Devil Splinter cases while she's left behind to defend Ayaka City.
  • Mondegreen Gag: Grigio assumes her brothers are dealing with “evil printers”. Zero quickly corrects her to “Devil Splinters”.
  • Mythology Gag: Alien Bat's creation of Zett is a frame-by-frame recreation of similar events from the 2016 Ultraman Festival stage show.
  • Thou Shall Not Kill: Grigio doesn't really kill Zandrias and Noiseler for terrorizing her town, simply scaring them away with her beam attack.
  • Took a Level in Badass: As Zero lampshaded, Grigio has become an even more capable combatant than the last time they met.
  • Villain: Exit, Stage Left: Tartarus left just as Joneus was about to deal the finishing blow.
