- Oh, Crap!: Starscream, when he realizes that Megatron is right behind him.
- Quickly-Demoted Leader: Starscream is removed from position as Air Commander which now belongs to Slipstream.
- The Unmasqued World: The people of Earth finally learned that there is a secret war between two factions of giant alien robots.
- Time Skip: Season 2 takes place where the war has reached the point where everyone on Earth knows that aliens are among them.
