38F - Hell Train: Yuri Jahad

    Season 2: Ch. 196 (Chapter 275)

Within the Hell Train hallway after Yuri and Evan helped Bam and company escape from the Motor Core, Bam's companions remain confused as to who Yuri is since she knows Bam enough to give him a hug. In return, Bam properly introduces Yuri to them as the Jahad Princess who gave him the Black March weapon back on the 1st Floor. The announcement surprised Khun that Bam knows of someone so great, which he holds back Rak from acting up against her. Khun explaining how she's a powerful High Ranker of the Great Ha Family who's a hot-tempered woman who does whatever she wants, even if it means going against King Jahad's orders.

Shortly after, Bam and company are all seen taking a break within the Hell Train hallway. Bam, Khun, and Rak sit with Yuri, which Bam and Yuri discuss things to catch up on recent events. One event being Bam explaining his encounter with the Irregular, Urek Mazino, and admits he was an incredible man. Yuri then questions how Bam ended up within FUG since it was believed that Bam died on the 2nd Floor's Floor of Tests. In return, Bam reveals to her that it was a made up story in order to get him into FUG, which he begins to tell Yuri of everything during his time at FUG.

Nearby, Evan confronts Hwaryun given that they're both Tower Guides. Even points out how he remembers seeing Hwaryun on the Floor of Tests the day Bam disappeared from there, which he figures that Hwaryun must be Bam's Guide up the Tower. Hwaryun doesn't deny it, which Evan continues to interrogate her; questioning what her goal is to send Bam to FUG and make him their newest Slayer Candidate. However, Hwaryun states that she's just helping Bam walk the new path he's creating that no one has ever traveled before within the Tower. Evan questions what Hwaryun believes will be at the end of Bam's new path; pointing out that said path is just going to lead to Princess Yuri swearing revenge and causing bloodshed against FUG for what they did to Bam. In return, Hwaryun states that even she doesn't know as all the choices of the new path will be decided by Bam.

At another location of the Hell Train, Yura's seen having teleported Cassano and Traveller to a safe location. Traveller's left amazed by how their Emily terminals can teleport them anywhere as long as they have the right coordinates, which Yura then opens her suitcase item to release Rachel and White. Seeing that White's confused as to what's going on, Yura and Rachel explain that they're still within the Hell Train after rescuing White from the Motor Core's boiling acid trap. The fact that he was rescued disgusts White, which Rachel claims that White's now in debt to her. The debt being that he must become her sword to help her climb the Tower. White of course rejects the idea, which Rachel shows him her handheld Emily terminal; explaining that as an item that can track his clones, they not only can help White track down the last part he needs to fully resurrect, they can also give him whatever else he desires, but only if he agrees to help her first. The thought of being given whatever he wants catches White's attention to hear her out. Rachel then explains what she wants from White, which is to help her reach the Floor of Death in order to obtain a Thorn piece for herself.

Back to Bam and company's location, Bam had just finished up telling his story to Yuri of how he ended up in FUG, and the work he had to do for the organization. In return, Yuri feels bad about what Bam went through, but shows anger towards Yu Hansung for being a FUG mole working on the Floor of Tests that caused the events for Bam ending up in FUG to unfold. She wonders if the Floor of Test Director, Evankhell, is also involved, and gets up in anger. Yuri claiming that she's decided to go to the Floor of Tests to make Yu Hansung pay for not knowing his place.

    Season 2: Ch. 197 (Chapter 276)

As Yuri's about to head off to the Floor of Tests to put Yu Hansung in his place, Bam grabs her to stop her from going. He explains that Yuri's attack would just piss off FUG even further given that the organization is made up of people who were hurt by King Jahad and his Ten Great Families. Thus, Bam states that he will resolve his issues with FUG himself. His aim being to end the cycle of resentment and hatred between the two sides. Seeing that Bam's grown up, now as someone who has other reasons to climb the Tower apart from chasing after Rachel, Yuri agrees to drop the attack.

Yuri asks what Bam and company plan to do from here on out, which Khun figures that they have to stay on the Hell Train after learning that Rachel's team is heading for the 43rd Floor of Death. A Floor that can only be accessed as a pit stop for the Hell Train. A worried Yuri refuses to allow Bam to go there due to the danger the dead Tower Floor poses. Bam asks what's so dangerous about the Floor of Death, which Khun explains the 43rd Floor's history. That it's a dead Tower Floor due to the Irregular, Enryu, having killed its Floor Guardian, and is the place where the Thorn that Bam currently wields was originally found. Khun further explains how the floor has become unstable and dangerous since there's no Floor Guardian to watch over it. Thus, it's become a lawless area for Tower fugitives. Khun also warns that along with being dangerous for D-rank Regulars such as themselves, it remains a mystery if their shinsu abilities will even work there since they can't make their usual Tower Floor contract with the Floor Guardian to be allowed to use shinsu on the 43rd Floor.

Overall, Khun figures that they have to go to the 43rd Floor of Death after hearing that Rachel's aiming to obtain her own Thorn fragment there. Bam agrees as he wants to learn more about the Thorn and to meet with Rachel again. In return, Yuri accepts it as long as she acts as their support. Yuri explaining that since the Floor Guardian's dead, the Tower rules won't apply to the 43rd Floor where Rankers can't support Regulars under the Guardian's watchful eye. However, Yuri adds the condition that she will only allow Bam and his companions to enter the 43rd Floor if they prove themselves to her that they're strong enough to challenge the place, which Bam accepts.

Nearby, Wangnan's seen taking a break by himself; having finally woken up after he went unconscious when Hoaqin's spell sucked David out of him. He has the White Heavenly Mirror knife again, which the captured Buelsar and Raguel remain sealed within it. However, Wangnan remains distressed over his recent failures, such as being asleep the whole time that Viole was fighting, and that he couldn't even catch Cassano, who's needed to wake up Horyang from his coma. Hwaryun stops by to visit him, which Wangnan doesn't want to hear it believing that she's come to mock him for being an idiot. Hwaryun reassures him that he will get another chance on the Hell Train to catch Cassano. However, she once more warns Wangnan that she's seen one of Team Sweet-and-Sour's members dying should Wangnan continue the Cassano pursuit.

Following the break, Bam and company all gather to plan their next step. Since there's not much time remaining before the next Hell Train test to continue riding it up to the 39th Floor, Sachi figures that the injured should stay behind. The injured being Daniel and Aka, which Aka's team will stay with them along with Boro's student, Hanool, who's staying behind as the medic to help Daniel and Aka heal up. Before Bam and company move on, Daniel says his departing words to Bam; apologizing for his actions, and that having witnessed Bam's Irregular powers, FUG's clearly underestimated him. Bam's companions then head off to the Hell Train test without Daniel, Aka and Hanool. Yuri and Evan follow behind Bam's group in order to evaluate their skills during the test. As Yuri remains hyped to watch the test, Evan's left wondering if something big is about to happen due to their journey suddenly taking a detour to the Floor of Death.

Shortly after, Bam and company are seen taking part in the Hell Train's 38th Floor test, which is a battle against a large humanoid dinosaur-like creature known as the Gray Guardian. As the battle against the Gray Guardian unfolds, Yuri and Evan remain on the sideline watching everyone's skills. They take note of Sachi and his thorn vine skills since he's one of the strongest D-rank Regulars, and Bero having a lollipop ignition weapon. They also take note of the Team Sweet-and-Sour members showing excellent teamwork along with Ehwa having powerful Yeon Family flames. Yuri also notices Blarode and Quaetro doing their part, but she wonders why Blarode's not showing his true skills. Finally, Yuri and Evan admit that the Bam/Khun/Rak trio are incredible as a team, which Bam eventually lands a shinsu blast at the Gray Guardian's head to defeat it. Seeing Bam and his companions easily pass the 38th Floor test, Yuri wonders if there's anyone truly worthy to test Bam before they arrive at the Floor of Death. In return, Evan reveals that he researched the upcoming 39th Floor's boarding station, and that said station's leader is powerful enough to be a worthy test for Bam. However, he warns Yuri that the rules of the station will be dangerous to Bam.

At that same time, Team Nobic is seen having arrived at Name Hunt Station; the 39th Floor's boarding station for the Hell Train. Ran leads the way for the team as the one defeating the guards blocking the way. As Team Nobic makes their way into the station, an announcement is made for the Regulars of Name Hunter Station to take note of the names of the new arrivals. Meanwhile within Name Hunt Station, Team Shibisu is seen having already arrived, and are currently resting at one of the station's apartments. They hear about Team Nobic's arrival at the station, which Endorsi figures that the station's about to get messy.

    Bam and Yuri Reunion

Bam introduces his companions to Princess Yuri Jahad

After Bam and company escape the engine core thanks to Princess Yuri's power, they remain standing in a Hell Train hallway shocked that the Jahad Princess is giving Bam a hug. Khun wonders if Yuri is the person he thinks she is while everyone else remains confused as to who the woman is. Ehwa asks her teammates who this new girl is supposed to be, which Akraptor thinks to himself that she shouldn't be asking him since he obviously doesn't know.

After a few moments, Yuri finally stops hugging Bam. Bam admits that after all this time, Yuri is still very strong, which Yuri answers with a smile stating that that is a given. Rak asks Bam if the black turtle is ok being grabbed by such a violent turtle while Khun asks if the woman they're looking at really is the person he thinks she is. Bam answers that it's indeed the person he mentioned to them beforehand, Princess Yuri Jahad, who provided him the Black March back on the 1st Floor, which shocks Khun.

Khun admits to himself that it was something he was guessing, but can't believe it's actually her. He asks Yuri if she's really said Jahad Princess, and asks how she managed to get here as a High Ranker since the Hell Train is restricted to D-rank Regulars. Yuri answers that she has her ways of being able to do these things, but finds it surprising that Regulars seem to know about her. She asks if this perhaps means that she's famous, which Evan adds that it's more like she's infamous within the Tower. Yuri asks if Khun and company are Bam's companions, and explains that she's been watching them fight from a distance this entire time. She also states how glad she is that Bam managed to find himself some good companions, which Rak interrupts asking what the turtle means by that.

Khun warns Rak not to act out in front of a High Ranker Princess

The alligator yells out that he's the team leader rather than being just a companion, which causes Khun to hit him ordering Rak to shut up. The enraged Rak asks the blue turtle why he hit him, which Khun answers that the alligator needs to watch his words due to the woman standing before them. Khun explains to Rak that Yuri is a Jahad Princess that currently has two of the thirteen month weapon series. She's also someone who inherited the bloodline of the Great Ha Family leader, Yurin Ha.

As a result, Yuri was able to quickly become a High Ranker, but points out how Yuri appears to have also inherited Yurin's personality since Yuri is known to be extremely hot-tempered. Khun also warns Rak that she's known for going so far as to disobey King Jahad's orders doing her own thing.

The excited Yuri turns to Evan claiming that she seems to be famous after all, which Evan adds that it's because she's famous for not very good reasons. Amongst Bam's companions, Boro is left surprised that they're in front of a super famous Jahad Princess, which Sachi adds that he can't believe it either.

Yuri learns that FUG caused Bam's disappearance on the 2nd Floor

Akraptor finds it amazing finding out that the incredible Viole has a connection to a High Ranker Princess, which Ehwa finds it unbelievable that they're really looking at Yuri Ha. Meanwhile, Yuri figures that Bam and company must be tired, and asks for them to use this chance to find a place to sit down and talk. Moments later, the members of Team Tangsooyook are seen grouped up with Sachi and Boro while Hanool is with Team Aka's group to check on Aka's injuries.

In addition, Bam, Khun, and Rak, are seen chatting with Yuri. She finds it surprising that Bam encountered Urek Mazino, which Bam answers to be the case. Yuri asks if Bam thought of him as a weird dude, but Bam answers that he actually thought he was an incredible man. Bam explains how Urek was someone who liked to pose a lot, and talked about stuff outside the Tower. In return, Yuri finds it surprising that Urek would actually discuss that kind of stuff with Bam, and figures that Urek must have taken a liking to the boy. Thinking thinks over, Yuri next asks why Bam chose to enter FUG after he disappeared from the 2nd level's Floor of Tests. Yuri points out that the only word she got about the incident was that Bam died at that time. Bam explains that the information that was passed on about being killed off was a lie made up by FUG so that the terrorist organization could take him away, which shocks Yuri.

Near them, Hwaryun is seen sitting by herself, but is greeted by Evan, who wishes to have a chat with her. Hwaryun replies back that he has nothing to say to a silver dwarf, but Evan points out to the red-head guide that he saw her once before awhile back.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_04.jpg
Hwaryun discusses with Evan the new path Bam is on that guides can't see

Evan points out how he remembers it clearly that he saw her coming out of Yu Hansung's office the day Bam disappeared from the Tower. Hwaryun remains silent as Evan states that he's deduced how she must have been alongside the boy this whole time as his Tower guide.

Hwaryun admits that Evan is smarter than she thought, which Evan realizes that what he was thinking was correct, and asks if this means that she's part of FUG. Evan puts the pieces together that Hwaryun led Bam to FUG, turned him into a Slayer Candidate, and then guided him all the way up to this Hell Train using the Tower paths she saw as a guide. He asks Hwaryun who's sake she's doing this all for, but Hwaryun answers that she didn't create a path of anyone's sake, and has actually simply been a path that Bam has chosen to walk. She informs Evan that Bam's path is a path no guide can create. A completely new path that has never been travelled on before.

The answer that Bam is walking a new path catches Evan's attention, and asks what Hwaryun thinks will be at the end of it. He asks if it's a path of destruction or revenge, but also uses this moment to warn Hwaryun that if this new path leads to such outcomes using this current group of Regulars, then Hwaryun and FUG will be finished if Princess Yuri finds out the truth. He warns Hwaryun that the only path Princess Yuri will choose is destruction and revenge against FUG for what they did to Bam. At Bam's location, Yuri is seen thinking over what Bam just told her about being forced into FUG.

    Rachel Recruiting Hoaqin

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_05.jpg
Yura finishes transporting Hoaqin and Team Rachel to a safe Hell Train location

Evan asks if Hwaryun truly wants the path to be an ending where everyone dies, which she answers that she doesn't know, but adds that it would be a lot easier to just give the others the right to make their own choices. However, she states once more that the path Bam and company are walking on is a new path, and as a result, the two of them as Tower guides have no right to make the choices for them. She informs Evan that no matter what, it will be Bam that makes all the choices from here on out.

At another location within the Hell Train, Yura is seen teleporting in with her luggage carrier alongside Cassano and Traveller. She informs Cassano and Traveller that their teleportation has been safely completed. Traveller admits that her abilities are amazing being able to teleport anywhere by just entering coordinates, which Yura explains that it would be a lot tougher if Emile wasn't providing her the information. Pulling up her luggage carrier, Yura asks the two if it's about time to bring out the others.

Yura opens her carrier as Hoaqin and Rachel are seen popping out of it to rejoin the rest of the team. As Yura greets Rachel and Hoaqin, the Slayer Candidate stands there in silence asking Yura where he is and what just happened. Yura answers that while they're still inside the Hell Train, they've moved to a place farther away from the express' testing rooms so that no one would be able to find their location. Rachel explains that Yura used her teleportation skills to save Hoaqin after his life was put in danger due to losing the Dallar Show to Bam, which surprises Hoaqin hearing that the idol was actually able to pull off something like that.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_06.jpg
Rachel convinces Hoaqin to join her journey to the 43rd Floor of Death

Hoaqin thinks things over hearing that he had been saved by someone else. He thinks to himself that this is such a disgrace not only losing to Viole in a fight, but has also had his life spared by someone else. At this point, Rachel interrupts Hoaqin's thought stating that since her team went out of the way to save him, it would only be right for him to become her subordinate. She asks if Hoaqin will be ok with this, which confuses the latter.

Rachel reminds Hoaqin once more that they saved his life, so as a result, it's only right for him to become her subordinate. She asks once more if Hoaqin will be ok with this to become her faithful sword that will follow her orders to slay other people in her name, which enrages Hoaqin asking how she could dare to pull a stunt like this. He yells at Rachel asking if she has any idea who he is, but in return, Rachel shows him her Emile terminal. She asks if Hoaqin has any idea what it is, which confuses him.

Rachel explains that Emile is a program that can tell her the location of Hoaqin's other clones. She informs Hoaqin that it was her team that went around releasing the other siblings after they succeeded in getting Hoaqin out of his locked room. Rachel continues to explain that Emile uses shinsoo to track the movement of everyone who's human that the program comes into contact with, such as anyone who's connected to Hoaqin. As a result, Rachel reveals to Hoaqin that they can track down the final clone piece that will resurrect White. She warns Hoaqin that if he wants to be complete again, then the best option he could take would be to cooperate with Team Rachel.

Rachel continues to try to convince Hoaqin to join them by claiming that they're willing to give him everything he wants, which catches Hoaqin's attention. At this point, Rachel figures that Hoaqin has accepted her offer, and states that as her sword, there's only one thing she wants to begin with. Hoaqin remains confused by the statement, which Rachel answers that she wants him to go to the 43rd Floor of Death with them, and bring Rachel back a piece of the Thorn that she can put to use for herself.

Returning to Bam and company, Yuri admits that she understands the situation after hearing their entire story. She thinks over in sadness how FUG had forced Bam to go through so much, which causes her to think about Yu Hansung, who Yuri admits that said 2nd Floor Ranker always seemed so suspicious like he was planning something behind everyone's back. Yuri admits that she never would have guessed that Yu Hansung was actually a part of FUG, and wonders if 2nd Floor Director, Evankhell, is also somehow involved with all this.

Goal to Reach the 43rd Floor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_07.jpg
Bam convinces Yuri that he will settle things with FUG himself

At this point, Yuri stands up from her seat in anger, which surprises Bam, Khun, and Rak. Yuri states that she'll be heading off to the Floor of Tests, which confuses Bam. She explains that she'll be meeting with Yu Hansung, and make him pay the price for not knowing his place. However, Bam grabs hold of her, and tells Yuri that she can't go.

Khun, Rak, and Yuri all remain confused by Bam's action just now, which he explains to Yuri that this problem can't be solved by the Jahad Princess just destroying everything. Bam continues to explain that FUG is an organization that houses many people who've lost things important to Jahad and the Ten Great Families.

He warns Yuri that if she was to attack them right now out of revenge for Bam's sake, it would then lead to the entire situation getting out of hand. Yuri reminds Bam of what FUG has done to him, but he informs her that no matter what, he will resolve his personal resentment towards FUG himself.

Bam also tells Yuri that he thinks the most important thing at the moment is to stop his old resentment and hatred towards something from repeating itself like what Yuri's about to do. Thinking it over, Yuri half-heartedly goes along with Bam's wish, and decides not to leave right away for the 2nd Floor. Giving off a smile, Yuri admits to Bam that he's grown up a lot since the time they first met all the way back on Headon's 1st Floor.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_08.jpg
Khun informs Yuri that their plan is to ride the Hell Train to the 43rd Floor of Death

She also notes how Bam appears to have found another reason to climb the Tower apart from chasing after the girl he was following after, which catches Bam's attention. Deciding to change the subject, Yuri asks the Bam, Khun, and Rak, group where their next destination will be, such as continuing to climb the Tower through the Hell Train.

Khun answers that Rachel informed them that she will be heading for the 43rd Floor of Death for some reason. As a result, it seems like their primary plan for now is to ride the Hell Train to the 43rd Floor to chase after her, which shocks Yuri hearing that they're going to the dead Guardian's Floor. Grabbing hold of Bam, Yuri orders him to absolutely not go to the Floor of Death, which confuses Bam. She continues to yell at him that he can't go to the Floor of Death no matter what as it's an area that isn't safe for people that are still on the level of D-rank Regulars.

Bam asks the group what the Floor of Death is like, which Khun answers that it's the 43rd Floor where its Guardian was killed by the Irregular, Enryu. Said Floor is also where Bam's Thorn was apparently discovered. Khun continues to explain that no one has taken control of the Floor ever since the Guardian died, and as a result, it's become an uninhabitable place to live, but has become a location where a large amount of fugitives have taken up residence. To sum it all up, Khun warns Bam that the 43rd Floor is basically known as a Lawless Area.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_09.jpg
Bam wishing to go in order to chase after Rachel, and learn more about the Thorn

Khun agrees with Yuri that the lawless 43rd Floor is going to be a place too dangerous for simple D-rank Regulars to enter. He also points out how because there won't be a Guardian there to form a Floor contract with, it will be highly likely that they won't be able to use shinsoo. With all that said, Yuri states to Bam that this is all exactly why the Floor of Death is off-limits since it's a place that even Rankers try to avoid from entering.

Continuing to think it over, Khun reminds the group once more that Rachel definitely said she was going to be heading there. He also points out how they were informed of the information that there's going to be more Thorn fragments scattered around the 43rd Floor. Knowing all that, Khun warns Bam and company that they probably won't be able to advance any further if they don't attempt to go to the Floor of Death. Bam agrees with Khun that he needs to go there, because he wishes to know more about the Thorn, as well as attempt to meet with Rachel again.

Yuri thinks it over claiming that they're making this situation difficult, but informs them that she will accompany them to the Floor of Death. She explains that they shouldn't encounter any problems as long as a Ranker such as herself is seen wandering around with a group of Regulars. She also adds that it may actually be ok for her to support Bam and company if they come across any trouble, which surprises Bam hearing that Yuri will be joining them. Yuri states that that is indeed the case since she figures that it will be hard for them to handle the Floor of Death all on their own.

    Wangnan's Regret

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_10.jpg
Wangnan hating himself for his recent failings against Cassano and Hoaqin

However, Yuri adds that she will only allow Bam to enter the 43rd Floor on one condition. She explains that she will only allow Bam to enter the Floor of Death if he proves himself to be capable of challenging the place. Yuri adds that the Regulars who she believes are still insufficient strength-wise will remain on the Hell Train. She states that she will only be judging Bam much stricter, and asks if Bam understands all this, which Bam answers that he does.

At another location in the room, Wangnan watches over the rest of his companions talking with one another. Wangnan gives off a sigh of sadness, and looks at this casted up arm due to it being stabbed by Hoaqin prior to the start of the Dallar Show. He thinks over how he failed to keep Hoaqin from absorbing Vicente, and was forced to watch the Slayer Candidate run off unable to do anything about it. He also thinks over how he's still been unable to catch Cassano, who's needed to wake up the comatose Horyang.

With the White Heavenly Mirror that has Raguel and Buelsar sealed within it next to him, Wangnan hates himself knowing that he was forced to sleep within it through the remainder of the Dallar Show while Viole was still fighting Hoaqin to save his companions. Telling himself in frustration that he should just die, Wangnan thinks to himself that he's been so pathetic. At this point, Hwaryun walks up to Wangnan, who points out that he's always in such a pathetic state blaming himself for his failures every time they meet again. Not surprised by Hwaryun's comment, Wangnan orders her to mock him all she wants since he's an idiot who's unable to save his companions.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_11.jpg
Hwaryun warns Wangnan that a companion will die if he stays on the train

Wangnan continues to call himself an idiot, and asks what he's supposed to tell Goseng since he failed to catch Cassano, who's needed to wake Horyang back up. However, Hwaryun reminds him that he doesn't have to fall into despair too far since he's still got another chance to help his companions as long as he's still currently on the Hell Train. Hwaryun also warns Wangnan that all this means that there's still the possibility of another crisis to happen, which catches Wangnan's attention. Hwaryun tells Wangnan that it's just like what she said to him back then. That as long as Wangnan remains on the Hell Train, one of his teammates is guaranteed to die. As a result, she warns Wangnan to choose carefully whether he should continue to remain aboard the Hell Train or not. Wangnan begins to sweat as Hwaryun sends him another warning that he'd better brace himself as he got lucky this time that no one around him has died yet. Watching Hwaryun walk away, Wangnan is glad to know that there's still hope he will get another chance to catch Cassano, but remains confused as to why one of his teammates has to die as long as he remains on the Hell Train.

Some time passes as Boro and Sachi gather all the current Hell Train companions claiming that it's about time for their break to end. Sachi explains that it's about to be daytime on the Hell Train soon, and as a result, they're running out of time to complete Hell Train's 38th Floor Test in order to stay on the express for the 39th Floor.

    Team Bam's 38th Floor Test

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_12.jpg
Daniel, Aka, his two subordinates, and Hanool, end their current Hell Train run

However, due to the Train Conductor (Pedro) having died off, the results of the Dallar Show appear to have not counted as a replacement for their Floor Test. As a result, Sachi warns everyone that they don't have much choice but to ride the Hell Train's transport device to reach the location of a substitute Floor Test that only goes down if unavoidable circumstances have occurred.

Sachi then turns to the people who'll be unable to join them. He claims that they'll have to part ways at this point with Aka and Daniel due to the injuries they received from Hoaqin during the Dallar Show. Aka's two subordinates agree to stay behind with Aka while Hanool has decided to stay with them as well due to his medical experience that he can put to use to help take care of Aka and Daniel.

Sachi asks if Daniel is ok with this, to which the latter admits that he is knowing that his injury will just be slowing the rest of the group down. Daniel then turns to Jue Viole Grace, and apologizes to him claiming that it's his fault that Bam got caught up in this mess. Bam replies back that it's ok knowing that Daniel had his own reason to fight against him, but also reminds Daniel that their two goals weren't completely unrelated. In return, Daniel states that it's become obvious that FUG is continuously trying to drag Viole into things. Daniel reveals that FUG even ordered him to make sure that Viole gets onto the Hell Train. However, Daniel assures Viole that FUG has been underestimating their new Slayer Candidate.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc47_13.jpg
Bam's group take on the Gray Guardian for the Hell Train's 38th Floor Test

Daniel states that having witnessed Viole in action, he's come to realize that he's a lot stronger than FUG thinks he is. He orders Viole not to lose from here on out, which Bam answers that he won't. At this point, the order is given for them all to head for the substitute Hell Train test, which they agree to do so as they head through the transport entrance.

Watching Bam and company head off, Yuri informs Evan that they're going as well in order to see the skills of this bunch of new guys, which Evan agrees to do so. Yuri gives off a laugh claiming that this is making her excited, which Evan sweats in exhaustion knowing that he's in for another long journey. He thinks about how crazy things have gotten knowing that Bam and company's next destination is apparently going to be the 43rd Floor of Death, and wonders if this has always been Princess Repelista's plan all along. He's left thinking that this feels like the start of something very big happening.

Some time later, Bam and company are greeted by their test opponent for the Hell Train's 38th Floor Test, an alligator-like Gray Guardian. A confused Rak points out how their opponent looks just like him, and figures that this will be a problem for the turtles being unable to attack a similar being. However, Khun jokes that he can't wait to punch the Gray Guardian since it reminds him of something, which enrages Rak.

The Gray Guardian attempts to attack Bam's group, which Sachi is given the order to attack first. Sachi goes along with the plan, and uses his thornbush shinsoo to wrap the test guardian up in thorn vines. Watching the fight, Yuri points out how the vine user has a pretty handy spell, which Evan answers that the person using it is known as Sachi Faker, one of the three strongest current D-rank Regulars. Yuri claims that this is a good find she should keep an eye on, to which Evan agrees that a D-rank Regular having the ability to restrain people will be a big help to the team in the future.

Yuri watches over the Gray Guardian fight to evaluate the skills of Bam's group

Seeing Bero and Danhwa attack the Gray Guardian from the side, Evan points out how the fat girl with the lollipop only looks like a Regular with strength that has nothing special to examine, but points out how she appears to have possession of an ignition weapon. Evan then turns his attention to Akraptor, Prince, and Miseng, attacking the Gray Guardian, and claims that despite their skills being average at best, they appear to have the best teamwork of Bam's current group. They then watch Ehwa and Quaetro shooting their fire abilities at the Gray Guardian, which Yuri admits that Ehwa of the Great Yeon Family is going to no doubt be an ace in the future. She also notices Blarode just standing there not attacking, and wonders why he's choosing to hide his abilities.

Yuri next turns her attention to the Bam, Khun, and Rak group firing their attacks at the Gray Guardian, and admits that the three definitely work well together as a three-man team. She also adds that outside working as a team, the three of them have outstanding skills individually. Seeing an opening, Sachi orders Bam to use this chance to finish the Gray Guardian off, which Bam agrees to do so. Bam creates a massive Bang of shinsoo that he fires towards the Gray Guardian, which knocks it back. Seeing Bam's powerful attack, Yuri admits that this proves how strong he's become, and states to Evan that it will be difficult to find someone who could challenge Bam within the D-rank Regulars.

Evan informs Yuri of a worthy opponent for Bam at the 39th Floor station

Evan agrees that Bam is powerful on his own, but adds that thanks to working together with Khun and Rak, the boy appears to have his abilities always working at their maximum potential. Knowing it will be difficult to find a proper test for Bam, she asks Evan how she should handle this, which Evan answers that he found out about the 39th Floor's Hell Train station.

Yuri asks what Evan is talking about, to which Evan answers that he may have found someone suitable to test Bam's abilities. Getting excited, Yuri orders Evan to tell her who it is, which Evan answers that the person appears to be the leader of the 39th Floor station.

Evan admits that this leader appears to be very powerful, but also points out that there's a downside. Yuri asks what Evan means by downside, which Evan explains that the 39th Floor station is considered far too dangerous to the point that Bam and company could end up getting hurt if things go wrong.

The 39th Floor's Hell Train Station

At that same time, the setting switches to the Hell Train's Name Hunt Station of the 39th Floor. A Regular is seen using lightning abilities to defeat the animal-like Regulars standing before him. All of said Regulars fall to the floor unconscious as the lightning Regular, Ran, drops back down to the floor as well after defeating his enemies.

Team Nobic arrives at the 39th Floor's Name Hunt Station

Several other members of Team Nobic (Nobic, Sia Sia, and Dan) are seen behind Ran having watched him defeat the group of Regulars. The Regulars all around watch as Team Nobic continue onward asking amongst themselves who this group of newcomers is.

An announcement is made that Team Nobic have cleared the sixth veil to enter the station, and asks for the Regulars all around to pay attention to the names of the newcomer Team Nobic group. The announcer states that Sia Sia, Nobic, Edin Dan, and Ran from the Great Khun Family have all arrived at the Name Hunt Station, as the Regulars all around begin to get excited that some good fresh meat names have arrived.

At a building within the 39th Floor's Name Hunt Station, a voice states that the names of Team Nobic are quite familiar, and asks if this means that that group has finally arrived. Anaak is seen sitting by in silence as Endorsi Jahad looks out the building window telling Shibisu that it appears this place is about to get really noisy.

Lauroe is also seen in the room trying to sleep, and says to himself that he hates when things get noisy.
