As the Autobots make themselves at home in an abandoned Sumdac auto factory, a disembodied Megatron uses the factory's technology to launch an attack on them.
Tropes:
- Absent-Minded Professor: Professor Sumdac, when Sari finds him, has apparently been working in the lab all night, having had nothing to eat or drink in hours. Based on Sari's reaction, this isn't the first time this has happened.
- Alien Arts Are Appreciated: Zig-zagged. Seeing how the Autobots have just woken up on Earth, they mostly regard Sari's slumber party with confusion and participate because she insists (although Bumblebee's enjoying himself). By the end of the episode, they are willingly playing the slumber party games with her.
- Blatant Lies: Bumblebee insists that he isn't scared of the ghost story (which he says largely because none of the other 'bots are scared). Sari forces him to admit it when she scares him with her key.
- Celebrity Is Overrated: Prowl and Ratchet are irritated over constantly being harassed by human fans and camera-bots. Bulkhead also complains that the humans only want to watch him break stuff (though he admits breaking stuff is kind of fun). Subverted with Bumblebee, who loves being a star.
- Chekhov's Skill: At the start of the episode, Prowl is shown admiring how cats hunt, a technique he calls "stillness, then strike". When he realizes that the warehouse's tools are based on motion sensors, he uses the same technique, and then gets Bumblebee to use it.
- Everybody Hates Mathematics: Sari uses her key on Tutorbot to get out of a math lesson.
- Ghost Story: Used by Sari along with a prank to scare Bumblebee.
- Internal Reveal: The first thing Megatron finds out upon his revival is Starscream's treachery, witnessing the broadcast of Starscream gloating about attaching a bomb to Megatron's back. He doesn't take this revelation well (see below).
- Motor Mouth: Bumblebee, to Prowl's annoyance.
- Nature Lover: Prowl has a deep appreciation for Earth's wildlife, and is greatly frustrated that his teammates don't share his sentiments.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Upon discovering a pocketbot was the cause of the factory's machines attacking them, the Autobots attempt to catch it so they can study it. Bulkhead ends up accidentally destroying it when he grabs it, preventing the Autobots from discovering Megatron.
- Say My Name: "STARSCREEAM!!"
- The Scream: Bumblebee lets out one when Sari's prank works. It's Played for Laughs.
- Slumber Party: Sari, to celebrate the Autobots having a new home, has one of these. All of the 'bots (except Prowl) participate, although they are visibly confused by some of the activities.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: When Sari discovers her key can do more than just heal Autobots, she uses it to open the door to her father's laboratory. Unfortunately, some of the residual energy ends up reaching Megatron's head and reviving him.
