35F - Hell Train: Revolution Road

    Season 2: Ch. 133 (Chapter 212)

At Floor 4's Stadium, Hwaryun states that she will only guide them through the emergency exit maze if they all agree to cooperate in catching Team Rachel. Aka remains unconvinced that they could make it to the Hell Train in time through a maze, but Boro assures him that it's possible given that Hwaryun has the Guide Tower position. Due to the group being too big, Boro suggests that they split into two groups. A pursuit team that goes through the emergency exit maze to reach the Hell Train, and the other team stays to take part in the fake tournament so that Train City doesn't erupt into chaos if word gets out that the tournament is a farce, and to keep the higher-ups from noticing what they're doing. They all agree to the plan, which Hwaryun suggests another group split for the pursuit team where one goes to free Train City's main elevator from Yura's teammates while the other goes for the Hell Train. With everything set, Bam and company begin their plan to reach the Hell Train.

As the next match of the fake tournament begins, Rak ends up being left behind with Hanool and the injured Hana to act as Team Bam's ongoing tournament group, much to Rak's anger that he didn't get to join the pursuit team. Hanool states it's a given that the weakest members would stay behind, which pisses Rak off even further since he's strong compared to other turtles. Suddenly, an unknown newcomer arrives pointing out that Rak is still going around calling people "turtles," which Rak's left surprised by who he's seeing.

Meanwhile, Bam's 6-man pursuit team (Bam, Hwaryun, Boro, Ran, Aka, and Moontari) is seen making their way through the Stadium's emergency exit maze that's connected between all of Train City's Floors; following the path that Guide Hwaryun sees. During the run, Hwaryun warns them to take the emergency exit maze seriously as it was created by a Workshop disciple. Bam then asks how Boro and Aka seem to know each other, which Boro explains that they were once comrades on a past Hell Train run. Though they're not exactly friends as after their past Hell Train incident where they escaped from the Slayer-Candidate, Boro calls out Aka as someone who became a greedy person who attacks Hell Train rookies while Aka calls out Boro for being a runaway loser that went into hiding. However, Aka remains determined to reach the Hell Train believing that he will find "her" someday, which leaves Boro thinking knowing who the exact girl is that Aka's referring to.

At Floor 5's Control Center, Sia is still seen there using the center to provide the pursuit team information and directions through Lighthouse communication. Using directions provided between Sia and Hwaryun, Dan is seen on his own racing his way through the maze. The reason being that Dan has to reach a button in the maze that will open a gate blocking the path forward for the pursuit team. Once the gate is opened for Bam's 6-man team and they go beyond it, Bam's teammates are all left impressed by Hwaryun's guide abilities. Meanwhile, Sia and Hwaryun do the same thing with Beta leading him through the emergency exit maze to reach the Train City floor that Yura's teammates are keeping the main elevator stuck on. Once Beta comes across the elevator entrance, he quickly disposes of Yura's four teammates guarding it. However, Beta provides the bad news to everyone that Yura's allies wrecked the elevator's control panel, much to Hwaryun's annoyance that Yura's a smart enemy.

At that same time, Team Rachel is seen having followed the phoenix navigator up the Helix Stairs to the Hell Train's boarding platform. Once they reach the top, Daniel states that he's finally seeing it again as Team Rachel is left gazing upon the massive and floating Hell Train that remains stationed at the Train City platform.

    Season 2: Ch. 134 (Chapter 213)

Team Rachel now stands atop Floor 6's Skyscraper platform. Looking at the massive floating Hell Train floating above them, Team Rachel go about discussing their amazement at how big the Hell Train actually is. They then spot a tiny open door along the side of the Hell Train, which Daniel notes how lucky they are since the Hell Train's outer exit tends to appear at random. They're then greeted by Poro Poe, a D-rank Regular who's been working as a Train City Train Administrator for the past 10 years, and that he seems to know Daniel (being Daniel's inside source that gave him the remote to control the Mirotic Guardian). Appearing out of a door on the Skyscraper platform, Poro's glad to see that Daniel got by the Mirotic Guardian, but he also warns Team Rachel that the Hell Train's captain isn't going to be taking off without Yura, which the captain only agreed to go along with Team Rachel's plan if Yura joined in. Daniel assures Poro that Yura will get here eventually, which Poro states that they'll be allowed to board the Hell Train once she arrives. Using the Emily terminal to contact Yura, Rachel reveals to the group that Yura's currently on her way.

At that same time, Yura and her sword-user teammate are seen making their way down a path of Train City towards the Hell Train. The sword-user thinks back to a private conversation that he had with Yura before the fake tournament. Within the flashback, Yura explains the true plan to the sword-user of how her and Team Rachel are going to steal away the Hell Train for themselves during the fake tournament they set up. The sword-user questions why he's the only teammate Yura's telling this to, which Yura answers that there's two reasons. That said sword-user appears to be the best of the Regulars she gathered up on the Residence floor, and that it would benefit her if at least one person knew her true purpose to board the Hell Train. That the sword-user will have no choice but to help her out once he hears what she lost and desires on the Hell Train.

Returning to the present, Bam's pursuit team stop to discuss their next course of action now that they can no longer reach the main elevator using the emergency exit maze since Yura's teammates destroyed it. As a result, Bam decides that they should find a way to reach Floor 1's Entrance from the emergency exit maze.

Meanwhile, Yura and the sword-user continue to make their way through Train City. The sword-user remains worried about making their way through the maze-like side tunnels of Train City, but Yura assures him that they'll be fine since she was given the right path directions from the Control Center. Sure enough, the two of them eventually arrive out of the side tunnels at Floor 1's Entrance where the Mirotic Guardian once stood blocking the gate to the Hell Train. Seeing traces of a leftover battle, Yura can tell that Team Rachel has already passed through. Before her and the sword-user could continue on however, they hear a sound coming from the main elevator that brings people to Floor 1's Entrance. To Yura and the sword-user's shock, they see Bam's pursuit team burst through the elevator entrance doors; having arrived at Floor 1's Entrance despite the main elevator being sabotaged.

Yura questions how Bam made it to Floor 1's Entrance so fast, which he explains that just because the elevator was sabotaged, the path the elevator uses still exists. Thus, they just needed to find an entrance to the elevator shaft, and drop down through it. As Bam threatens to stop Yura and the Hell Train, the idol grabs hold of the sword-user, and makes her escape towards the gate to the Hell Train. Yura then reveals that just like Daniel, she was also provided a remote to control the Mirotic Guardian. Thus, once Yura and her sword teammate are beyond the gate, she presses the button to turn the Mirotic Guardian defensive system back online, which now stands between Yura and Bam's pursuit team. The Mirotic Guardian then sends a shinsu blast at Bam's pursuit team while Yura and the sword-user continue on.

Meanwhile from the Skyscraper platform, Team Rachel hears the commotion going on back at Floor 1's Entrance, which they're left wondering what they're hearing.

    Season 2: Ch. 135 (Chapter 214)

Team Rachel waits alongside Train Administrator Poro to eventually board the Hell Train once Yura arrives. Due to the commotion that they heard back at Floor 1's Entrance, Poro's left worried about enemies possibly reaching Floor 6's Skyscraper platform, and states that he will have to notify the Hell Train captain about the danger. However, Daniel advises against it, and states that he will head back down the Helix Stairs himself to investigate what's going on. Daniel then begins his walk back down the stairwell wondering who it is that's trying to stop them when they're about to take off on the Hell Train.

At that same time, Bam's pursuit team is forced to stall at Floor 1's Entrance due to the Mirotic Guardian reappearing thanks to Yura reactivating Train City's defense system. As they stand against the Mirotic Guardian, Boro notes how this is proof that Train City's higher-ups are corrupt to the point of working alongside Yura and Team Rachel. Boro also catches sight of the remote in Yura's hand that's controlling the Mirotic Guardian, which Hwaryun and Bam charge in to try to claim it. It's at this point that the Mirotic Guardian launches another of his spears to strike at the two of them. However, following behind the path that Hwaryun sees, Bam summons out his Blue Oar transport platform to quickly bypass the Mirotic Guardian. The Mirotic Guardian and Bam take one last look at one another as Hwaryun and Bam continue on through the gate to chase after Yura, and towards the Hell Train. As for Boro, Ran, Aka, and Moontari, they're left behind to try to fight their way through the Mirotic Guardian.

Yura and her sword-user teammate eventually arrive at the Helix Stairs, but Bam and Hwaryun manage to catch up to them, much to Yura's irritation that her enemies somehow bypassed the Mirotic Guardian already. The sword-user offers to stall the enemies for Yura so that she can continue on by herself, which she questions why he would do this for her. She questions if it's out of sympathy because of the story he told her about what she wants on the Hell Train, but the sword-user doesn't answer, and ignites his sword to send a blast of shinsu at Bam. As Yura runs away towards the Helix Stairs, Bam tries to convince the sword-user to move. It's at this point that Boro manages to catch up to Hwaryun and Bam on his own. Boro explaining that Aka threw him over the Mirotic Guardian. Boro then offers to take on the sword-user himself so that Bam and Hwaryun can continue on, which they accept and charge on towards the Helix Stairs in order to catch up to Yura.

Arriving at the Helix Stairs, Bam calls out to Yura while firing a blast of shinsu at her, which forces Yura on the defensive by blocking it with her shinsu-blocking luggage carrier. Yura complains about the attempted cheap shot while Bam orders her to hand over the remote for the Mirotic Guardian and her Express Ticket. Bam claims that he will stop Yura and Team Rachel's Hell Train plan no matter what only for Daniel to appear walking down the Helix Stairs claiming that he can't allow that. Daniel greets Yura as fellow teammates while properly introducing himself to Bam as a member of Team Rachel, which catches Bam's attention.

    Season 2: Ch. 136 (Chapter 215)

As Daniel gets off the Helix Stairs, Bam asks him to step aside so that he can see Rachel. In return, Daniel connects the dots between Bam's appearance and his desire to see Rachel that the one before him is the Slayer-Candiate, Jue Viole Grace. Daniel apologizes for not recognizing Viole right away, and informs Bam that Rachel is indeed above them at the top if the Helix Stairs waiting to board the Hell Train. However, given that they're both members of FUG, he challenges Bam to a duel to see what FUG's newest Slayer-Candidate is capable of. The reward being that if Bam defeats Daniel, the latter will hand over the remote he holds that controls the Mirotic Guardian.

Meanwhile at Floor 1's Entrance, the fight continues between Ran, Aka and Moontari against the Mirotic Guardian. However, they're unable to find any openings, which Aka explains that without a Tower Guide, it's impossible. Ran remains disappointed that Aka appears to be giving up while also catching on that Bam, Hwaryun and Boro ran into trouble given that the Mirotic Guardian's still active after this long. Ran then announces that he has a plan to defeat the Mirotic Guardian, but it will require Aka to be capable of opening the path for him. Going along with it, Aka powers up ready to show off what he's capable of.

Back at the bottom of the Helix stairs, Yura complains as to why she's part of Daniel's scheme, which Daniel states that it's her fault for letting the enemy get this far. Daniel also adds that all Yura has to do is keep running away while he holds off Bam, which convinces Yura to go along with it. Bam then asks Hwaryun for her opinion, which she admits that it would be advantageous to just face off in 1-on-1s rather than take on both Daniel and Yura at once. Thus, Bam accepts the challenge, which leaves Bam behind to face Daniel while Hwaryun chases Yura up the Helix Stairs. Beginning their duel, Daniel creates his purple orb ability to strike at Bam, who counters with a shinsu strike of his own to cancel the attack out, which Bam's reaction speed impresses Daniel.

Meanwhile, Hwaryun chases Yura up the Helix Stairs, which it turns out that Hwaryun can keep up due to Yura not being that fast of a fast runner. Being at the same running speed as Yura, Hwaryun figures that there's only one path that she can take to catch up.

At that same time, the close-combat duel between Bam and Daniel at the bottom of the Helix Stairs continues. Daniel admits that Viole is showing what he's capable of as a Slayer-Candidate, which Bam announces that he moved on from that FUG name long ago. However, Daniel questions if he truly can move on from his Slayer-Candidate status as he blasts many of his purple orbs upon Bam. Seeing Bam's body damaged by the attack, Daniel's left disappointed that Viole has a weak body for a Slayer-Candidate. However, it comes as a surprise to him when he sees that Bam copied his purple orb attack, and shoots it at Daniel. Bam then charges at Daniel once more, and uses the latter's copied martial arts moves to launch a close-combat barrage that combines the other martial arts that Bam learned over the years. All Daniel can do is block Bam's attack barrage as he's unable to make sense of how Bam is capable of combining many skills into one massive continuous attack.

    Season 2: Ch. 137 (Chapter 216)

Bam's barrage of martial arts overwhelms Daniel to the point of him being blasted back at the bottom of the Helix Stairs, which Daniel is left stunned to the point of questioning if such an ability is related to the Slayer Candidate's rumored "copying-skill." In return, Bam goes over how for the past year leading up to the Workshop Battle, and the recent journey to Train City, he visited many dojos throughout the Tower's Middle Areas. The dojo practitioners would then hit him with their attacks, which despite how painful taking so many attacks were, it allowed for Bam to copy their martial arts skills. Impressed by Bam's risk-taking, Daniel stands ready to continue fighting.

Meanwhile at Floor 1's Entrance, the 3-on-1 battle between Ran, Aka, and Moontari against the Mirotic Guardian continues. Aka powers up his Combustion skill by covering himself in flames of shinsu, which is explained to be a powerful defensive skill that deactivates the attacks of any incoming enemies. The plan being for Aka to tank one of the Mirotic Guardian's spears in order to provide an opening for his allies to counter. Despite Moontari not believing that a D-rank rookie like Ran could help out, Moontari goes along with it. The Mirotic Guardian then throws its spear, which Aka tanks it just as planned using Combustion defense. Moontari then covers for Ran by holding off another of the spears using his reverse flow control ability, which Ran uses the opening to throw a massive lightning spear at the Mirotic Guardian.

At that same time, the duel between the needle-using Boro and Yura's sword-user teammate continues in the tunnel between Floor 1's Entrance and the Helix Stairs. Boro notes how his opponent seems to be the wielder of a powerful Ignition Weapon, which Yura's sword-user teammate introduces himself as Hong Danhwa (same Hong family as the Ignition Weapon user, Chunhwa, from Season 1). Danhwa explains how he comes from a homeland blessed with seven holy swords that were wielded by seven past talented swordsmen who used their skills to take down a brutal ancient beast that was attacking their home. The power of the defeated brutal ancient beast was then sealed within the swords, which became his home's seven holy swords. Danhwa further explains that the holy swords were past down for generations, which he was eventually chosen as one of the current day sword wielders. Hi holy sword being known as "Krishna."

Wielding Krishna against Boro, Danhwa states that he's chosen to fight for Yura after hearing her story, and considers anyone who goes against her as the enemy. In return, Boro finds Danhwa nuts that he's become loyal to someone he just met, which they then resume their fight. Danhwa swings his sword to fire blasts of shinsu at Boro, which after a while, Boro taunts that he now understands Krishna's movements. Using his needle-weapon, Boro swings it at one of Krishna's shinsu strikes to divert it elsewhere. Boro explaining that he's relying on fluid martial arts to read a weapon's movements, which allows him to dodge attacks. Danhwa refuses to believe it that his powerful Ignition Weapon can be read, and keeps firing shinsu blasts. However, Boro avoids the attack like before, and then charges at Danhwa. Boro then proceeds to stab his needle through Danhwa's chest, which defeats the latter.

    Season 2: Ch. 138 (Chapter 217)

After being stabbed through the chest by Boro's needle, the defeated Danhwa falls to the floor and is unable to move. Boro assures Danhwa that the injury won't kill the latter, but he remains confused as to why Danhwa's going so far for someone like Yura. As a result, Danhwa thinks back to the private conversation he had with Yura in their team's Floor 2 Residence room where she explains to him her need to get onto the Hell Train to take back something precious that was stolen from her. In the present, Danhwa asks Boro questions related to Yura's quest. He asks if Boro rode the Hell Train in the past up to the Hidden Floor, and that if he did, Danhwa asks if there truly is a place there that can turn back time known as the "Place Where You Can Go Back." However, Boro remains confused by such questions.

Meanwhile, the close-combat martial arts duel between Bam and Daniel continues at the base of the Helix Stairs. Breaking apart from one another, Daniel notes how Bam's skills remind him of a past Slayer Candidate that he met before aboard the Hell Train, which catches Bam's attention wondering if it's the same person that Boro during the latter's past Hell Train trip. Daniel replies that he lost everything due to the past Slayer Candidate, and warns Jue Viole Grace that the latter won't stop the new beginning as Bam has already fallen into a trap the moment he accepted Daniel's bet.

At that same time at Floor 1's Entrance, Ran, Aka and Moontari's fight with the Mirotic Guardian continues. Ran charges in believing that he opened the way thanks to his lightning counterattack. However, the Mirotic Guardian grabs hold of Ran and slams the latter into the floor, which confuses everyone as to how the real Mirotic Guardian is here rather than just the fake illusion it was beforehand.

Back at the Helix Stairs, Hwaryun is seen chasing Yura up the spiral stairwell that leads up to the Hell Train. Midway up, Hwaryun questions how she's supposed to catch up to Yura when they have the same running speed. Upon noticing the open gap that goes through the middle of the spiral stairs, Hwaryun realizes that she has another path she can take. She throws her pole weapon above her into the open helix gap, and uses it as a platform to jump up to a higher location of the stairwell. Thus, putting her in front of Yura. Hwaryun orders Yura to hand over the remote working the Mirotic Guardian only to be interrupted by the arrival of the red-haired angel girl of Team Rachel. The angel girl explains that she got word from Daniel through the Emily terminal about Bam and Hwaryun's arrival, which she remains hyped to fight Hwaryun because she hates "pretty girls." The angel girl then flies down to attack Hwaryun, which the distraction allows for Yura to run past and up the stairwell.

Meanwhile, the close-combat duel between Bam and Daniel continues. Daniel taunting that he's already contacted his teammates about Bam and Hwaryun's arrival, and that the Hell Train will take off once Yura arrives at the Hell Train.

Up at the Hell Train's boarding platform, Rachel and her teammates watch as a floating staircase forms to connect the platform up to the Hell Train's side entrance.

    Season 2: Ch. 139 (Chapter 218)

Still in the tunnel between the Floor 1 Entrance and Helix Stairs, Boro stands over the defeated Danhwa stating that he's never heard of such a place on the Hell Train where you can return to the past. However, he informs Danhwa that the belief that you can get whatever you want on the Hell Train is a lie as you will just lose everything instead.

Meanwhile at the base of the Helix Stairs, Bam and Daniel have stopped dueling for the moment. Bam questions what Daniel and Team Rachel are trying to pull, which Daniel answers that he wants to go back to hell. Daniel then powers up another purple hand orb ready to continue their duel.

At that same time midway up the Helix Stairs, Hwaryun's forced to engage in a duel with Team Rachel's angel girl as Yura runs past them. The angel girl taunts Hwaryun for falling into their trap despite her abilities as Tower Guide, which Hwaryun questions why Team Rachel would leak information about their plan at Train City when they could have just gone for the Hell Train unnoticed. However, the angel girl states that to complete their plan requires for Bam and company to chase after them, which confuses Hwaryun. The angel girl then summons out her floating Metalfish pets to help battle against Hwaryun by having them try to bite her, which the angel girl pulls out her Emily terminal to further taunt the Guide.

The angel girl explains how Hwaryun's abilities as a Tower Guide has fallen for the distractions made by Emily. That her Guide powers are unable to read the artifical paths that were created through Emily, which allowed Team Rachel to lead people wherever they want. Hwaryun's unable to understand how Emily is creating Tower paths that she can't see, which the angel girl orders her Metalfish to attack. As if they're pufferfish, the Metalfish form spikes on their bodies that injure Hwaryun to the point of her ending up a bloody mess.

Back to the base of the Helix Stairs, the duel between Bam and Daniel continues. Daniel forms his purple orb into a massive ball that he then fires at Bam. In return, Bam attempts to counter with a shinsu Bang. However, Daniel shows that he can control his orb from far away, which just the slightest movement of his hand causes the orb he fired to move in an irregular way that avoids Bam's Bang, and successfully hits the latter. Bam remains standing despite starting to bleed from the last hit, which Daniel questions if the Slayer Candidate caught on to how his last attacked moved as if it's alive. In return, Bam notices how the orb that just hit him is still around and has a face on it that looks like it's in pain. As a result, Daniel explains his Necromancer ability. That the orb he controls is a living creature that moves based on the soul that lives within it.

Daniel taunts that they've won thanks to himself blocking Bam with his Necromancer abilities, the Mirotic Guardian blocking Bam's comrades, and his angel teammate blocking Hwaryun from reaching Yura. He further taunts that this is the end for Jue Viole Grace as the Hell Train will soon depart with only Team Rachel on board. In return, despite not wanting to use it just yet, Bam figures that he only has one choice left to make, and summons out the power of the Thorn.

    Season 2: Ch. 140 (Chapter 219)

During their duel at the base of the Helix Stairs, Daniel watches as the Thorn fully appears over Bam's shoulder. Knowing that the Thorn has the power of the Irregular, Enryu, Daniel isn't convinced that Bam's capable of controlling it. However, he starts to worry when he sees that Bam's prepared to use the Thorn. A brief flashback is seen where Hwaryun provides Bam a warning to not use the Thorn for more than ten minutes. That going any further than ten minutes will cause Bam to lose control and go berserk as his body is still developing. In the present, Bam is set to attack once more using the Thorn's power, but it's at this point that Boro appears having finally caught up. Boro notices that it's Daniel that Bam is fighting. Thus, revealing that Boro and Daniel are past companions.

Meanwhile at Floor 1's Entrance, Ran, Aka, and Moontari's battle against the Mirotic Guardian continues. Ran remains pinned to the floor by the Mirotic Guardian after the counterattack failed, which Aka makes it their objective to go in and save the former. While that's going on, Beta is seen appearing out of the elevator entrance. Beta spots the current fight going down against the Mirotic Guardian, and remains confused as to what's happening.

Back to the base of the Helix Stairs, Boro questions if the person he sees before him really is Daniel, which Daniel isn't surprised to see that Boro's back, and asks if Aka's also here. Thus, revealing that Aka was also their past companion. Boro remains confused as to what's going on as he was under the belief that Daniel was killed on the Hell Train. However, Daniel ignores it, and explains that he's returning to hell in order to see Roen; their female companion that died on the Hell Train. He orders Boro to sit back and watch, which Daniel then gets a message on his Pocket to return to the Hell Train boarding platform. Daniel then retreats back up their Helix Stairs, which Bam and Boro chase after. During the chase, Bam questions Boro what's going on. Boro answers that he's also confused not knowing what Daniel's plotting. He explains to Bam that Daniel was his past teammate who supposedly died over 200 years ago during their last journey on the Hell Train.

At that same time midway up the Helix Stairs, Hwaryun lies on the stairwell defeated after being ravaged by the angel girl's Metalfish. The angel girl then gets a message on her Emily terminal to return to the Hell Train platform, but as she's about to finish off Hwaryun, she spots Daniel running towards her. Daniel gives the order to retreat, and to also take Hwaryun with them given that her abilities as a Tower Guide will be useful to them. In return, the angel girl sees that Bam and Boro are close behind Daniel, which disappoints the angel girl knowing that her fun is over.

Meanwhile on the Hell Train boarding platform, Yura is seen having made it up the Helix Stairs. Rachel gives Yura a friendly greeting, and then states that it's time to board the train.

Returning to Floor 1's Entrance, Beta joins the fight by supporting Aka and Moontari against the Mirotic Guardian. Ignition Weapons turn out to be effective against the guardian, which Beta's ignited fist knocks the guardian away from Ran to free the latter. Meanwhile, three newcomers are seen having arrived out of the entrance elevator to join the fight. These newcomers being Akraptor, Prince, and Miseng of Team Sweet-and-Sour.

    Season 2: Ch. 141 (Chapter 220)

At Floor 1's Entrance, Akraptor, Prince and Miseng notice the current battle against the Mirotic Guardian; having been told ahead of time by Rak that they'll find their current target, Cassano, here. During the fight, Beta's Ignition Weapon abilities start to not have an effect like they were previously, which he's warned by Moontari that the Mirotic Guardian's been acting oddly where it switches between being a physical form and an illusion. Akraptor provides support by using his umbrella weapon to fire a beam of shinsu at the guardian, which Beta and company finally realize that Team Sweet-and-Sour has arrived. Beta remains unconvinced that they will be of much help without their stronger teammates, Koon and Ehwa, but Prince assures him that they've gone through training.

As a result, Miseng summons out a flower on her hair similar to what Verdi used on her to power her up at the Workshop Battle. Implied that the flower powers her up, Miseng (being a Scout) next summons out her Observer. Using the Observer, Miseng analyzes the surrounding area, and notices how the area actually works. That Floor 1's Entrance gate is a contraption that's creating the Mirotic Guardian. She orders Akraptor to strike at the gate, which Akraptor accepts, and uses his umbrella to fire a shinsu beam at said gate. The gate falls over due to the blast, which sure enough, the device is seen on it that was creating the Mirotic Guardian. With the Mirotic Guardian acting out-of-sorts due to the gate being destroyed, Prince, Beta and Ran all strike against it, which finally disposes of the Mirotic Guardian for good.

Ran, Aka, Moontari, Beta, Akraptor, Prince, and Miseng all regroup following the battle. Prince tries to gloat only for no one to take him seriously. Meanwhile, Akraptor reveals that they get the gist of what's going on thanks to what Rak told them, and that the fake tournament's still going on to make sure that Train City doesn't fall into chaos. Akraptor also assures Aka that they won't get in the way as their objective is to just capture Cassano. He also informs the group that Koon's taking a different path up to the Hell Train boarding platform. Given that Ran and Beta's objective as Team Nobic to catch Team Rachel is also related to Cassano, they all finally pass through the destroyed gate of Floor 1's Entrance to make it to the Hell Train.

    Season 2: Ch. 142 (Chapter 221)

Seeing that Bam and Boro are on their tail running up the Helix Stairs, the angel-girl accepts Daniel's order to retreat, which she commands one of her Metalfish to carry the unconscious Hwaryun back with them. Seeing that Hwaryun's being taken hostage, Bam activates the Thorn's power to increase his running speed up the spiral staircase, much to the angel-girl's surprise that Bam's caught up to them.

Daniel warns her that they're dealing with a Slayer Candidate who has the power of the Thorn, which the angel-girl becomes interested to test Bam out by attacking him with her Metalfish. However, Bam easily destroys it with one of his shinsu Bangs. The angel-girl counters by having her destroyed Metalfish split up into many smaller Metalfish, which the swarm of smaller Metalfish continue their charge at Bam. This time around, Bam doesn't have enough shinsu Bangs to counter the swarm of small Metalfish. The angel-girl taunts him that there's nothing he can do now except watch Team Rachel leave. However, Bam decides to call upon even more power from the Thorn.

Meanwhile, the group that defeated the Mirotic Guardian (Ran, Aka, Moontari, Beta, Akraptor, Prince and Miseng) is seen making their way through the tunnel that leads to the base of the Helix Stairs. As they pass by the defeated Danhwa, Ran mentions how surprising it is that Miseng didn't lose control using Verdi's power-up flower like what happened at the Workshop Battle. In return, Prince explains that they've been training with Verdi's help ever since in order to control the flower's power. Meanwhile, Akraptor assures everyone that they have nothing to worry about regarding what Khun's group is doing to reach the Hell Train.

Back to midway up the Helix Stairs, Bam's battle with the angel-girl continues. Using even more power from the Thorn, Bam shoots off several shinsu Bangs, and is now able to control their movement to the point of killing all the small Metalfish that made up the swarm, much to the angel-girl's shock, and leaves Daniel wondering just how much of a monster Bam actually is. A blast of shinsu is then shot up at the angel-girl from down below, which they all see that it came from Akraptor's umbrella (his group having arrived at the base of the Helix Stairs). The angel-girl manages to avoid Akraptor's attack as Daniel is left disgusted to see that his old comrade, Aka, amongst them.

Meanwhile up at the Hell Train's boarding platform, Team Rachel stands ready to board the Hell Train now that Yura's caught up to them. The train worker, Poro Poe, leads Team Rachel towards the temporary stairwell made up of floating platforms that will take them up to the Hell Train's side entrance. However, it's at this point a door opens on the boarding platform, much to Team Rachel's confusion. Looking towards the new arrivals, they see a group of Regulars led by Khun appearing out of it. Khun asking jokingly if Team Rachel's trying to leave without them.

    Season 2: Ch. 143 (Chapter 222)

The 3-man group of Khun, Wangnan and Ehwa appear out of the door that resides on the Hell Train's boarding platform, much to Rachel and her teammates' confusion as to how they're here. Along with pointing out how lucky he is that their other target, Cassano, is here, Khun taunts Rachel with a greeting as they haven't seen one another for so long.

Rachel questions how Khun made it here, which Khun explains that after arriving late to Train City, he met up with Rak, who told him everything that went down so far. Khun then explains how he figured out that Floor 5's Control Center and Floor 6's Skyscraper levels for Train City's main elevator were actually fake, and that the secret elevator for Train City's true Control Center and Skyscraper levels to reach the Hell Train's boarding platform without going Floor 1's Entrance route was actually hidden on Floor 3's Restaurant level. He adds that even though the secret elevator was blocked off to non-Regulars, it turned out to be easy to just wreck it, and then use his floating Lighthouse to carry them up the elevator shaft.

Poro complains that Khun's actions broke the rules of Train City, which Khun counters that it was Poro, the Hell Train Conductor, and Team Rachel who broke the rules to begin with acting behind the scenes to sneak Team Rachel onto the Hell Train as special VIPs. Khun then points out that Poro has no choice now but to allow them to board as well, which Poro admits is the case, and questions Team Rachel how they will resolve this. Rachel assures him that her team will take care of this, and advises Yura to go on ahead without them. As Yura heads up the platform stairs to the Hell Train's side entrance, Rachel, Cassano, and the jousting stick teammate stand ready to face Khun, Wangnan, and Ehwa. Despite knowing that Cassano is a powerful opponent, Wangnan and Ehwa stand ready to fight and capture him in order to bring him back to the comatose Horyang.

Midway up the Helix Stairs, the reunion goes down between Daniel, Boro, and Aka as Bam and the angel-girl watch. Daniel finds the reunion disgusting, which Aka remains confused as to how Daniel's alive having heard that he died on another Hell Train trip trying to raise Roen from the head. Daniel claims that this event did happen, but that it was during that trip that he discovered a way to finally bring Roen back. Thus, he's returning to the Hell Train in order to bring "that" guy back. Boro and Aka being shocked that Daniel's planning to meet with the crazy bastard that they met hundreds of years ago.

In return, Daniel powers up one of his living soul orbs claiming that they're all cowards for running away after Roen died; including Sachi. Thus revealing that one of the top D-rank Regulars, Sachi, was also their past comrade. Saying goodbye to his past comrades and Jue Viole Grace, Daniel uses his orb to destroy the part of the Helix Stairs between him and his enemies. Bam manages to jump the stair gap using the power of the Thorn to chase after the retreating Daniel and angel-girl. During the chase, Bam's left wondering what it is that Rachel is plotting on the Hell Train, and if it's involved with the guy that Daniel's trying to bring back.

Meanwhile on the Hell Train boarding platform, Cassano finds it disappointing that Horyang chose such a foolish suicidal group rather than team up with him. However, Wangnan remains ready, and pulls out his shinsu bomb arsenal. Wangnan claims that it was a special bomb made specifically for Cassano, and proceeds to throw one at the Arm Devil. The bomb explodes, and to Cassano's shock, the explosion ball moves through the air as if it's being controlled, and manages to hit him, even injuring one of his arms. The explosion ball then returns to Wangnan's hand ready to continue the fight.

Nearby, Khun wielding a knife approaches Rachel. He warns her that there's many things that he wishes to hear from her.

    Season 2: Ch. 144 (Chapter 223)

On the Hell Train boarding platform, Khun stands opposite Rachel after stating that he wants answers from her. In return, Rachel questions if it's regarding all the questionable moves she's done up to this point, such as when she pushed Bam away on the 2nd Floor, and what her overall goal is, which Khun calls her a sly woman knowing that she hasn't changed as someone who hides her true thoughts. Rachel agrees that being called a sly woman is most likely the truth, but points out that a certain someone (Bam) sees her as a star that shines bright. However, Khun calls her filthy trash, and questions what Bam will think of Rachel if he was to find out everything that his supposed star pulled. In return, Rachel pulls out her Lighthouses ready to face Khun.

Nearby, Wangnan wields his new bomb weapon in his hand after managing to damage Cassano. The Arm Devil remains confused as to how Wangnan has a shinsu bomb that can damage his Ignition Weapon body. In return, Wangnan explains how its an Antimatter Bomb; a special bomb for Cassano specifically that was created by researcher Sophia at Workshop, which she designed them as a counter to Ignition Weapons. Wangnan notes that it took him awhile to train at using it as along with damaging Living Ignition Weapons, it also damages his own hand. However, he doesn't care if it means that he can restore Horyang to normal, and throws the Antimatter Bomb at Cassano again.

Ignoring the Antimatter Bomb, Cassano charges at Wangnan knowing that he just has to dispose of the bomb thrower. However, Ehwa blocks off his charge with her flames, which she introduces herself as a member of the Yeon Family. Cassano realizes the danger he's in also having to go up with a member of one of the Ten Great Families, and finally activates his left Devil Arm to hit away the Antimatter Bomb. Seeing that he finally has Cassano taking them seriously, Wangnan pulls out another shinsu bomb from his arsenal. Wangnan throws it into the floor to attack Cassano from below with another Antimatter Bomb, which Ehwa casts her flames onto the floor to perform a combination attack with the Antimatter Bomb. She questions Cassano what he thinks will happen to him being hit by an Antimatter Bomb that's powered up by Yeon Flames, which he's hit by a massive explosion.

At that same time, Khun approaches Rachel ready to finish off the two people that have annoyed him greatly (the other being Cassano). Rachel questions if Khun can really take her, and enlarges one of her Lighthouses. She then launches her large Lighthouse to smash Khun only to be shocked when she witnesses Khun easily cut through her lighthouse with his knife. Khun admits his surprise that Rachel's capable of compressing items to change their size, but taunts her by asking if this is all she's capable of doing. He continues to taunt Rachel calling her out as someone incapable of doing anything by herself, which the jousting stick user of Team Rachel wonders if it's about time for him to get involved. However, it's at this point that Daniel and the angel-girl have made it up the Helix Stairs followed closely by Bam. Upon arriving on the Hell Train's boarding platform, Bam's shocked to finally see Rachel again for the first time since the 2nd Floor's Submerged Fish Hunt test.

    Season 2: Ch. 145 (Chapter 224)

Everyone on the Hell Train boarding platform remains unable to say anything after seeing Bam arrive from the Helix Stairs. Upon seeing Rachel in the distance, Bam remains stunned in place not knowing what to say since it's the first time he's seen her since the 2nd Floor.

Meanwhile at the base of the Helix Stairs, Aka's shown to have used his large body to protect Moontari, Beta, Akraptor, Prince, and Miseng from the rubble after Daniel destroyed a section of the stairwell. Up at the destroyed section of the Helix Stairs, Boro's shown to have managed to survive as well, but he remains stuck on the lower side not knowing how he's supposed to jump the gap.

Returning to the Hell Train boarding platform, Daniel looks around to get the gist of what's going on. He sees that along with a Khun family member being here, Cassano's currently fighting Wangnan and Ehwa, and that Yura's already going up the floating stairwell to the Hell Train's side entrance. Meanwhile, Bam remains unable to say anything as his head is filled with a ton of questions that he wants to ask Rachel. Before he could speak, Rachel's the one to talk first by asking Bam why he followed her, and why he's still alive, which shocks him.

Nearby, Wangnan and Ehwa's fight with Cassano stops for a brief moment. Wangnan makes it clear that researcher Sophia designed Antimatter Bomb not to kill Cassano, but to capture him. The revelation irritates Cassano as further proof that Sophia was just using him and Horyang to further her Living Ignition Weapon work, but Wangnan tries to convince him that this isn't the case, and that they're only interested in bringing Cassano back to wake up Horyang. In return, Cassano admits that he will do that one day, but only after he's accomplished his goal. Ready to continue fighting, Cassano releases the power of his other Devil Arm that he took for Horyang while claiming that the latter doesn't deserve to wake up if he's unable to realize the meaning behind the power they've been given.

At that same time, Bam remains lost in thought to answer Rachel given how much the question about him living caught him off-guard. Poro then heads over to Daniel to question what's going on given that it was just supposed to be Team Rachel making it here. However, Daniel orders him to be silent due to how obvious it is that one wrong move could set off Bam. As a result, Daniel whispers to Poro to use the flying Navigator vehicle so that they can escape to the Hell Train before the current battle erupts into mayhem.

    Season 2: Ch. 146 (Chapter 225)

Standing opposite Rachel on the Hell Train's boarding platform, Bam's unable to understand why she would ask him why he's not dead. Bam explaining that up to this point, he's been chasing after her under the belief that she has an excuse for pushing him away.

Nearby, Cassano with both Devil Arms activated stands ready to continue his fight with Wangnan and Ehwa. Seeing Horyang's Devil Arm powered up on Cassano, Wangnan wonders if this means that Cassano's truly become a "Completed One" amongst Living Ignition Weapons. Cassano then fires a blast of shinsu from Horyang's stolen Devil Arm at Wangnan, which shows that he has full control over it. Wangnan manages to dodge it, but is forced to accept that Cassano's succeeded in becoming an ultimate weapon that can attack with both Devil Arms. Amongst Rachel's team, the watching Traveller remains worried for Cassano, and calls out to the Arm Devil not to overdo it due to the "Completed One" form still being in an unstable state. Hearing that, Wangnan pulls out another shinsu bomb believing that they still got a chance.

Meanwhile at the base of the Helix Stairs, Bam's companions question how they're supposed climb the destroyed stairwell. Aiming to fly up, Beta steps forward with his Living Ignition Weapon activated.

Back on the Hell Train's boarding platform, Poro remains unconvinced by Daniel's plan to have Team Rachel escape on the Navigator, and that the Hell Train's captain will dislike it. However, Daniel assures him that the captain will approve of it given that he's another Yura fan, and that they have no choice due to a certain someone. Daniel and Poro look in Bam's direction, which they see the Slayer Candidate acting out of sorts as if he's about to explode.

Still in denial that Rachel screwing him over had no strings attached to it, Bam tries to call out to Rachel that he doesn't care about the Tower. That all he needs is her. However, Rachel makes it clear to Bam that her goal to reach the top of the Tower is much more important than being with him, which shocks him. Refusing to accept this answer, Bam finds such a scenario to be unacceptable, which his unstable mind causes the power of the Thorn to go haywire.

At that same time, Yura's made it to the top of the floating stairs to reach the Hell Train's side entrance. She places her Express Ticket into the door's ticket slot, which the door opens for her, and welcomes Yura to the Hell Train.

    Season 2: Ch. 147 (Chapter 226)

Everyone on the Hell Train's boarding platform watches in confusion as Bam with the Thorn's power goes haywire. Daniel looks to Yura to see if she's made it into the Hell Train yet, which he sees her testing the gate to see if she can enter it. Now that Yura's secured at the Hell Train, Daniel once more orders Poro to use the flying Navigator as a vehicle to escape. Despite Poro refusing to go along with it as he doesn't want to break any more of Train City's rules, Daniel pushes further, and reminds Poro that this is their chance to see Roen brought back to life. Thus, revealing that Poro's another past companion of Daniel, Boro and Aka where everything for them went wrong on a past Hell Train trip.

Meanwhile, Wangnan and Ehwa's battle with Cassano stalls due to them noticing that Bam's gone unstable with the Thorn's power. Beta is also seen having flown up to the Hell Train's boarding platform while carrying the rest of Bam's companions on his back. Despite his target being Cassano, Beta becomes confused as to what's going on with Bam. Khun tries to call out to Bam to keep it together, but the unstable Bam remains lost in thought trying to make sense of what the answer is as to why Rachel's doing all this. In the end, Bam remains convinced that all he needs is Rachel.

Knowing that what Daniel said about Roen is the truth, Poro heads off to retrieve the Navigator. Daniel then calls out to his teammates, such as the angel-girl and jousting-stick user, about the plan to escape on the Navigator. As a result, the angel-girl and jousting-stick user head over to pick up Cassano, which they block off Wangnan and Ehwa from further attacking the Arm Devil. In addition, Hwaryun is still seen being carried away with them on a Metalfish. Khun remains confused as to what to do next to resolve this situation as Poro's seen using his remote to call the Navigator towards the boarding platform.

Daniel then arrives at Rachel's location to tell her of the Navigator escape plan, which results in the two of them running away. However, their efforts are suddenly stopped by Bam quickly jumping over to Daniel's location. Powered by the unstable Thorn, Bam proceeds to smash Daniel into the ground, which such power catches the attention of everyone. Now standing up close to Rachel, the unstable Bam warns her that she's not going anywhere.

    Season 2: Ch. 148 (Chapter 227)

Believing that there's no other option, the unstable Bam walks towards Rachel aiming to stop her himself. Khun continues to try to call out to Bam to get a grip, but is unable to get through to him due to the unstable Thorn starting to take over Bam's mind. Standing before Rachel on the Hell Train's boarding platform, Bam asks for Rachel to return to him to the place that they started at. That he can't understand why Rachel would climb the Tower and hurt so many people when they were already happy back then when it was just the two of them.

It's at this point that the jousting-stick user of Team Rachel charges at Bam; excited for a chance to finally take on the Slayer Candidate known as Jue Viole Grace. The result is Bam and the jousting-stick user engaging in a close-combat duel, which the jousting-stick user's able to keep up with Bam's moves despite them being powered up by the Thorn.

Meanwhile, Daniel remains lying on the floor after Bam smashed him in the back, but is shown to still be alive. He informs Team Rachel that Bam took out his legs.

Khun then calls out to Wangnan and Ehwa to continue their attack on Cassano while he deals with Bam himself. Wangnan agrees to it, and throws his shinsu bomb at Cassano and the angel-girl to start the fight again. Meanwhile, Bam begins to overpower the jousting-stick user as he takes in more power from the Thorn. Khun then manages to trap Rachel within his Lighthouse field, but unbeknownst to him, Daniel uses his Necromancer ability to send out purple orbs that destroy Khun's Lighthouses, which frees Rachel. Daniel then uses Necromancer on his own legs to temporarily get them working again, which Poro is seen arriving at his location piloting the flying Navigator.

The close-combat duel between Bam and the jousting-stick user continues. The latter of which continues to get excited at how much faster the Slayer Candidate's getting the more he relies on the Thorn. As for Bam, he thinks about how there's someone in his mind telling him that the Thorn is only part of a greater power. Thus, Bam continues to call upon it more and more to reach the highest point.

Meanwhile, Rachel and Daniel are seen having made it to the navigator. Rachel looking back at Bam as he continues his duel with the jousting-stick user.

    Season 2: Ch. 149 (Chapter 228)

Bam continues his duel with the jousting-stick user on the Hell Train's boarding platform. It reaches a point where Bam manages to push his opponent back, and even damages the jousting stick. Excited by the fight, the jousting-stick user realizes that he'll be dead if he doesn't go at the Slayer Candidate with the intent to kill.

Meanwhile, Poro yells out to everyone on Team Rachel to get to the Navigator so that they can escape to the Hell Train. Thus, Team Rachel all move to make their escape. Boro tries to head over to Daniel only for the latter to use his Necromancer ability to block the former from reaching him. Rachel then blocks Khun's path with her enlarged Lighthouse in order to escape. Nearby, the angel-girl's Metalfish swarm blocks Ehwa's flames from reaching them, which provides an opening for her and Cassano to escape towards the Navigator with Hwaryun as their hostage.

The jousting-stick user stands opposite Bam, and admits that thanks to the power of the Thorn, the Slayer Candidate is proving capable of one day becoming their God. He brings up how he now understands why Baragav (the Mad Dog from the Workshop Battle) struggled to take Bam down, and reveals that he has a history with said Mad Dog. The battle resumes, but the jousting-stick user's unable to damage Bam, which he starts to believe that he's finally found a worthy opponent. The angel-girl, nicknamed Angel, then arrives with Cassano atop one of her Metalfish to pick the jousting-stick user up, which she calls him Mad Dog. Thus, revealing that the jousting-stick user is another Mad Dog like Baragav. Disappointed that their fight is over, Mad Dog gets on Angel's Metalfish while announcing that he will be looking forward to fighting Jue Viole Grace again.

Irritated that they've let their targets escape, Bam's companions are forced to watch Team Rachel escape towards the Hell Train on the flying Navigator and Angel's Metalfish. However, to Team Rachel's shock, Bam manages to boost himself up to their location utilizing the power of the Thorn. Bam prepares a powered-up punch to stop them from escaping, but Rachel moves to stand between him and her team; ordering Bam to kill her if he can't accept her goal to climb the Tower. Bam powers down unable to do it, which just like what happened on the 2nd Floor, Rachel pushes him away. As Bam falls back down to the Hell Train's boarding platform, Rachel tells him that he can't come up to her location.

    Season 2: Ch. 150 (Chapter 229)

As Bam falls away from Rachel, he's unable to understand why he's not allowed to be with her. Moments after, Team Rachel atop the Navigator and Angel's Metalfish arrives at the Hell Train's side entrance. They find Yura waiting for them, which Daniel orders everyone to get into the Hell Train quickly before the entrance appears someplace else. Meanwhile from the Hell Train's boarding platform, Khun calls out to Bam trying to get him back to his senses.

As he falls, Bam thinks back to a time when he was with Rachel. One time when she came to visit him in his rocky prison, Rachel desires to visit a mountain with Bam, who finds it difficult to believe that the mountain is bigger than the world above him. They look to the hole of light at the top of the prison room that Rachel came out from, which Bam questions if he committed some big sin back in the day as he's not a chosen one that's allowed to live up there. However, Bam remains satisfied just knowing that Rachel's choosing to visit him despite not being a chosen one, and even calls Rachel his "light" as if she's an angel. Bam questions if it would be possible to meet more friends and angels if he was able to go up to the same world as Rachel, which leaves her unable to say anything back. In the present, Bam hopes that someday, he'll be able to go up to the same place where Rachel is.

On the Hell Train's boarding platform, Khun puts a new plan in action. After confirming that Wangnan has an Express Ticket, Khun orders Beta to be the one to catch Bam before he crashes down onto the Hell Train's boarding platform, which Beta quickly heads off towards Bam. Khun then calls out to Ran to support him with his plan by needing to be up close to the Hell Train, which Ran admits he can get Khun there as long as he's supported by Khun's Lighthouses. Pulling out his White Heavenly Mirror knife to store several companions within it, Khun asks for Wangnan and Ehwa to be the ones to stop Team Rachel.

Meanwhile, Team Rachel remains at the Hell Train side entrance making final preparations to enter. They agree to take Hwaryun along since having a hostage will be useful, which Rachel, Yura, Cassano, Traveller, Angel and Mad Dog all head for the entrance. It's at this point that Khun and Ran appear behind them having been boosted up by Khun's Lighthouse field and Ran's black cloud ability. After Ran holds off Cassano's Devil Arm blast, Khun uses Ran's lightning spear to shoot the White Heavenly Mirror at Team Rachel when in actuality, it was to get the knife through the Hell Train's entrance. Thus, getting Wangnan and Ehwa stored within the White Heavenly Mirror into the Hell Train. As they watch Team Rachel finally enter the Hell Train, Khun says some last words to Rachel that they will meet again at a higher place.

At that same time, Beta's shown to have caught the falling Bam in time. However, Bam's fallen unconscious.

    Season 2: Ch. 151 (Chapter 230)

Bam's companions all watch as the platform stairwell leading up to the Hell Train's side entrance disappears. Seeing that Team Rachel, Yura, and their hostage, Hwaryun, are now all aboard, Poro on the Navigator sends word to the Hell Train captain that they can now depart from Train City. Poro also thinks about how Daniel promised him that he will bring Roen back to life, and that once she is, they can finally return to climbing up the Tower once more.

The Hell Train departs from the Train City station. Within the train, Team Rachel come across the Revolution Road within the express, which appears at every Hell Train entrance as a white road of light on the floor. Daniel explains how it's the road that Jahad and the Ten Great Family leaders followed in order to eventually change the Tower.

Meanwhile, Bam's companions all regroup on the Hell Train boarding platform; all in disappointment that they failed in stopping Team Rachel. Beta also returns to them with Bam, but he informs the rest of the team that Bam has gone unconscious due to going unstable with the Thorn.

At that same time, the fake Train City tournament is still going on where it's reached the final match between Team Royal and Team Bero. While that's going on, Rak and Hanool have been continuing their part in the tournament. As Rak and Hanool watch the final match from the sideline, it turns out that Blarode and Quaetro are with them having also made it to Train City. Blarode explains that as long as they don't disappoint him, they're still supporting Bam's companions for the journey to the Hell Train.

Returning to the Hell Train boarding platform, Bam's companions discuss what to do next. Aka and Boro go over Daniel's story to the group of how they were all once companions on a past Hell Train journey only for it to come as a surprise to them that Daniel is still alive after supposedly dying hundreds of years ago, and is now working with FUG. They then deduce that their only option now to catch up to the Hell Train is to climb up the Tower the normal way in order to reach the next train station.

Meanwhile within the Hell Train, the White Heavenly Mirror that contains Wangnan and Ehwa is seen stabbed into the ceiling above Team Rachel. The White Heavenly Mirror having a hidden function where once it's far enough away from Khun, the White Heavenly Mirror's seal will release, which will free Wangnan and Ehwa.

Carrying the unconscious Bam with them, the group finally departs from Train City's boarding platform to begin their journey to catch up to the Hell Train. While unconscious, Bam continues to hear a voice in his head telling him that he has the power to go higher.

Long Summary

    The Emergency Exit Maze

Boro suggests that they leave some people behind to continue the tournament

Back to the Train City Stadium, Hwaryun gets it across to the group that she will only guide them through the emergency exit maze to reach the Hell Train Entrance if they agree to cooperate with catching up to Team Rachel. Aka is surprised by the appearance of Hwaryun, who he believes to be a light-bearer. He states that even a light-bearer wouldn't be able to navigate the emergency exit maze, but Boro interrupts him saying that if it's her, it may be possible. Aka's confused by Boro's answer, which Boro explains that Hwaryun happens to be a guide.

The answer shocks Aka, which Hwaryun answers to be the truth, and that they don't have to worry about getting through the maze of Train City as long as they follow everything that she says. Rak jumps down to the group getting excited that it sounds like it's about time for a fight. The alligator says to Bam to count him in regarding the journey through the emergency exit maze. However, Boro informs everyone that their group is too large now to watch over everyone, and suggests that they're better off splitting into two separate teams so that the teamwork isn't too crowded. One asks what Boro means by splitting up, which Boro gets to the first order of business.

Boro reminds the group of Hana's hand injury, and advices that a group stay back to watch over her, and to make sure that the fake tournament continues to run without any of the other opposing teams noticing what's going on. Boro points the group to the crowd of spectators still watching them, and warns Bam and company that if these people find out about the fake tournament, they could get in the way of their chase after Rachel. It could also lead to the FUG Test Administrators that are allied with Team Rachel finding out, and attempt to stall their chase after said team.

Hwaryun gives a group led by Sia the job to free the main elevator

With all that said, Boro suggest that the two teams will be a group that goes after Team Rachel, and a second group that will stay here to go along with the fake tournament. Aka agrees for his team to go along with it as long as there's a right amount for each team, which Ran also agrees on behalf of Team Nobic. One asks how the Team Rachel pursuit team is suppose to catch up to said team through the Stadium's emergency exit, which Hwaryun answers that it will be difficult, but there's a way. She states that the Team Rachel pursuit team will be split into two groups as well.

Along with the group that goes after Team Rachel at the Hell Train Entrance, the other half of the pursuit team will be the group that reclaims the main Train City elevator from Yura's allied D-rankers, who have been keeping the elevator stuck on one of the floors so that everyone remains trapped on the Stadium floor. Hwaryun also adds that she's already heard of how Team Nobic has a light-bear (Sia Sia) at the control center, and will be tasked to make sure that the main elevator will move faster than normal once they reclaim it so that they can reach the Hell Train Entrance at a quicker pace.

Boro agrees that that sounds like a good plan, and advices that they use two Express Ticket holders from each team (for a total of six from the Bam, Nobic, and Aka teams) as the amount that will be used for the Team Rachel pursuit group. Bam agrees as well, and states that it's time to get going. Some time passes as the fake tournament continues with the second match happening off-screen, and the third match between the Royal and H teams is about to begin.

Rak, Hanool, and Hana, are left behind, but Rak is greeted by a familiar face

The bot asks for the Regulars of the two teams to enter the arena, and states that the game will be Hide & Seek. The game begins as an annoyed Rak watches the match unfold while Hanool sits by with a resting Hana. Rak remains irritated that he wasn't chosen to be a part of the Team Rachel pursuit group, but Hanool advices the alligator not to get angry since the pursuit team was established to have the strongest people go amongst the group.

However, an enraged Rak orders Hanool to shut up, and reminds Boro's student that he's the strongest out of everyone here. Hanool discusses with Rak of how he's started to realize that the Hell Train is probably not meant for someone like him. He reveals to Rak that he was even too scared to participate in the Workshop Battle, but Rak calls him pathetic for such fear.

Rak is left annoyed at all the turtles around him being lousy as someone is seen approaching the alligator, Hanool, and Hana. This person finds it amazing that Rak still calls other people turtles, and asks if the alligator is sick of it. Rak turns his attention to the new guy speaking to him, and realizes that it's someone familiar.

Bam's Pursuit Team follow Hwaryun through the emergency exit maze

Meanwhile, Hwaryun is seen leading a five person group of Bam, Boro, Ran, Aka, and Moontari, through the Stadium's emergency exit tunnels. Bam asks Hwaryun if they can really make it running through the emergency exit maze like this, but Hwaryun orders him to shut up, and asks if Bam knows what he's in currently. Hwaryun warns Bam and company that the maze of Train City was developed by a disciple of Workshop, and was designed specifically for ordinary people to forever get lost here. She states that it's even possible for her to not get through it on the first try despite being a guide. Hwaryun advices the group to just follow after her no matter what running down the fastest maze route she can see, and save as much energy as they can for the upcoming fight against Team Rachel.

Boro asks Bam if it's really alright to follow after Hwaryun, which Bam answers that it should be ok. Bam then asks in return how Boro and Aka know one another wondering if the two are friends, which Boro answers that he and Aka were once comrades on a previous Hell Train run. However, Aka rejects ever once considering Boro his friend, which Boro answers that he never liked Aka either. Boro brings up the incident back then, and how ever since then, Aka has become a greedy hound who hurts any newbie that arrives in Train City. However, Aka counters that it's better than being the runaway loser known as Boro who hid away at a hideout after the incident.

Dan finds the button that opens the maze door blocking the Pursuit Team's path

Aka adds that he's doing his best to return to the Hell Train, and by doing so, he hopes to someday find the girl from back then. The mention of the girl also grabs Boro's attention. Hwaryun contacts Sia wondering if Dan has already started moving, which Sia informs her that he's running along the emergency exit paths using the routes that have been provided by the guide to reach the main Train City elevator.

Dan is seen zooming down an emergency exit tunnel, which Sia gloats that he's the fastest on their team to get the job done. Hwaryun is glad to hear the report, but warns Sia not to stray from the path that was given to Dan as the slightest route mistake could lead them to complete failure. Hwaryun also warns Sia that they're coming up on the Hell Train Entrance, and will be delayed if Sia doesn't manage to open up the door to the area, which amazes Sia hearing that the guide has already gotten them so far without making a single mistake. Sia answer Hwaryun that she will make sure to be the guide on Dan's side properly.

As the Team Rachel pursuit groups make their way through the emergency exit maze, Dan reaches a red button on the floor. He wonders if it's the button Hwaryun mentioned that will allow the Bam's group to enter the Hell Train Entrance area, and decides to press it. Sure enough, a door opens on Bam's side as they continue to make their way through the maze. Moontari mentions how this is turning out to be amazing, which Boro admits that this is the advantage of having a Tower guide. Hwaryun asks the group to continue following her as by walk beyond the doorway that Dan opened up for them. Meanwhile, at another location of the emergency exit maze is Beta, who's also on the move.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_125.jpg
Beta finds the correct maze path to reach the level the main elevator is stuck on

Sia asks for Beta to listen to him carefully, and reminds him that the others are traveling through the emergency exit maze to the lower floor of Train City in order to reach the Hell Train Entrance. However, it's his job specifically to deal with the Regulars allied with Yura, who have blocked the elevator from moving off a Train City floor above the Stadium level.

She orders for Beta to take care of them, which Beta admits that he already knows all that, and is glad to know that this pretty much confirms that Cassano is here somewhere. Beta pictures the emergency exit maze in his head, and is proud to think that since he's been turned into a Living Ignition Weapon, he can piece together the date provided by Hwaryun to find the best route to his end goal in the maze.

Soon enough, Beta pops out of the maze, and stands at the main Train City elevator entrance that's above the Stadium where the four Regulars that are allied with Yura are keeping the elevator stuck. One of the surprised Regulars asks how Beta managed to get here without using the elevator, which an enraged Beta yells at the four of them that he needs to use it.

Beta informs the Pursuit Team that Yura's followers sabotaged the main elevator

Beta charges forward, and begins to clear away the four Regulars that are keeping the main elevator blocked. He smashes the one who asked the question down to the floor, which shocks the other Regulars. One of them prepares a shinsu Bang claiming that Beta has no right trying to access Yura's elevator. However, Beta activates his Dionysos ignition, and knocks away the Regular before he could get his Bang off; claiming that the main elevator now belongs to him.

The two remaining Regulars watch as Beta slams the Regular he just attacked into the nearby wall with his Dionysos ignition. Beta asks if the remaining to have any objections to his claim, but soon defeats them as well. With Yura's four Regulars now out of the way, Beta approaches the stuck elevator door wondering if it's about time for him to meet Cassano. However, upon closer inspection of the broken elevator buttons, Beta realizes that something is amiss. He sends warning to Hwaryun that the elevator has been sabotaged, which irritates the guide having to admit that Yura is a smart one.

Meanwhile, Team Rachel continues to follow the mechanical red-bird guide up the Helix Stairs towards the Skyscraper Platform where the Hell Train is currently stationed. They reach the top of the stairs as Rachel looks upon the giant object floating above her. Daniel looks as well, and is glad to see that he's finally made it back to the Hell Train. Above Team Rachel, a massive express known as the Hell Train is seen floating above.

Rachel's Team Reach the Hell Train Platform

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_127.jpg
The navigator leads Team Rachel up to the Hell Train's Skyscraper Platform

Angel asks what the hell it is they're looking at due to the express' size, which Rachel answers that this must be the Hell Train. Daniel assures them that what they're looking at is indeed the Hell Train, which amazes Angel since she can't even see the end of it in the distance. She mentions that it must be bigger than a floating boat like the Archimedes, which Daniel replies that it's way bigger.

He mentions that it's more times bigger than he can count when compared to the Archimedes. This leaves the rest of Team Rachel wondering just what on earth could be in the Hell Train that it would need to be so big. Rachel notices a small white door on the side of the Hell Train, and asks if that's the entrance. Daniel answers that he's surprised to see the gate already before them since it appears randomly all along the edge of the Hell Train. As a result, newcomers wouldn't know which part of the train they would be entering. Daniel warns the taem that entering the side door might make things more complicated, and figures that it won't be an easy start, which annoys Angel since she can't tell if the stick-biter is telling the truth or not.

At this point, a person with a dog approaches Team Rachel at the Hell Train platform, and is glad to see that Daniel has arrived safely. Team Rachel turn their attention to the person greeting them, and are met by the Train Administrator Regular, Poro Poe, who's accompanied by an odd-looking dog creature. Poro mentions how worried he was for Daniel's health hearing how stubborn the stick-biter was trying to go up against the Mirotic Guardian, but is glad to see that Daniel's made it here perfectly fine.

Daniel greets Poro, and replies that he gave up trying to fight after Mirotic proved to be too much without using the remote. Angel asks who this Poro guy is, which Daniel answers that he's the one they've been in contact with over the Pocket phone. Poro introduces himself to Team Rachel as a Regular who for ten years has been working himself up to get a job as an Administrator for the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_128.jpg
Train Administrator, Poro Poe, revealed to be helping Daniel and his team

However, Poro notices that their team is one short; still missing the idol, Yura. Poro informs the team that the Hell Train captain isn't going to take off from the Train City station yet until she arrives since her being here is the only reason the captain has decided to help Rachel and company. Daniel assures Poro that Yura will be here in just a moment, which pleases Poro, and states that he will let Team Rachel on the Hell Train once Yura officially arrives. One of the teammates asks where Yura is at currently, which causes Rachel to pull out her Emile terminal. She asks Yura where the idol is, which Yura replies back that she's on the way to the Hell Train.

Switching over to Yura and the sword user running through the Train City tunnels, the latter asks the idol how much farther they're supposed to go to make it to the Hell Train. However, Yura orders him to stop complaining, and continue following since they're almost there. The sword user remains silent, and admits to himself that she's proven herself to be a powerful member of the Great Ha Family given how hard it is to keep up with her.

This causes the sword user to flash back to a private conversation he had with Yura in their Residence room before the start of the tournament. In their Residence room, the sword user is surprised to hear that Yura is planning to steal the Hell Train. Yura assures him that it's the truth, and that the plan will be put in action while everyone else is busy trying to play out the fake tournament.

    Chasing after Yura

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_129.jpg
Yura explains to her teammate that he will want to help her once he hears her story

Yura informs the sword user that she's cooperating with the team that set the fake tournament up, and given that she has two Express Tickets, the two of them will be the ones that will head for the Hell Train while everyone else is stuck at the Stadium level. However, Team Yura will take part in the tournament for a brief moment just to make sure that Bam's group remains preoccupied before the Hell Train leaves.

The sword user asks why Yura is only telling him about this, which Yura answers that it's because he's proven to have the most potential of the Regulars she gathered for this temporary tournament team. She also informs the sword user that she believes it's a good idea to have a least one other in her team know of her true intentions, which confuses said sword user. Yura informs him that she has a main goal that led her to cancelling her Train City concert, and is about to join Team Rachel's scheme of stealing away the Hell Train. There was something in the past that she lost, and hopes to regain it on the Hell Train. Yura assures the sword user that if he heard everything about her story, he would have no choice but to help her out. Returning to the present, the sword user continues to chase after Yura down the Train City hallway.

Meanwhile, Bam's group of the Team Rachel pursuit team stop at a spot in the emergency exit maze to dicuss what to do now since they've heard that Yura's allies have wrecked the main Train City elevator. Aka is left irritated that Yura would go to such lengths to keep them from reaching the Hell Train, and asks if this means that they can no longer chase after her.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_130.jpg
Yura and her teammate reach the unguarded Hell Train Entrance gate

Bam thinks it over, and asks instead for Hwaryun to guide them to the Hell Train Entrance. Hwaryun is left confused by the suggestion since there's no other way to get to that specific floor besides the main elevator, but Bam assures her that there must be another way to get there.

Returning to Yura's side, the sword user wonders if Yura transporting them to the emergency exit maze will really get them to the Hell Train Entrance. Seeing the indecisive sword user not sold on her plan, Yura reassures him not to worry, and to just continue following her. She explains that she knows the route due to the date she received from the control center, which catches the sword user's attention.

Yura assures her teammate that the path she's leading them to will end up at the gate entrance where the Mirotic Guardian would have been. She gives off a grin, and states that they will be there soon enough. A moment later, just as she stated, they arrive out of a maze exit at the Hell Train Entrance gate.

The sword user sees the giant gate before them, which Yura explains that the Hell Train is just beyond it. She also looks around, and notices that the area before the gate has been reduced to rubble, and figures that Team Rachel must have dealt with the Mirotic Guardian given that it's currently not present. Yura turns to the sword user stating that it's time for them to get on the Hell Train, which the latter agrees to. However, the two of them are left confused by the sound of something coming from the main Train City elevator that they had supposedly put out of commission on a higher floor.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_131.jpg
Bam's Pursuit Team use the elevator shaft to reach the Hell Train Entrance level

They both turn around to look at the elevator wondering what the sound was, and to Yura's shock, they spot Aka blasting the elevator door open followed closely by the rest of Bam's pursuit group. Bam and company enter out of the elevator, and into the Hell Train Entrance area, which leaves Yura confused as to how they managed to get here given that she made sure that the buttons would no longer work. She orders for Bam and company to explain how they got the elevator working, which Bam explains that they simply used the path that the elevator goes through.

The answer confuses Yura even further, which Bam explains that while the elevator was left stuck on a higher floor, the path the elevator uses still existed. All they had to do was follow the elevator path, and be transported by Bam's shinsu to travel down to the Hell Train Entrance level as fast as possible.

Bam taunts Yura that it's thanks to her efforts putting the elevator out of order that they managed to get to the Hell Train Entrance at a faster rate compared to if they just used the elevator. He states that Yura now has nowhere else to hide, and reminds her of the promise they made that this time around, he will be taking away her Express Ticket, which greatly annoys Yura. The sword user claims that he will stall Bam and company for Yura to make it to the Hell Train, but Yura grabs hold of him as the two of them make their way across the gaping hole platforms towards the Hell Train gate. Bam and company pursue Yura's group across the chasm as the sword user asks why Yura is taking him as well since they won't make it while trying to carry along his weight.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_132.jpg
Yura reactivates the Mirotic Guardian to stop the Pursuit Team from reaching her

However, Yura finds it surprising that her teammate continues to underestimate her, and pulls out a remote similar to the one Daniel had. She informs her sword user teammate that she was also provided a gift from the Train Administrator as she presses a large button on it. Suddenly, the Mirotic Guardian reappears between Yura's group, and Bam's pursuit team. Bam and company are surprised and irritated to see the guardian reappearing in front of them as they all move away to evade the guardian's massive shinsu beam. Meanwhile, Yura and her sword user teammate make their way beyond the Hell Train Entrance gate.

From the top of the Helix Stairwell, Rachel is left wondering what she just heard as she and her team hear the explosion from Mirotic's attack that had just occurred at the Hell Train Entrance gate. Poro mentions that he heard the sound as well, and asks if there's a problem regarding others that have possibly also made it here. Daniel remains silent thinking things over since he was sure that the Train City elevator was put out of order, and informs Poro that no one will make it here before Team Rachel departs on the Hell Train.

Poro warns Daniel that if others are on the way, he needs to notify the Hell Train captain, which Daniel asks for Poro to sit tight for second as he himself goes down to find out what's going on. Daniel begins to walk down the Helix Stairwell as Angel asks if he will be fine on his own. However, Daniel asks them not to worry about him since he's as strong as everyone on the team put together.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_133.jpg
Seeing Yura's remote, Boro confirms that the Train Administrator is helping Rachel

As Daniel hears Angel complaining that he's a showoff, the stick-biter thinks over what it could be that's getting in the way of Team Rachel taking off with the Hell Train. The stick-biter continues to walk down the stairs, and states that he would like to find out who it is.

Returning to the Hell Train Entrance, Bam's group reestablishes themselves after evading the Mirotic Guardian's massive shinsu attack. Bam looks back at the guardian, and admits that the thing is indeed a strong foe. Boro mentions how annoyed he's been that the guardian's been strangely non-existant since they got here as Aka looks around seeing that everyone amongst Bam and company managed to survive; concluding that this isn't a bad group after all. Moontari turns his attention to Ran finding it amazing that the Khun member hasn't died yet, but Ran orders him to take care of himself due to how strong the guardian is. Moontari jokes if the guardian is as strong as the father of the Great Khun Family, which an annoyed Ran mentions that Mirotic is nowhere close to the strength of his father.

The fact the guardian suddenly appeared to block them from reaching Yura is proof enough for Boro that the Administrator of Train City has taken the side of Team Rachel. Boro figures that there must be something amongst their enemy that's controlling Mirotic, and spots the remote in Yura's possession believing that to be cause. Hwaryun congratulates Boro for spotting it, and orders for Bam to follow her so that they can take the remote away, which Bam agrees with by following after the guide.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_134.jpg
Bam and Hwaryun follow the guide's path to bypass the Mirotic Guardian

Boro warns Bam and Hwaryun that the Mirotic Guardian changes it's power and direction depending on the opponent going up against it, but Bam replies that it doesn't matter. Bam and Hwaryun continue to charge toward the Mirotic Guardian as it prepares to fire a spear at the two of them. Boro begs them to stop, but Ran understands that Bam is putting his faither in the guide to get them passed the guardian. Mirotic sends out a massive spear attack, which causes Boro to order for everyone to dodge. Boro, Aka, Ran and Moontari all manage to evade it, but Moontari looks back to the guardian asking what happened to the boy.

To the surprise of Boro, Aka, and Moontari, they see Hwaryun followed by Bam next to the guardian by following the path the guide has found to bypass it, which doesn't surprise Ran since his deduction was correct. As Hwaryun and Bam pass by the guardian, the latter looks into the red-eye of Mirotic, and continue on their way towards the Helix Stairwell. The Mirotic Guardian turns his attention to the remaining members of Bam's pursuit team, which Ran figures that it's their job here to keep the guardian preoccupied. Aka, hoping that Bam and Hwaryun didn't hurt themselves, agrees with Ran's statement since they can't do anything else until the two who got passed the guardian manage to take Yura's remote away.

Meanwhile, Yura and the sword user reach the entrance of the Helix Stairwell. Yura is glad to see that they're almost to the Hell Train, but it's at this point where she hears a voice ordering her to stop. Turning around, she's surprised to see that Bam and Hwaryun have managed to catch up to her as the former Slayer Candidate orders Yura to have over the guardian's remote.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_135.jpg
Yura's teammate offering to stay behind so that she can reach the Hell Train

Yura asks how they managed to make it by the Mirotic Guardian, but is interrupted by the sword user ordering her to keep going. Like before, he asks for Yura to get on the Hell Train while he holds them off here. He also asks for Yura to leave him if he doesn't make it to the Hell Train in time, which leaves Yura silent. Thinking it over, Yura asks why the sword user is going so far to help her as if he's doing this hoping that she will remember what he did for her in the future.

Yura also asks if he's helping her out of sympathy, which the sword user gives off a silent grin implying that his answer is to the latter. Striking down his sword toward Bam and Hwaryun, the sword user asks for Yura to think of it however she wants, and to just make sure that she gets herself on the Hell Train. Bam dodges out of the way of the sword's shinsu blast, and wonders if Yura's sword user teammate happens to have an ignition weapon. Bam asks for the sword user to stand aside since the latter has nothing to do with this, and that there's someone he needs to meet at the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_136.jpg
Boro takes on Yura's teammate while Bam and Hwaryun go on ahead

However, to the surprise of Bam and Hwaryun, they spot Boro catching up to them from behind. Bam asks how he managed to make it by the Mirotic Guardian, which Boro answers that he was thrown over the guardian by Aka just a moment after Bam and Hwaryun made it through. Boro has a brief flashback to when Aka threw him over asking for the former to not blame him if the throw results in death.

Pulling out his needle, Boro announces that he will be the one that takes on Yura's sword user teammate while they go on ahead. Boro then asks the sword user if he's become a crazy fanatic of the idol singer, and informs the latter that back in the old days, he was just like how the sword user acts today. The comment irritates the sword user as he's forced to watch Bam and Hwaryun pass by him. Yura continues to run towards the Helix Stairwell by herself as Bam catches up to her once more ordering the idol to stop. Yura is surprised yet again by Bam managing to keep up with her as he manages to strike a shinsu Bang at her back, and forces the idol to the ground. Yura calls him out for the cheap shot hitting someone from behind, and asks if he has any manners considering that if she didn't block the Bang with her bag, she could have been really hurt.

Bam vs. Daniel and Boro vs. Danhwa

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_137.jpg
Daniel arrives at the bottom of the Helix Stairwell to assist Yura

Hwaryun catches up to Bam as the latter states once more to Yura that it's over, and asks for the idol to hand Mirotic's controller over. Bam also orders Yura to hand over any Express Tickets she has, and threatens to stop her and Team Rachel's plan no matter what. However, Bam suddenly hears a voice stating that he can't allow the boy to stop their plan.

On a higher level of the Helix Stairwell, Daniel is seen standing above Yura, Bam, and Hwaryun. Yura asks who the new guy is, which Daniel explains that the two of them have been keeping in touch with one another through messages. He states that it's good to finally meet Yura in person, and informs her that Team Rachel has been awaiting her arrival. Yura begins to realize what he's referring to as Daniel assures her that he's her companion that are about to go on a trip together. Continuing to walk down the Helix Stairwell, Daniel introduces himself to Bam as one of Rachel's comrades, which grabs Bam's attention.

Bam asks Daniel what he means by being one of Rachel's comments, which the stick-biter in return asks who Bam is. The former Slayer Candidate answers that he's here to see Rachel, and asks Daniel to let him see her. Daniel gives off a laugh regarding Bam's answer, but notices how the boy happens to have golden eyes and brown hair. Daniel steps off the Helix Stairwell, and realizes that the person he's standing before is FUG's Jue Viole Grace.

Remaining silent, Bam continues to watch Daniel walk towards him, and apologizes to the former Slayer Candidate for not recognizing someone who's so famous. Daniel states that he's heard a lot about Bam such as being a person that's chasing after Rachel, as well as being one of FUG's up-and-coming Jahad Slayers.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_138.jpg
Daniel offers Bam a guardian remote if he accepts a one-on-one duel with him

Daniel asks if he's supposed to show Bam some high position respect given that they both happen to be members of FUG, but Daniel instead asks for Bam to have a little match with him. Bam is left confused by the challenge, which Daniel explains that Rachel is indeed above them at the top of the Helix Stairwell waiting for the Hell Train. He also mentions that he knows Bam needs a certain remote to stop the Mirotic Guardian so that the rest of his teammates can get through. Daniel pulls out a remote to show that he has one as well, which catches Bam's attention. Daniel states that he wishes to fight Bam just to see what he's got, and if Bam wins, Daniel will gladly hand over his Mirotic Guardian control. He also adds that he won't interfere if Hwaryun continues after Yura to take away the idol's remote. With the explanation over, Daniel asks Bam if the challenge sounds good or not.

Meanwhile, at the Hell Train Entrance, Ran, Moontari, and Aka, continue to evade the attacks of the Mirotic Guardian. Ran becomes even more irritated that he hasn't managed to find any weak spots, which Aka advices the new guy not to get greedy since it will be difficult to find the right weak point without a guide.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_139.jpg
Going along with Ran's plan, Aka prepares himself to take on the Mirotic Guardian

Aka warns Ran not to get careless in this horrible situation since the elevator exit is broken, and the guardian is currently in attack mode. Seeing the guardian preparing two more spears against them, Ran asks if Aka and Moontari have decided to give up despite knowing that the Hell Train is right there behind the Hell Train Entrance gate. Ran also deduces that Hwaryun and Bam must have run into some trouble since they haven't returned with the remote yet to turn off the guardian.

The Khun member than claims how disappointed he is at how pathetic Aka is acting currently despite acting all big at first as a famous Express Ticket holder. Moontari complains about Ran's words as Aka asks if Ran has a plan of his own. Ran answers that he could probably come up with a successful counter-attack against Mirotic if Aka manages to open a path for him.

Ran then explains that this plan won't defeat the guardian, but will at least allow him to pass by to get behind the gate. However, he warns Aka that it will all depend on if the latter can open the path for him to pull off the counter-attack. Aka slams his fists together admitting that Ran is a funny kid, and decides to go along with the plan by showing off his power as a high-level Express Ticket holder. Suddenly, red shinsu begins to swarm all around Aka's arms. Ran and Mirotic watch as Aka continues to prepare himself for a fight against the Mirotic Guardian.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_140.jpg
Daniel and Bam stay behind while Hwaryun chases Yura up the Helix Stairwell

Returning to the base of the Helix Stairwell, Yura remains confused by Daniel's attempt to challenge Bam, and asks why he would go to such lengths. Daniel simply answers that it will be fun to do, which irritates Yura greatly since she's in this chase mess having lost the bet against Team Bam at the fake tournament. However, Daniel calls her out that the idol has no right to complain given that it was her mistake that led to Bam and Hwaryun being brought here. Daniel asks if she should still be complaining given that he's taking the time to keep one of them preoccupied for her while all she has to do is run up the Helix Stairwell to join with the rest of Team Rachel. The questions leave Yura silent knowing that he's right about this.

Bam turns to Hwaryun asking what they should do, which the guide answers that this might be advantageous for them only having to chase after Yura rather than having to deal with both the idol and Daniel at the same time. Hearing that Hwaryun is fine with it, Bam accepts the bet, which pleases Daniel, and states that the fight will begin right away. Bam and Daniel stand ready to fight one another, which irritates Yura knowing that she has no choice but to run. She begins to quickly run up the Helix Stairwell followed closely behind by Hwaryun. Daniel looks back at Yura and Hwaryun going up the stairwell, and deduces that while they're both fast, Yura is surprisingly kind of slow for someone from the Great Ha Family. He then turns his attention back to Bam, and hopes that Jue Viole Grace provides him with some fun. Preparing a ball of purple shinsu, Daniel asks if it's time for them to begin as he attempts to strike at Bam. However, Bam counters with a shinsu punch of his own, which Daniel admits was a nice reaction.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_141.jpg
Bam vs. Daniel

Above Bam and Daniel, Hwaryun continues to run up the Helix Stairwell keeping in short distance of Ha Yura. Similar to Daniel's deduction, Hwaryun is surprised to see how slow Yura is for a Great Ha Family member, but realizes that they're still about the same speed. Hwaryun is also annoyed that despite being a guide, the only path she can go is to continue going up the one-way staircase. The guide comes to the conclusion that there's only one other way that she can catch up to Yura.

Meanwhile, the close-combat fight between Bam and Daniel continues. Daniel admits that Bam's reaction timing is great, and is proof that he's worthy of the Slayer Candidate title that FUG has given to him. However, Bam replies that he's no longer a Slayer Candidate for FUG as his and Daniel's shinsu blasts collide with one another. Preparing another purple ball of shinsu, Daniel asks Bam if the boy Prince really believes that he can just go away from something as big as FUG's Slayer Candidate as he sends another blast of shinsu in Bam's direction.

Bam manages to withstand Daniel's last shinsu attack, but is caught off-guard by Daniel's speed as the stick-biter kicks Bam into a nearby wall. Daniel bites his stick once more, and states that the Slayer Candidate's body has been proven to him to be weaker than expected. Daniel states that he's observed how good Bam's speed and fighting skills are, but aren't anything special, and asks if Bam really is a Slayer Candidate.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_142.jpg
Daniel witnesses Bam copy his abilities

However, Daniel is left confused upon seeing Bam forming a familiar purple ball in his hand, which he blasts against Daniel that pushes the stick-biter back. Re-establishing himself, Daniel thinks over what just happened, and is amazed to realize that Bam had just used a skill similar to his own. Bam then charges forward, and hits Daniel with a kick, which the stick-biter realizes is the same kick that he just used to kick the Slayer Candidate into the wall. Parrying Bam's close-combat attacks, Daniel wonders if the Slayer Candidate is actually copying his skills. Daniel then notices Bam standing in a weird stance that he doesn't recognize. Bam then goes in once more for more close-combat strikes, which confuses Daniel since he confirms that Bam is using hundreds of different stances and skills against him. Daniel is left wondering who the hell he's dealing with, and wonders if Bam is crazy since the Slayer Candidate has managed to combine the different stances and skills all into one continuous attack.

The barrage of attacks knocks Daniel back into the base of the Helix Stairwell as the stick-biter gives off a laugh stating how unfunny this is turning out to be. Wiping blood away from his mouth, Daniel asks how the hell Bam managed to learn such a variety of skills, and managed to perfectly mix them all together as a weird martial art. He asks if it has something to do with Bam's copying skill, but the latter remains silent. Bam looks at his fist, and explains how he's been working the whole year after the Workshop Battle until this point at Train City.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_143.jpg
Daniel admits that Bam's high FUG status as a Slayer Candidate is legit

Throughout the levels between the 31st and 35th Floors, Bam had visited a number of different martial arts dojos owned by many different kinds of families. It was at these places that Bam had managed to learn many different martial arts by taking in their strikes and blows. Despite how painful it was to get hit by every one of these attacks, they all became a part of Bam to the point that he now has a large variety of attacks to utilize in combat.

Bam prepares to continue the fight against Daniel, and figures that this journey to the 35th Floor of the Tower has gotten him a bit stronger. The answer surprises Daniel, who realizes that Bam is someone who can read an opponents skill, and learn to use it as his own, after being hit by the attack. Daniel also realizes that this comes at the cost of having a body that can withstand so many attacks all for the purpose of training the copying skill, which Daniel admits that the Slayer Candidate before him is an incredible kid. Daniel gives off a grin, and admits that this is indeed an interesting fight.

Aka and Moontari block the Mirotic Guardian's spears while Ran attacks

Back to the Hell Train Entrance, Ran and Moontari watch as the massive flame-like shinsu continues to burst off of Aka. Ran asks what the giant is doing wondering if he's barbecuing himself, which Moontari explains that Aka is using a shinsu skill known as Combustion. The answer confuses Ran, which Moontari explains that Aka is enclosing himself in shinsu of deadly hot temperature to act as an ultimate defense against an opponents attack. Ran asks once more if this means that Aka is barbecuing himself, which annoys Moontari greatly.

Ran asks if this ultimate Combustion defense of Aka's will block the Mirotic Guardian's next attack, which Aka answers that it should allow him to temporarily grab hold of one of the guardian's spears. Aka explains that if he manages to grab hold of one of the guardian's spears using this Combustion skill it should provide an opening long enough for Ran to attack through. Ran asks if Aka's implying that even an illusion can be shaken, which the giant answers to be the case as long as Ran delivers an attack of critical damage that can affect something that's just a mere illusion. Moontari asks if Aka is really going to count on a rookie that just leveled up from E-rank, which Aka answers that they don't really have a choice at this point, and despite being a rookie, Ran is still a member from the Great Khun Family. Aka asks Moontari to just standby to get ready to bypass the Mirotic Guardian once Ran and him make the opening, which Moontari agrees to do so. The guardian finally throws the two spears it had been preparing as Aka stands ready to grab them. He orders for Ran and Moontari to get ready as the two of them spring into action as well.

Aka manages to hold one of the spears in place using his burning Combustion defense as Ran, who has already eaten a lightning pill to power himself up, prepares a lightning attack to counter-attack. Aka warns Moontari that the second spear is coming as the blue-skinned Regular gets into position to freeze the movement of the second guardian spear coming towards them. Moontari warns the group that he can't hold the spear in place as long as Aka, and threatens to kill Ran if he messes up the counter-attack. However, Ran asks Moontari not to worry about him as the Khun member sends a massive lightning spear in the direction of the Mirotic Guardian. Seeing an opening in the guardian's defenses, Aka orders for Ran and Moontari to get moving.

Yura's teammate introduces himself as Hong Danhwa, an ignition sword wielder

Meanwhile, the duel between Boro and the sword user from Team Yura continues to unfold within the hallway between the Hell Train Entrance and the Helix Stairwell. Boro and the sword user break away from one another, which Boro admits that the sword user as an incredible sword. Boro mentions how the sword being used by the guy doesn't come off as an ordinary weapon, but believes that it's actually an ignition weapon.

He asks how the sword user came across an ignition weapon despite being just a typical D-ranker, which the sword user answers that his name is Hong Danhwa, and that the weapon he wields is a holy sword that is revered in the homeland he came from. Boro asks what Danhwa means by wielding a holy sword, which Danhwa explains that he has in his possession a sacred sword that has many blessings.

It's because he was chosen by this sacred sword that he was chosen as a Regular to enter into the Tower. Holding the sword before Boro, Danhwa informs him that the ignition weapon's name is Krishna, which is the name of a river that runs through his homeland. Danhwa also states that the sword is said to have an ancient beast sealed within it, which causes Boro to ask what he means by that. Explaining a bit of his homeland's backstory, Danhwa states that there was once a brutal, and ancient, beast that appeared there feasting on the humans.

Boro vs. Danhwa

A long time ago the ancient beast was soon defeated by seven talented swordsmen that were all Hong Family ancestors. To make sure that the ancient beast didn't revive to attack again, the seven ancestors split the soul apart into seven pieces that were then combined with their seven swords. These swords would then be passed on to the newest generation of the Hong Family; the Krishna sword in Danhwa's possession being one of these seven swords.

Beginning to sweat, Boro begins to realize that Danhwa was chosen to be Krishna's user, and states that the sword user won the jackpot. However, he asks how Danhwa is going to face his ancestors if they find out that he's been using one of the seven sacred ignition weapons to look after the girl he just met, which annoys Danhwa, who replies that he can use the sword however he likes. Preparing a shinsu blast with his Krishna sword, Danhwa states that in the end, he's decided to help Yura accomplish her goal, and that the Krishna sword has accepted his wish to do so.

He threatens Boro that the latter is his enemy as long as he's trying to stop Yura from making it to the Hell Train, which causes Boro to call Danhwa nuts since he doesn't see what's so special about the idol. Danhwa orders Boro to watch his mouth as he sends an ignition weapon shinsu blast towards his enemy. Boro manages to evade out of the way as Danhwa claims that the former knows nothing about Yura's life. Boro yells out to Danhwa asking if the sword user is really trying to murder him going wack over some idol girl, and warns Danhwa not to follow the same path that he once did.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_147_7.jpg
Boro reaches a point where he can fully read Danhwa's sword movements

Boro continues to evade the Krishna blasts as Danhwa replies to him that what he's chosen to do is none of Boro's business. He warns Boro that this is the end as Boro is forced to take the next blast from the Krishna ignition weapon. However, it's at this point that Boro figures that he can finally take the hit now, which confuses Danhwa. Boro explains more simply that he can read Danhwa's sword movements now, which Danhwa calls bullshit on since he believes that nothing can read the sacred Krishna sword.

Danhwa sends another shinsu blast toward Boro, but is shocked to see that Boro managed to deflect the attack with his needle weapon. Boro explains to Danhwa that fluid martial arts is a type of fighting where one reads a weapon's movement, and ruins it using shinsu. He warns Danhwa that as long as he can read something, he will always know how to dodge it, and that includes the movements of the Krishna ignition weapon. Danhwa refuses to believe Boro's claim due to his Krishna sword being an ignition weapon, but Boro reminds him that it's still a type of weapon, and it was only a matter of time before he would be able to read said weapon's movement as well.

Boro defeats Danhwa

The explanation shocks Danhwa as Boro claims that the sword user has picked the wrong man to fight against. Boro prepares his needle to continue fighting as Danhwa charges forward ordering the former to cut the crap. Danhwa attempts another shinsu blast with Krishna, but Boro easily dodges it, and is now standing up close to the Hong member.

The confused Danhwa asks how this is possible, which Boro states that it's because this is what he's capable of. The answer confused Danhwa even further, which Boro explains that he didn't survive the Hell Train just on style, but that the way he's been trained has made all weapons elementally weak against him. Boro claims that it's now over for the president of the Yura fan club as Boro stabs Danhwa through the chest with his needle. The sword user falls to the floor in defeat, but Boro doesn't aim to finish him off.

Breathing heavy, Danhwa realizes that he's been been stabbed in the ribs as blood comes gushing out of his body. However, Boro informs the sword user that he doesn't plan to kill him. Boro also states that due to the rib injury, Danhwa won't be able to chase after him once the former continues on to try to stop Yura from reaching the Hell Train. Boro takes this chance to ask why Danhwa is going to such lengths to help Yura accomplish whatever her objective is.

The question causes Danhwa to once more have a flashback to his Residence conversation with the idol. Danhwa asks what Yura wishes to find on the Hell Train, which Yura answers that it's something most precious to her that was taken away by a particular group of people. Yura thinks it over, and informs Danhwa that what they took away from her that day was everything to her.

Danhwa asks Boro if there really is a place on the Hell Train that can turn back time

Back to the present, Danhwa asks how far Boro managed to go in his last Hell Train run. The question confuses Boro, which Danhwa asks instead if Boro made it all the way to the Hidden 43rd Floor. Boro asks what that has to do with anything, which Danhwa asks if the 43rd Floor is really a place the Hell Train can bring someone to that has the ability to turn back time. A location that is known as The Place Where You Can Go Back.

Meanwhile, the fight between Bam and Daniel continues as the stick-biter goes about parrying every attack that the former Slayer Candidate sends his way. Daniel becomes a tad annoyed that Bam's movements are so irregular compared to everyone else that he's fought as Bam lands another punch that knocks Daniel back again. The stick-biter calls Bam a bastard for proving to be a decent opponent, and claims that Bam is definitely a Slayer Candidate since the boy has perfected the ability to mix many skills and martial arts together, but still retains great balance utilizing every move to it's fullest potential.

Daniel reveals that he came across another Slayer Candidate on the Hell Train

Daniel states that such ability reminds him of someone else that he met a long time ago, which catches Bam's attention. Daniel explains that on a previous Hell Train run, he met another Slayer Candidate that showed a lot of skill and potential. However, unlike Bam, the previous Slayer Candidate he met was showing skills that were much closer to perfection.

Bam asks what he's talking about, and wonders if it's the same person that Boro met on the latter's Hell Train run, but Daniel states that the previous Slayer Candidate took everything from him back then. Daniel explains that his Hell Train run this time around is a new beginning, and warns Bam that he can't stop Team Rachel from boarding the Hell Train since the moment he accepted their bet, he's fallen into their trap.

Meanwhile at the Hell Train Entrance, Ran, Moontari and Aka are seen charging forward going through the path that Ran opened up against the Mirotic Guardian with this lighting spear counter-attack. However, Ran is shocked to see Mirotic coming out of the explosion and attempting to grab him. The three of them come to the conclusion that the guardian isn't an illusion since it's going in for a physical attack as Mirotic slams down on Ran's location attempting to kill the Khun member. Wondering if Ran made it out ok, seeing the Mirotic Guardian before them again confuses Aka as to why the guardian's real form is now here. He and Moontari then prepare themselves to fight the guardian once more.

Hwaryun creates a new path on the Helix Stairwell in order to get in front of Yura

At the Helix Stairwell, Yura continues to keep ahead of Hwaryun as the two of them approach the Hell Train platform. The guide concludes that she won't be able to catch her at this rate, and thinks over how she had been fooled by Team Rachel's false information to follow the Train City path that resulted in them being trapped at the fake tournament. However, Hwaryun wonders if following this fake path was meant to be the path she was supposed to follow from the very beginning. Hwaryun questions if not being able to catch up to Yura is the path she must take since there's no other alternative paths to catch up to her since the only way is to continue following the spiral stairs they're currently climbing. The guide then looks to the railing of the stairwell, and concludes that there's definitely another path as she jumps toward it.

Looking back at Hwaryun, Yura is shocked to see the guide throwing her staff into the empty area in the middle of the Helix Stairwell, and jumps to it so that she can give herself a makeshift platform to jump up again to reach a higher location on the stairwell. Suddenly Hwaryun finds herself in front of Yura higher up on the spiral stairs, which the guide explains that the second path was using the empty area that surrounds the Helix Stairwell to jump to the opposite side of the spiral stair structure.

Angel of Team Rachel arrives on the Helix Stairwell to assist Yura against Hwaryun

Hwaryun's maneuver irritates Yura as hse watches the guide walk towards her with her staff weapon ready, and prepared to finish the long chase after Yura. Hwaryun then orders Yura to hand over Mirotic's remote, but it's at this point that she hears a voice telling that guide that she can't allow that. Yura and Hwaryun have their attention brought to Angel, who is seen floating near them with her angelic abilities already active. Angel greets the pretty Hwaryun, and states that she looks like some worthy enough to be gobbled up by her. Hwaryun figures that Angel is one of Rachel's comrades, which Angel explains that Daniel had sent a message ahead of time through Emile to warn Team Rachel of the Yura chase that was currently happening on the Helix Stairwell.

Angel states that she's glad to see that Hwaryun isn't a handsome man, because she would prefer to eat pretty girls since such people are who she really hates. The statement leaves Hwaryun silent as she realizes that the bastard Daniel didn't keep his end of the deal. Angel calls out to Yura to hurry on by since the Hell Train is waiting for her, which she chooses to do so. Seeing Yura running by her surprises Hwaryun realizing that she screwed up not paying attention to her. Before the guide could react however, Angel charges in ready to feast on Hwaryun.

The close-combat fight between Bam and Daniel continues as the stick-biter asks if the Slayer Candidate is getting nervous knowing that he's fallen into his trap. Daniel explains that a trap requires good lies, so good that it would even deceive the person who's telling the lies.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_153.jpg
Team Rachel witness a platform staircase form leading up to the Hell Train entrance

Daniel also explains his true plan that he already sent messages using Emile up to the rest of his team at the Hell Train platform, and that they will make sure that Yura will safely arrive at the train. The announcement shocks Bam as Daniel claims that the Hell Train will depart the moment Yura joins up with Team Rachel. At the Hell Train platform, Team Rachel has their attention brought to a newly formed stairwell created from tiny floating platforms that leads up to the entrance on the side of the Hell Train.

Back to Boro and Danhwa the former explains to the defeated latter that he doesn't actually know what's at the end of the Hell Train at the 43rd Floor. However, he states to the sword user that he knows one thing is for sure. He warns Danhwa that the rumors of how one can get everything if they board the Hell Train is actually a complete lie when really, they will end up just losing everything. That the train runs through an endless hell.

Returning to Bam and Daniel, the latter explains that he sent Yura up to make sure that no matter what, the Hell Train can leave the station. Bam realizes that Daniel was always intending to deceive him, and asks what it is that Team Rachel is after. Daniel answers that he simply wants to go back to hell. Daniel prepares another purple shinsu ball, and claims that he will need to make Bam go to sleep for awhile in order to complete his objective. He then charges at Bam ready to fight once more. Meanwhile on the Helix Stairwell above, Angel summons a trident-like weapon in her right hand, and flies down toward Hwaryun ready to fight the guide.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_154.jpg
Angel keeps Hwaryun preoccupied to allow Yura to make it up to the Hell Train

Angel taunts Hwaryun that her failed guidance led everyone into their fake tournament trap, which catches the guide's attention. Hwaryun blocks Angel's trident strike, but begins to fear that she's going to let Yura get away from her at this rate. Hwaryun counters Angel with a staff strike, and asks why Team Rachel even bothered leaking information to lure them to Train City. The guide points out that Team Rachel would have been better off doing everything in secret, but Angel informs her that there was indeed a reason that Hwaryun and company needed to be brought here.

Angel explains that Team Rachel's plan will only be accomplished if Bam and company continue to follow them, which confuses Hwaryun even further. The guide asks what Angel means by that, but Angel states that knowing what their plan is doesn't matter since Hwaryun is going to die here anyway. Angel summoned a pair of metal-like fish that she sends at Hwaryun. Hwaryun begins to get irritated that she followed the wrong path again since it resulted in a fight with Angel, and begins to question why her ability to see the path to the end-game continues to get distorted. The guide attempts to block the metal-fish with her staff, but is shocked to see the fish creatures biting into her weapon.

Hwaryun backs away from Angel to re-establish herself, and asks Angel if the metal-fish creatures she controls are metal eaters. Angel explains that the fish creatures she controls are known as Metalfish, who love to gobble up whatever they see.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_155.jpg
Angel explains to Hwaryun that they're using paths that can't be seen by a guide

Angel also informs Hwaryun that they can chew through anything, even if the objects are as hard as diamonds, and warns the guide that their favorite food happens to be humans. Hwaryun replies that this situation has become incredibly annoying, which Angel replies that the pretty bitch guide is still the more annoying one.

Angel asks why Hwaryun isn't questioning why something about all this feels off, which catches the guide's attention. Angel points out that despite the fact that Hwaryun is a guide that can see all the Tower paths, she still ended up being deceived by a group of ordinary Regulars by not being able to see Team Rachel's path to the Hell Train. Hwaryun remains confused by the statement, which Angel confirms that the guide's confusion is proof that she hasn't noticed how distracted she's been by a certain something. Angel pulls out her Emile terminal, which surprises the guide.

Hwaryun asks how the Emile chatting bot has been distracting her, which Angel reminds the guide that Emile is a special type of guide that controls people by creating artificial paths. These artificial paths would then naturally run into the true paths, and re-create them into a mutated path that would result in people being sent off in different directions. Angel gives off a grin, and says it in simplest terms that Hwaryun can't see the mutated paths, which confuses Hwaryun to the point of thinking that none of this makes sense. Angel gives Hwaryun her gratitude for making it all the way here, and asks for the guide to finish her duty by dying now as the Metalfish become larger moving in for the next attack.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_156.jpg
Angel defeats Hwaryun

Angel taunts Hwaryun that Bam and company will do whatever it takes to catch up to Team Rachel if they lose their guide, and claims that the very thought of it is making her excited. Unable to hold off the giant Metalfish, the fish creatures bite into Hwaryun's flesh, who then screams out in pain.

Meanwhile at the Bam and Daniel fight, the latter continues to charge at the former with a massive purple shinsu ball ready to strike. Bam notices how the ball is becoming more and more massive as it gets closer, and deduces that he needs to attack before the ball attack hits him. Bam creates five shinsu Bangs ready to counter-attack, and sends the blasts toward Daniel. However, the stick-biter easily evades each Bang, and taunts the former Slayer Candidate that the boy can't hit him when his shinsu control is that weak. Daniel throws his massive purple ball of shinsu towards Bam, who is barely able to evade out of the way of the massive explosion due to the stick-biter bending the balls path during flight to hit as close to Bam as possible.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_157.jpg
Bam witnesses the true form of Daniel's shinsu ability, Living Creature

Daniel continues to move closer, and asks if Bam noticed that he was able to move the shinsu ball on the way to the target making it look like the shinsu was alive. Daniel points out that that's the secret of his shinsu skill known as Living Creature. Bam looks closer at the purple ball that had been created by Daniel, and sees that it's moving, and has the shape of a person's head that looks like it's screaming out in pain.

Daniel explains that his Living Creature skill is the ability to control the shinsu of another person's soul, and use it as his own attack. The stick-biter also points out that his Living Creature skill could simply be seen an odd variation of necromancy. Daniel taunts Bam that using his Living Creature skill, he will be able to block any of Bam's attacks no matter what despite the Slayer Candidate proving to have a large variety of different skills.

Daniel then informs Bam that the Mirotic Guardian will no doubt kill the others at the Hell Train Entrance, and the person he warned using Emile is probably on the verge of killing Hwaryun at the moment. As a result, Yura will freely make her way to join with Team Rachel at the Hell Train platform.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_158.jpg
Bam brings out the Thorn

Daniel figures that this is checkmate, and claims that there's now no way that Team Rachel will be kept from boarding the Hell Train. He next taunts Jue Viole Grace that this is the end, which an exhausted Bam wonders if at this point, he will be forced to rely on the thing he'd wish to have saved for a more important fight. Suddenly, the Thorn is seen reappearing above Bam's right shoulder. Daniel spots the Thorn appearing above Bam's shoulder, and remembers that it's an Ignition Weapon that holds the power of the Irregular known as Enryu.

Daniel mentions that he almost forgot Bam was the wielder of such a powerful item, and taunts the boy that he's heard rumors of how Bam still doesn't have proper control over it. However, Bam claims that he doesn't need perfect control over the Thorn to break out of this current situation as he begins to form a Thorn-powered shinsu Bang in his hand.

Daniel inspects the newly forming Bang, and admits that he can feel the tremendous power of the Thorn emanating from it. He states to Bam that he can see that the Slayer Candidate isn't joking when it comes to attempting to use the Thorn to get out of this mess. Bam flashes back to a conversation he had with Hwaryun before beginning his year-long journey to the Hell Train. The guide warns him to only rely on the Thorn once a day, and that his usage limit is currently only about ten minutes.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_159.jpg
Boro catches up to Bam at the base of the Helix Stairwell

Hwaryun explains that any further use of the Thorn could end up being a toll on Bam's body, which is still developing, and that the Thorn will attempt to take over the body after going beyond the ten minute limit. She reminds Bam once more to stick to ten minutes a day, or else the Thorn will go berserk once Bam loses the ability to control it any further.

Back to the present, Bam assures himself that he will finish the fight against Daniel within ten minutes. However, it's at this point that Boro manages to catch up to the Helix Stairwell. He spots Daniel as the one Bam is currently fighting against, and asks why this particular person is here, which confuses Bam. Boro turns his attention to Daniel, and asks if the stick-biter really is the person he thinks he is.

Meanwhile, the fight at the Hell Train Entrance continues following the Mirotic Guardian smashing Ran into the ground. Moontari calls out to the newbie hoping that the Khun member made it out ok as Aka is left wondering why the real form of the guardian, and not an illusion, has suddenly appeared before them.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_160_1.jpg
Beta arrives at the Hell Train Entrance only to see that the guardian fight is still going

Realizing that they don't have much choice now against the real guardian, Aka calls out to Moontari that their only option now is to rescue Ran away from the guardian to regroup, which Moontari goes along with. Aka powers up his Combustion skill once more to begin the rescue attempt, but it's at this point that Beta has arrived at the Hell Train Entrance using the elevator shaft path that Bam's pursuit group used originally.

Beta looks around at the Hell Train Entrance, and notices that the area has almost been reduced to a mess of rubble. He then looks in the direction of the main gate, and spots Aka and Moontari facing off against the real Mirotic Guardian in an attempt to get the unconscious Ran away from it.

Returning to the base of the Helix Stairwell, Boro asks how and why Daniel is here. Daniel gives off a smile seeing a familiar face, and asks if Boro being here means that Aka is also around. Boro yells out that this current situation makes no sense since he was sure that their last Hell Train run resulted in something bad happening to Daniel, but the stick-biter replies that he's here to return to the Hell Train, which further confuses Boro. Daniel explains that his return to hell is so he can see her again, which causes Boro to ask who Daniel is referring to, and what happened to Daniel on the Hell Train to be able to be here here-and-now. However, Daniel simply asks for Boro to just stand by and watch helplessly just as he did back then when Roen died. At this point, Daniel gets a call on his Pocket from Team Rachel asking him to return as the Hell Train is ready to depart.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_161_7.jpg
Bam and Boro chase after the latter's old Hell Train comrade, Daniel

Daniel provides Bam the bad news that it seems Ha Yura has made it to the Hell Train, which shocks Bam upon realizing that Hwaryun must have failed in stopping the idol. Daniel apologizes that he needs to leave now, and begins to run up the Helix Stairwell to return to Team Rachel. Boro continues to call out to Daniel wanting to know more about why he's returned to the Hell Train as he and Bam chase after him up the spiral stairs.

Bam asks Boro what's going on, which Boro explains that the man they're chasing, Daniel Hatchid, is a former comrade that he used to be teamed up with on the last Hell Train run a long time ago. However, he points out that Daniel is someone that's not supposed to be here anymore, which confuses Bam. Boro explains how he heard of a time when following their team's failed Hell Train run, Daniel attempted to get on the Hell Train again two hundred years ago, but the end result was his death. The mention that Daniel was supposed to have died a long time ago surprises Bam, and asks Boro if he knows why Daniel is alive again. Boro answers that he doesn't know, and finds this whole situation crazy wondering what it is that Daniel is trying to accomplish on the Hell Train this time around.

Higher up the Helix Stairwell, blood is seen dripping from Angel's trident weapon as Hwaryun lies defeated and unconscious before her. Angel gives off a grin at the fact that she beat the guide as she receives an Emile message ordering her to return to the Hell Train platform now that they're ready to depart.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_162.jpg
Daniel orders Angel to retreat with Hwaryun as their hostage

Angel begins to walk closer to the defeated guide ready to finish her off, and taunts Hwaryun that she plans to eat her, but it's at this point that Daniel catches up to her. He orders Angel to stop fooling around and retreat, which Angel asks the old man stick-biter what's going on. Daniel answers that they need to hurry as he orders Angel to take the guide with them. Angel spots Bam and Boro following after Daniel closely behind, and is left disappointed that she didn't get to eat the guide. She agrees to retreat alongside Daniel with Hwaryun as their hostage as they make their way up the Helix Stairwell.

Meanwhile, Ha Yura is seen on the Hell Train platform having made it to Team Rachel. Yura is panting in exhaustion having to hurry up the Helix Stairwell as Rachel is seen glad to see that the idol made it here perfectly unharmed. Now that Yura is here, Rachel figures that it's about time for their team to board the Hell Train.

Returning to the Hell Train Entrance, Aka punches at the Mirotic Guardian with a Combusion-powered first, but is irritated to see that the guardian is taking no damage since it appears that Mirotic still acts like an illusion despite it being the real deal. Suddenly, Beta appears next to Aka and Moontari with his Dionysos ignition active ordering them to move as he lands a strike on the guardian. Aka and Moontari are left stunned in shock that Beta managed to land an actual hit on the Mirotic Guardian. Beta manages to reach Ran's location, and sees that a rock is on top of half of his body. He asks Ran if he's ok, which Ran answers that he will be able to move again after two minutes.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_163.jpg
Akraptor, Prince, and Miseng, arrive at the Hell Train Entrance

Beta then turns his attention to the Mirotic Guardian claiming that he will finish it off before then, but Ran as his senior teammate claims that he's not allowed to do so since he wants to finish off the guardian himself. As Beta prepares to take on the Mirotic Guardian, three newcomers are seen appearing at the elevator entrance. These people being members of Team Tangsooyook: Akraptor, Prince, and Miseng. Looking at the Hell Train Entrance, Akraptor mentions how they've finally made it.

Beta attempts to land another Dionysos attack on the Mirotic Guardian, but is left annoyed that despite his previous attack having an effect on it, the guardian was able to block his attack this time around. Watching the current fight between Beta and the guardian unfold, Akraptor states to Miseng and Prince that it appears they've arrived late. Akraptor figures that the best option is to help them get passed the guardian since they got word from Rak that the Cassano person they're after is apparently beyond the Hell Train Entrance gate.

Moontari warns the newcomer, Beta, that his current attacks won't work on the Mirotic Guardian since it's in a middle state that switches between an illusion and its real form. In return, Beta asks why this is so complicated, and begins to piece together why it seems like some of his attacks are having an effect, but other times, they're not. The Mirotic Guardian begins to prepare another one of its spears as Aka and Moontari call out to Beta warning him to move to evade it.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_164.jpg
Prince assures Beta that they've spent the last year getting stronger

Beta orders them to mind their own business since he's different compared to the usual Regulars, which annoys Moontari, who reminds Beta that the guardian's attack is still going to be powerful enough to kill him. Providing support, Akraptor begins to prepare a shinsu blast with his umbrella weapon, and reminds Beta that his reckless attacking is never a good idea. Akraptor sends his shinsu blast towards the the Mirotic Guardian, which catches Beta and company by surprise at how massive the shinsu beam is. Akraptor's attack blasts into the guardian, who then states to Beta that it's been awhile since they last saw one another.

Beta begins to realize that Team Tangsooyook have finally arrived at Train City, which Prince calls out Beta for being rude that they got the party started before they made it here. Standing alongside Miseng and Akraptor, Prince states that Team Tangsooyook have officially arrived to help them out. Despite Prince's offer for support, Beta asks about the whereabouts of the monster flame-girl and the invincible yellow-head leader.

Beta claims that they would be more useful since he views Akraptor, Prince and Miseng as the useless three of the team, which angers Prince to the point of claiming that he will kick Beta's ass for saying that. Aka notes that they look like friends of Beta, which Moontari adds that this seems to be the case. Aka also wonders if the three Tangsooyook newcomers being here means that something changed regarding the fake tournament at the Stadium level. Beta gives his warning that Akraptor, Prince, and Miseng should sit this out since the Mirotic Guardian is proving to be a powerful opponent, but Prince asks if Beta truly believes that the three of them haven't been getting stronger the past year since the E-rank Workshop Battle.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_165.jpg
Miseng discovers that the object creating the guardian illusion was in the gate

Prince announces that they've been training themselves, and have managed to really develop their abilities as Miseng is seen putting a familiar flower in her hair. Miseng calls out for her Scout Observer as it appears floating next to her right side. Inspecting the Mirotic Guardian through her Observer, Miseng pieces together that while the guardian is both an illusion and a real being, the Mirotic Guardian is being activated by the Hell Train Entrance gate itself. She orders for Akraptor to aim his attack at the gate behind the Mirotic Guardian, which Akraptor agrees to do so as he prepares another shinsu beam attack with his umbrella.

Akraptor sends out a blast of shinsu towards the gate rather than the Mirotic Guardian, which confuses Beta as to why Akraptor has such poor aim. The door of the gate then breaks off the walls, and falls onto Beta's location, who quickly evades otu of the way. Beta turns to the Tangsooyook members asking what the point of their attack was, but begins to notice the Mirotic Guardian beginning to act weird as if it was glitching out. Miseng yells out to Prince that now's his chance, as the latter charges forward with his needle ready to land an attack on the guardian.

Calling his attack the Superpower Splasher, Prince manages to cut through the guardian. Seeing Prince's attack work, Beta and Aka begin to piece together what the Tangsooyook members were aiming for. That the device maintaining the Mirotic Guardian illusion was hidden within the Hell Train Entrance gate.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_166.jpg
The Mirotic Guardian finally defeated

Beta and Aka also confirm that the current Mirotic Guardian they're fighting is indeed a half-real being rather than a full illusion. That it's possible to damage the guardian when it's closer to the gate, because the device in the gate is providing it shinsu. Beta believes to have gotten the gist of how the Mirotic Guardian works, and charges forward to punch the glitched out guardian with a Dionysos ignition punch.

Aka asks for Moontari to support Beta's attack, which the blue-skinned Regular agrees to do so as he and Aka move into position to block the guardian's next spear attacks. Akraptor prepares another umbrella beam attack, and admits that this is easy for him since the Mirotic Guardian is a target that seems to never move.

Akraptor's shinsu blast hits the gate again as the Mirotic Guardian glitches out even further. An excited Beta claims that this is the end for the guardian as he and Prince charge in to land physical strikes on it. However, Ran jumps up from behind them with a lightning spear ready; claiming that it's he who will be the one that finishes the Mirotic Guardian off as he throws the lightning spear towards it. A massive explosion occurs at the location of the guardian as it finally disappears from the Hell Train Entrance.

Having won against the Mirotic Guardian, Beta calls out Ran for almost getting him and Prince caught in the lightning explosion, which Ran apologizes for since he couldn't see the two of them due to their small size. The answer irritates Prince claiming that they aren't small as Ran looks to the three Tangsooyook members realizing that their team has finally made it to Train City.

Akraptor assures Aka that they're on the same side

Prince gives off a smile asking if they were waiting on Team Tangsooyook to see how powerful the team has gotten since the Workshop Battle, but Ran answers that if he was waiting on seeing how people Tangsooyook has gotten, it would have been someone else. Ran claims that Prince and their yellow-head leader are the most annoying of the Tangsooyook lot, which greatly irritates Prince.

Aka walks up to Akraptor claiming that the Tangsooyook newcomers seem to be on their side. In return, Akraptor mentions that he's heard of the giant known as Aka, and admits that seeing him in person is definitely a huge guy. Akraptor informs Aka that they heard about what's going on from Rak at the fake tournament, which Aka assumes that this means that Team Tangsooyook is also here to stop Team Rachel from reaching the Hell Train. Akraptor explains that they put their plan into action the moment they got here, and were actually lucky to have arrived late to Train City since it meant that they didn't get caught up in the fake tournament trap on the Stadium floor. He also asks for Aka to not worry about their possible involvement in the Stadium fake tournament since Team Tangsooyook isn't interested in anything there. Akraptor assures Aka that they won't get in the latter team's way, which Aka hopes is the case.

Ran reminds the Hell Train Entrance Regulars that their target is Cassano

Looking around, Ran asks about Khun's current location, which Akraptor answers that he went up to the Hell Train station platform ahead of them. Akraptor explains that they found another path up to where the Hell Train's at, and asks Ran if Cassano really will be there, and has become a part of FUG by joining up with Team Rachel.

Ran answers that this has turned out to be the case, and most likely means that Rachel and Cassano have decided to work together. Turning his attention to the blown open Hell Train Entrance gate, Ran states to everyone else in the room that it's about time for them to get moving so that they can finally catch Cassano.

Returning to the Helix Stairwell, Angel uses her Metalfish to pick up Hwaryun as her hostage, as she and Daniel retreat to the rest of Team Rachel waiting for them at the Hell Train station platform. Still chasing after them, Bam calls out to Hwaryun hoping she's ok as Boro realizes that at this point, they need to catch up to them no matter what before they take their guide away. Realizing he has no choice anymore, Bam uses the power of the Thorn to quicken his pace up the stairwell in order to catch up to Daniel and Angel.

Boro watches the Thorn powered Bam run up the stairs in front of him, and admits that the boy is fast. He duduces that Bam's speed increase makes no logical sense, and wonders if it has something to do with the red Thorn-like object that has appeared above his right shoulder. Meanwhile during their retreat, Angel looks behind, and is shocked to see Bam suddenly catching up to them.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_169.jpg
Angel attempts to stall Bam's chase by attacking him with her Metalfish

Angel is confused as to why Bam is suddenly really fast, which Daniel warns her that he's a FUG Slayer Candidate with the power of Enryu's Thorn. He asks for Angel to keep her guard up having confirmed that Bam isn't an easy match, which catches Angel's attention. Stopping her retreat for now, Angel orders her Metalfish to crush the boy with the Thorn chasing after them as the creature flies toward Bam. She notices Bam preparing a Thorn powered shinsu Bang to destroy her Metalfish, and orders her pet to spread before he could complete the attack. Bam throws his Thorn-powered shinsu Bang towards the Metalfish, but is surprised to see the creature split into many smaller creatures as the beam passes right through it.

Seeing the tiny metal creatures floating around, Boro and Bam are left confused as to what's going to happen next as all the small metal creatures fly towards Bam for their next attack. He creates several more Bangs of shinsu, and sends them at the small metal creatures, but they split once more evading each Bang attack. Bam looks to Angel and her giant Metalfish carrying Hwaryun, and now realizes that there's many more small flying metal creatures now in his way. Angel explains that her Metalfish can divide into many pieces depending on the power of her enemies attacks, and taunts Bam that no matter how strong he is, he can't do anything against the splitting Metalfish.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_170.jpg
Angel's Metalfish splitting into smaller minions every time Bam attacks

Angel next apologizes to Bam stating that the new plan is to take Hwaryun along with them, which Angel says is disappointing for her since she wanted to eat the guide so badly. However, Angel claims that she will kill Hwaryun anyway if she proves to be bothersome. Agreeing that he won't make it at this rate, Bam figures that his only option is to rely on more of the Thorn's power.

Meanwhile, the Ran, Aka, Moontari, Beta, Akraptor, Prince and Miseng ground have run beyond the Hell Train Entrance gate to catch up to Helix Stairwell. They note that the path to the stairs is taking longer than they thought. Ran mentions that a weird stick-biter appeared at the Hell Train Entrance when Team Nobic first came to Train City, which Aka figures that the guy must have been one of the members of Team Rachel. Aka also asks if the three Tangsooyook members are acquaintances of a boy named Bam, which Akraptor answers that they use to be teammates when Bam used to be a part of Tangsooyook. Akraptor also points out that the original plan was to reunite with Bam here at Train City, but ended up arriving a day behind schedule. Prince adds in that they moved for the Hell Train Entrance the moment they heard what was going on from Rak, the latter of which is still pretending to be a part of the fake tournament at the Stadium.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_171.jpg
Prince and Akraptor explain that they know about the current situation thanks to Rak

Prince also adds that Rak was eager to join them despite the alligator needing to say at the tournament to keep the other D-rankers busy from possibly interrupting their chase after Team Rachel. Prince then asks for Madame Aka not to worry now that the glorious prince is here, which confuses Aka given that the giant is a male. Ran interrupts claiming that Prince's claim is a joke since he's a problem to his own team, which irritates Prince. However, Miseng ends up agreeing with Ran.

Ran then asks about the flower that Miseng put in her hair during the fight with the Mirotic Guardian, and states that he remembers how she lost control when she tried to use it at the Workshop Battle. Prince answers that following said Workshop Battle, Team Tangsooyook studied up on possible methods of ways to quickly blow up their potential power. Miseng and Prince would end up meeting with Team Leesoo's doll-making Regular, Verdi, again to learn how to use the power that Miseng was provided by her flower. Verdi answers that there's a seed for the flower that allows people to stay in control once they take in the power of the flower. Prince explains that over the past year, they've been training with the seed to use the flower's added power without losing control, and while it's still a bit unstable, they've managed to now keep control while under the influence of Verdi's flower. Prince asks if Ran is amazed at how powerful they've gotten, which Ran stubbornly admits to himself that the useless members of Team Tangsooyook indeed did a bit of training since the Workshop Battle.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_172.jpg
Bam controls a single Thorn-powered Bang to kill all of Angel's Metalfish minions

Akraptor is the next to speak asking if Ran misses his brother, Khun, which Ran quickly answers that he doesn't have a brother. However, Akraptor reassures the Khun member that his brother has gotten a lot stronger than any of the Regulars who climbed up the Tower with him since the Workshop Battle. Akraptor also mentions that he's looking forward to seeing Bam again.

Back to the Helix Stairwell, Bam stands ready to continue fighting against Angel, who's now surrounded by many tiny Metalfish creatures. Angel asks what Bam plans to do now since he won't be able to stop the baby Metalfish from multiplying no matter how many Bangs he uses to try to destroy them all. Bam answers by creating another Bang, and throws it at the mass of tiny Metalfish. Angel finds this funny knowing that one Bang isn't going to affect her metal pets, but she begins to become confused upon seeing the one shinsu Bang zooming around the Helix Stairwell hitting every single baby Metalfish.

All her baby Metalfish are now destroyed by the one Bang as a surprised Angel wonders what she just saw as if the Bang Bam created was alive. Daniel stops his retreat to look back at the bizarre Bang Bam just used, and deduces that he used some sort of technique as if he put his own soul into the Bang in order to make it seem like the shinsu Bang was alive so that it could move about freely in the area. Looking at the exhausted Bam, Daniel wonders if the boy he's looking at is a monster.

Suddenly, a beam of shinsu fires up from a lower portion of the Helix Stairwell as Angel moves out of the way before it hits her. Everyone looks down the stairs wondering what's going on as a voice calls out to Bam stating that it's been awhile.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_173.jpg
Bam sees that his old teammates have reached the Helix Stairwell

Bam recognizes the voice of the person greeting him as Boro asks who the new group of Regulars are. The two of them spot the three members of Tangsooyook, followed closely by Ran, and the two members of Team Aka, at the base of the Helix Stairwell. Daniel notices that his old giant comrade, Aka, is amongst the group, which shocks Aka as well seeing Daniel again.

Aka yells out in confusion why Daniel is here since he heard of the latter's death many years ago, which hurts the ears of the rest of the group given how loud the giant can shout. Daniel is left disappointed that despite wanting to get on the Hell Train as quickly as possible, he ended up meeting everyone from that time again. He also mentions that it's a disgusting reunion seeing Boro and Aka again.

Meanwhile on the Hell Train platform, Rachel urges Yura to come along with them since they're about to begin their journey to the place where they can get what they want. Yura is amazed to know that the journey is actually starting, which the Train Administrator, Poro mentions is definitely the case once they walk up the platform staircase to reach the side-entrance, and enter into the Hell Train.

    Khun's Hell Train Platform Team

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_174_5.jpg
Khun, Wangnan, and Ehwa, arrive on the Skyscraper to greet Rachel and company

However, Poro warns Yura and Team Rachel that only those with an Express Ticket will be able to board the express. He explains that those who try to enter the Hell Train without an Express Ticket will be quickly eliminated by the Hell Train's powerful navigator, and claims that Team Rachel is better off not trying to test their strength against it. Poro advices once more that only those with Express Tickets should enter so that they don't run into the navigator.

Team Rachel begin to move towards the platform stairwell on the station that leads up to the side-entrance of the Hell Train. However, an elevator door at the far end of the Hell Train station platform suddenly opens, which grabs the attention of Team Rachel and Poro. Khun, Wangnan, and Ehwa, are seen appearing out of an elevator door as the former complains that this took a bit too long. Looking at Rachel and company before him, Khun asks if they're trying to leave on the Hell Train without them.

Team Rachel, Poro and Yura are left confused by the sudden appearance of Khun and company on Train City's Hell Train platform as a shocked Rachel asks how Khun managed to make it here. Khun answers that he's not sure himself how he did it, but points out how surprised he is that the two people he's after, Rachel and Cassano, are paired up on the same team. Given their history, Khun says to Rachel that it's been awhile since they've last seen one another.

Rachel begins to suspect that the only answer as to why Khun is here is because he must have gotten here at an earlier time before Team Rachel. However, Khun assures her that he arrived late like everyone else on Tangsooyook.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_175.jpg
Khun explains how he found the real elevator that leads up to the Hell Train

Khun explains that he ran into some problems on the way here making him a day late, but was able to make it to Train City before evening. He also states that Rak told him everything about what Team Rachel was trying to pull and taunts Rachel as to how lucky he is for being late since it meant that he didn't get caught up in the Stadium's fake tournament trap. Ignoring Khun's words, Rachel asks once more how Khun managed to make it here since the elevator they used to reach the Train City's Hell Train platform can't be used by ordinary Regulars.

Khun points out that Rachel is correct in that the elevator he used was set to not allow Regulars to use it, and could only be used if it was approved by someone of a higher status, like a Ranker. However, Khun points out that the elevator they took up to the Hell Train platform is entirely different than the main elevator that goes between the six levels of Train City. Khun explains that all the elevator entrances at Train City's entrance platform where expresses throughout the 35th Floor first arrive at all converge into one shaft that supposedly connects to Train City's six levels. However, it turned out that the top two levels, the Control Center and the Skyscraper, were fakes, and that there was a secret shaft separate from the main elevator that leads to the true Control Center and Skyscraper levels. The true Skyscraper level being the Hell Train platform. Khun adds that the secret path to get to the true Control Center and Skyscraper levels was located on the Restaurant level, and admits that it wasn't an easy task to accomplish.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_176.jpg
Khun explains how he created his own elevator by destroying the restricted one

Continuing his explanation, Khun mentions that while they succeeded in finding the true elevator, it was no use since they still needed approval from someone higher up to ride the elevator up as simple Regulars. However, Khun points out that he came up with a simple solution to get up here without needing the approval step, which was to destroy the elevator, and create a new one. Khun points in the direction of his lighthouse to show that they floated on the boxes up the secret elevator shaft to reach this Skyscaper Hell Train platform location.

Poro objects to Khun's tactic since something bad could happen regarding Khun's rule-breaking to reach the Hell Train platform. However, Khun counters that it was Poro and Team Rachel that broke the rules to begin with. Khun explains that the scary Hell Train Captain seems to have disappeared, and Train City's Mirotic Guardian seems to have been locked up somewhere.

Giving off a grin, Khun concludes that Poro and Team Rachel must have opened up a path to get a certain VIP on the Hell Train with them, but thanks to their efforts, it made Khun and company's trip to the Hell Train a lot easier since there wasn't much left to get in their way. Khun threatens Poro and Team Rachel that given he and his Tangsooyook company have officially arrived here, they have no choice but to take them on the Hell train. However, Khun also states that he plans to leave everyone behind here, which irritates Poro.

    Khun's Team vs. Rachel's Team

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_177.jpg
Team Rachel prepare to take on Khun's group while Yura heads for the Hell Train

Turning to Rachel, Poro asks what he's supposed to do since he has no choice but to take Khun and company along, but Rachel reassures him not to worry. She assures Poro that they will deal with this matter since this is a matter that only concerns them.

Going along with Rachel's plan, Poro advices Yura to get on the train first, which the idol agrees to do so. As Yura is seen running up the platform stairs toward the Hell Train side-entrance, the rest of Team Rachel turn their attention to Khun and company.

Khun asks if Wangnan will be fine being a part of this fight warning him that their opponent is Cassano, a Living Ignition Weapon that even Ran struggled to fight against. Wangnan answers that he's already aware of this, but states that this is a fight he can't miss since it's a chance to bring Horyang's consciousness back. Ehwa warns Wangnan not to get too excited since Cassano isn't someone he can face alone, which an irritated Wangnan replies that he knows that as well.

However, Wangnan states that if they're lucky here, they can capture Cassano alive at this very moment. The mention of being captured by Team Tangsooyook catches Cassano's attention, which Wangnan asks for the Devil of the Right Arm to come at him since he plans to take Cassano back to Horyang by any means necessary. The battle to get back Horyang's devil has now officially begun.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_178.jpg
Daniel informs his old teammates, Boro and Aka, that he plans to resurrect Roen

Meanwhile on the Helix Stairwell, Bam and Boro continue to stand at a lower part of the stairs before Angel and Daniel, who have Hwaryun as their hostage. Daniel mentions once more how disgusting this is, and states that he wants to throw up seeing Boro and Aka again. Boro and Aka remain confused by this situation as the latter yells up to Daniel asking how he's here, and still alive after all this time. Aka claims that he heard of how Daniel had died on a past Hell Train run trying to resurrect Roen from the dead, which Daniel admits was the case hundreds of years ago.

Daniel explains that it was indeed his goal to resurrect Roen by returning to the hell known as the Hell Train, and that his attempt resulted in his death on the Hell Train. However, Daniel reveals that on his previous Hell Train run, he found a way to restore Roen back to life. Boro finds the claim to be complete nonsense, but Daniel states that to bring Roen back, he plans to open the door that will bring that guy out in the world again. The mention of the person that Daniel is planning to release shocks Boro as Daniel states that once he meets that guy on the Hell Train again, Roen will be able to come back.

Thinking it over, Boro pieces together that the person FUG is after on the Hell Train is also the person that Daniel is going to seek help from to resurrect Roen. Aka begs Daniel not to seek help from that crazy bastard, but Daniel warns his former two teammates that they can't stop him. A moment after, Daniel begins to form Living Creature shinsu balls in both of his hands.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_179_9.jpg
Bam continues the chase alone after Daniel destroys the Helix Stairwell

He calls out Boro and Aka for their cowardice by running away when Roen was dying before their very eyes. He also claims that their other former teammate, Sachi, was no different. That all three of them ended up being useless during that Hell Train run.

Daniel leaves off saying that now's about time for them to say good-bye, and states to Jue Viole Grace that he hopes to see him again somewhere down the line. His former teammates beg him to stop as Daniel slams his Living Creature attack down into the stairs before him.

Boro orders everyone to dodge the falling rubble as Bam and company realize that Daniel has chosen to destroy the Helix Stairwell so that they can no longer continue the chase. Using the Thorn's power, Bam jumps across the broken part of the stairwell and continues the chase after Daniel and Angel on his own.

As he continues the chase after the two Team Rachel members up the Helix Stairwell, Bam is left wondering what's going on regarding the Hell Train. Bam wonders who the person is that Daniel is trying to meet, and how this person is connected to FUG. He then wonders how Rachel fits into all this.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_180_3.jpg
Wangnan prepares to fight Cassano

Returning to the Hell Train platform, Wangnan asks Cassano why he isn't coming at him, which the Devil of the Right Arm answers that their attempt to catch him is foolish. Cassano steps forward, and states that there are many other ways Wangnan and company could have chosen to kill themselves, but they ended up choosing the most stupidest by attempting to confront him. He questions Wangnan and company why Ilmar chose to abandon his only friend from the Living Ignition Weapon experiments for a group of fools. The jousting stick user from Team Rachel gives off a laugh that he's finally getting to see what the dreaded Devil of the Right Arm is capable of. Preparing to fight, Khun asks if Wangnan is shivering at the sight of Cassano, which Wangnan quickly denies.

Pulling out his weapon inventory Pocket, Wangnan claims that he will show off what he's managed to achieve in this past year's training. Wangnan grabs one of his shinsu exploding balls, which Cassano finds to be a complete joke that he's facing off against a toy. Wangnan assures him that his toy ball is actually a shinsu bomb, and that it's a weapon that's been created specifically for dealing with Cassano. The claim confuses Cassano as Wangnan throws it towards the Devil of the Right Arm, and ordering him to eat it. To the surprise of everyone on Team Rachel, Wangnan's shinsu ball opens up instead of exploding as a shinsu Bang appears out of it. The Bang goes directly for Cassano, who manages to block it with his Devil arms. However, to Cassano's surprise, the Bang suddenly moves away from his arms, and travels around him to hit the Devil of the Right Arm from behind. Soon enough, the Bang continues to move around Cassano as Wangnan's attack strikes from all sides.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_181.jpg
Khun calls out Rachel for being a sly person that never changes

The Bang then returns to Wangnan's hand once the attack has completed. Thinking over what just happened, Cassano concludes that Wangnan used some sort of bomb that he can control as he pleases, but figures that it's still not strong enough to damage him. However, to Cassano's shock, he sees that Wangnan's attack managed to cut his right arm.

Rachel is shocked by the attack's effectiveness as she sees Khun walking up to him with a knife ready to fight. He reminds Rachel that it's been almost two years now since they last saw one another, and that there's many things that he wishes to know from her. Thinking over what it could possibly be that Khun wants to know, Rachel asks what Khun wishes to know.

She gives Khun a variety of questions that might be what Khun wishes to know: of why she pushed Bam away on the 2nd Floor, of why she pretended to go along with Khun's team with perfectly fine legs, of what she broke Dan's legs, of why she's here at Train City with these people, and of what her overall end-game is. Khun isn't surprised by how Rachel is acting, and states that Rachel is still the same old person as ever that only looks to herself rather than the people around her. He calls out Rachel for being such a sly woman, which Rachel agrees with. However, she points out that to someone else (implying Bam), she is the brightest woman ever.

Rachel goes over how to Bam, she is seen as his brightest star. A star so bright that it can only be properly seen by him. Khun orders her to keep dreaming, and asks if she believes that Bam will still view her in that manner if he was to be told everything that Rachel has done until this point. He claims that Rachel is nothing more than filthy trash, and Bam will soon find that out. Preparing her lighthouses for a fight, Rachel claims that her connection to Bam is none of Khun's business.

Meanwhile at the Wangnan can Cassano fight, the Devil of the Right arm asks how Wangnan managed to damage his Living Ignition Weapon body with a simple shinsu bomb. Wangnan reminds Cassano that he created this bomb specifically for fighting against a Living Ignition Weapon.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_182.jpg
Wangnan uses a Workshop crafted Antimatter Bomb against Cassano

Showing the bomb in his hand, Wangnan explains that it's a bomb created by Workshop using their special technology allowing for his attacks to affect Living Ignition Weapons. Cassano is left confused as to how Wangnan could learn of such a skill from something as powerful as Workshop since he's just a kid, which Wangnan explains that Researcher Sophia of Workshop has been brought to their side.

The mention of Sophia shocks Cassano, which Wangnan explains that Workshop had developed special shinsu bombs as a control policy in case the worst possible scenario happened where the Living Ignition Weapons they created end up going rogue. Wangnan states that the bomb he's currently using is known as an Antimatter Bomb, and that it's ability is destroying the bodies of those that had their cells turned into ignition liquid that houses a living devil. He also claims that for the sake of Horyang, it was Sophia who taught him how to make such a bomb.

Holding the Antimatter Bomb to continue fighting, Wangnan claims that it took him the whole year since the Workshop Battle to learn how to control this unstable bomb. Wangnan explains that holding the Antimatter Bomb destroys his own body cells, but claims that he is willing to pay the price if it means that Cassano will be captured, and brought back to Horyang. Cassano calls out Wangnan for such a crazy method, and warns the latter that his body's not going to last much longer trying to utilize the Antimatter Bomb for combat. However, Wangnan replies that it doesn't matter since this is a chance to take Cassano with him. He throws the Antimatter Bomb towards the Devil of the Right Arm once more.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_183.jpg
Ehwa joins the fight against Cassano

Cassano evades the Antimatter Bomb, and admits that since it's a bomb that can more freely, it will definitely be a threat to him. He charges toward Wangnan directly knowing that the Antimatter Bomb is useless if he takes the one controlling it down, but is suddenly met by a flame attack from his right side. Cassano blocks the flames hitting the right side of his body, and wonders what's going on. He looks to the new attacker, and sees a woman using fire in the distance with her right arm swarming in flames.

Irritated that Cassano simply called her a fire-woman, Ehwa introduces herself as a member of the Great Yeon Family as she holds a sword of flames toward the Devil of the Right Arm. The mention that he's dealing with someone from a Great Family that has the powers of fire leaves Cassano disturbed as he's about to get hit by Wangnan's Antimatter Bomb. Cassano activates the power of his Devil Arm to deflect the bomb away as it returns once more to Wangnan's hand.

Seeing Cassano now with his Devil Arm active makes Wangnan laugh as it means that the Devil of the Right Arm has finally decided to get serious. Putting his Antimatter Bomb back in his weapon inventory, Wangnan states that it's about time for him to get serious as well. Cassano prepares himself knowing that Wangnan is about to surprise him with a new bomb, but watches him throw it towards the ground. Cassano remains confused as to what's going on, but begins to see the Hell Train Platform ground all around him beginning to break apart.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_184.jpg
Khun cuts through Rachel's attempt at smashing him with her lighthouse

The Devil of the Right Arm concludes that Wangnan is aiming for an unseen underground attack, but Wangnan answers that while this is indeed the case, it's also a combination attack. The mention of the combination attack grabs Cassano's attention as Ehwa asks him what he believes will happen if her Yeon Family flames end up touching his body that has been weakened by the Antimatter Bomb. Powering up her flame-abilities, Ehwa puts her hands on the ground, and sends a massive flame explosion upon Cassano's location.

Rachel looks in Cassano's direction hoping he's going to be ok as Khun reminds her of how surprised he is to learn that she's teamed up with the Devil of the Right Arm. Holding up his knife, Khun gives off a smile, and states that he doesn't care about the story that brought the two of them together since he's about to finish off two annoying people without having to go to the trouble of chasing two different locations. Rachel asks if Khun really believes he can beat her that easily, which Khun answers that he can do it by beating her down to death. Rachel admits that Khun is as confident as ever, but warns him that she's going to be leaving this place soon by riding the Hell Train.

Khun charges forward asking who in their right mind would allow Rachel to get on the Hell Train. Moving a large lighthouse between herself and Khun, Rachel claims that she herself will make it so. The size of Rachel's lighthouse shocks Khun as Rachel claims that he's an incredibly annoying person. Rachel slams her lighthouse down on Khun's location as she breaths heavily in exhaustion having to move such a massive object. However, Rachel is left stunned in shock upon seeing Khun cut through her lighthouse. Khun admits that Rachel's attack was impressive since he never expected her to be someone that could use such a powerful compression skill on a lighthouse.

    Bam and Rachel Reunion

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_185.jpg
Arriving on the Skyscraper, Bam finally sees Rachel again after so many years

However, Khun warns her that it's a shame he ended up being her opponent since he's got such a good knife that has a little bit of float rock melded into it that allows him to slice apart lighthouses. The revelation shocks Rachel as Khun walks toward her once more asking if this giant lighthouse attack is all that she's prepared to try to fight with.

Khun calls out Rachel once more for being someone who hasn't changed one bit. He claims that Rachel is a despicable person who's unable to do anything by herself, and taunts her for being someone that will always need someone else's help to push her forward. Seeing Rachel and Cassano struggling, the jousting stick user of Team Rachel gives off a grin wondering if it's about time for him to enter the fight. He cracks his knuckles preparing for battle.

Returning to the Helix Stairwell, Angel and Daniel are about to reach the end of the stairs with Hwaryun as their hostage while Bam continues to chase after them. Angel asks what they're supposed to do about Bam since he's still on their tail, which Daniel answers that they just need to reach the Hell Train since they won't be able to continue the chase once they board it. Moments later, they all reach the top of the Helix Stairwell, and are now on the Hell Train platform. Looking to his left, Bam spots the members of Khun's group and Team Rachel fighting. However, for the first time since the final 2nd Floor test, Bam's attention is quickly brought to finally seeing Rachel again. In return, Rachel and Khun realize that Bam has arrived on the Hell Train platform. The rest of team Rachel question the odd atmosphere they're feeling seeing what looks like a reunion between Bam, Khun and Rachel.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_186.jpg
Boro and company wondering how they're supposed to jump the Helix Stairwell gap

Khun calls out to the exhausted Bam, but is annoyed that the latter is too far away to properly hear him. Bam meanwhile continues to look into Rachel's eyes, and finally calls out her name.

Back to the base of the Helix Stairwell, Prince is heard complaining within the rubble as Aka moves all the rock chunks away that fell upon the group. Aka asks if everyone is alright, which Prince thanks the giant female giant for, but Aka informs him that he's a male known as Aka Williams. Akraptor thanks Aka as well despite the fact that they're on different teams, but Aka replies that given their current situation, they might as well be considered the same team. Aka calls up to Boro in remains of the Helix Stairwell hoping that his former teammate made it out alive as Boro is seen crawling out complaining that Daniel's attack almost killed him. Aka asks Boro about what happened to Daniel, which Boro explains that he escaped up what was left of the Helix Stairwell while Bam managed to chase after him. The answer annoys Aka knowing that this means that they can no longer catch up to Daniel here. Seeing the broken staircase before him, Boro asks the group what they're supposed to do now.

Returning to the Hell Train platform, Wangnan spots his old teammate, Viole, having reached their location. This also catches the jousting stick person's attention hearing the name of FUG's newest Slayer Candidate, Jue Viole Grace.

Daniel noticing Yura making her way up to the Hell Train side-entrance

Khun begins to fear what's going to happen next given Bam's past deep connection to Rachel, and deduces that this timing couldn't have come as a worser time. Ehwa notices that Bam has arrived as well, but as she looks back at the smoke left over from her and Wangnan's combination attack, she sees Cassano appearing out of it ready to continue the fight.

Daniel goes over his current situation, and comes to the conclusion that Bam and Rachel seem to have some sort of personal story. He also concludes that the blue guy who was fighting with Rachel is no doubt one of the snobs from the Great Khun Family, and appears to be fighting on the same side as Bam. Daniel also looks over to Cassano's current fight, and could tell that the flame-girl and the yellow-head with the shinsu bombs are fighting on Bam's side as well. He then looks to the express, and sees Ha Yura making her way up the platform stairwell towards the side-entrance of the Hell Train.

Bam and Rachel continue to look at one another unable to speak a single word to each other. He notices Rachel's hand begin to tremble; causing Bam to wonder what he should say to her. If something like long time no see would make for a good answer. Bam continues to think in his head what it should be that he should say to her: if something plain like how have you been would work, or telling her that he missed her, or ask what she's been scheming in order to acquire something that requires the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_188.jpg
Rachel asks Bam why he's alive, and still choosing to chase after her

Beginning to clench his fist, the main thing Bam wishes to know is why she pushed him away back on the 2nd Floor. Before Bam could properly ask a question, Rachel asks why he choose to follow after her once more. She also asks how Bam managed to survive, and states that he was supposed to have died back on the 2nd Floor. The questions leaves Bam stunned in shock unable to say anything back.

Meanwhile, the smoke fully clears from the Cassano battle as the Devil of the Right Arm remains standing with his Devil Arm still active. Wangnan isn't surprised in the last that Cassano is still able to stand after his and Ehwa's combination attack, which grabs the Devil of the Right Arm's attention. Wangnan explains that the only reason Cassano is still standing is because Ehwa toned down her flames since their goal is not to kill him, but to capture. He warns Cassano that Ehwa's flames are dangerous even to someone that's a Living Ignition Weapon if she decides to go all out. Cassano thinks things over, and asks Wangnan if his explanation earlier means that Sophia actually went so far as to create a weapon just in case a Living Ignition Weapon turns against her.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_189.jpg
Cassano activates the Devil Arm that he stole from Horyang

Wangnan tries to explain to the idiot Devil Arm user that Sophia did it for another reason, but Cassano gives off a laugh, and finishes Wangnan's sentence that Sophia did it for the Living Ignition Weapons. Cassano explains that to Sophia, he and Ilmar were nothing more than weapons; lab rats for her experiments. He concludes that the only reason Sophia picked them out for the experiments was so that she could one day before powerful herself given that like Cassano and Ilmar, she was also an abandoned child from the middle areas of the Tower. Cassano states that he understands now knowing that he's just a weapon being used to realize Sophia's ideals. However, even despite knowing that, he still supports her goal despite what it turned him and Ilmar into.

Wangnan replies to Cassano's story that he doesn't know what's going on between him and Sophia, but reminds the Devil of the Right arm that the only reason he and Ehwa are here is to bring Cassano back in order to wake up Horyang. Cassano admits that one day, he should definitely wake up Ilmar, which confuses Wangnan. However, Cassano informs him and Ehwa that he can't do it just yet. That the great power given to him and Ilmar is a burden, but also has a purpose. Cassano claims that if Ilmar doesn't understand why they were given the power of the devil, then he doesn't deserve to be reawakened. Suddenly, Cassano's second arm begins to unravel, and glows a familiar blue.

Back to Bam's location, he repeats the question that Rachel asked him, but is unable to properly come up with an answer. Poro runs up to Daniel, and complains that none of this is going the way the stick-biter said it would. That Daniel would have everything taken care of at this point. However, Daniel orders him to be quiet for the moment as they're currently at a crucial moment that is very important. Poro looks in the direction Daniel is looking and sees that the moment he's referring to is Bam being lost in thought regarding the question Rachel had just asked him.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_190.jpg
Daniel warns Poro that they need to escape to the Hell Train on the navigator

Daniel turns his attention back to Poro, and asks for the Train Administrator to call for the navigator, which shocks Poro. Daniel explains that this place is about to turn into mayhem, and it will reach a point where Team Rachel will need to bounce out of here as quickly as possible. The stick-biter states that the goal will be to use the navigator to get onto the express once the Hell Train's side-door opens.

Returning to Bam, he asks Rachel why she would ask him something like that, which also grabs Khun's attention knowing that Rachel's questions are hurting Bam. Looking at Bam, Khun looks down in frustration wondering why this reunion has to be happening now during a chance to stop her and Cassano. Bam asks once more why she said those questions, and asks why she isn't coming up with an excuse for her actions. Rachel remains silent as Bam claims that the reason he's followed her this far up the Tower is because he still had faith in her that there was an explanation for all that she's done.

Nearby, Angel flies over to the jousting stick user on her team, and asks what he's doing given that Viole is standing right in front of them. The jousting stick user answers that he already knows this, but states that he's waiting it out since the scene unfolding before them at the moment is worth seeing with his own eyes.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_191.jpg
Cassano as an unstable Complete One

Giving off a grin, he and Angel watch as they see Cassano's arm swarming with the power of two Devil Arms; his, and the one he took from Horyang. Wangnan looks at the Devil of the Right Arm before him, and confirms that the blue power swarming around Cassano's right arm is, no doubt, the devil that he stole away from Horyang.

He calls Cassano a bastard wondering if this means that the Devil of the Right Arm managed to become a Complete One now that he has the two devil halves combined into one body. Cassano's right eye glows blue as he sends a blast of shinsu towards Wangnan with the stolen right arm. Wangnan is amazed at how scary the attack was as Ehwa calls out ot him hoping her teammate is ok.

Looking at Horyang's devil swarming around Cassano's right arm, Wangnan fears that being hit by it come instantly destroy his body. Wangnan also figures that now that Cassano can attack with both arms using the two devil halves, the Devil of the Right Arm can cover all sides, even managing to counter the combination attacks with Ehwa. He concludes that Cassano has indeed become the ultimate Living Ignition Weapon.

Traveller warns Cassano that the latter shouldn't try to use both devil powers at once yet since he still doesn't have full control over it. He advices Cassano to wait until a later time so that the devil would become perfect, which catches Wangnan's attention.

Wangnan realizes that Cassano is already this powerful despite not being fully stable with the complete devil inside of him just yet. He then pulls out another shinsu bomb from his inventory ready to continue to fight. Wangnan next assures Ehwa that no matter what, he still stop Cassano right here and now.

Rachel tells Bam that her goal is more important than being with him

Back to the base of the Helix Stairwell, Boro confirms that no matter what, he won't be able to make it across the broken portion of the stairs to reach the higher portion that was still unbroken. Aka is left irritated wondering how Daniel managed to get so powerful to not allow them to reach the Hell Train platform, but it's at this point that Beta orders Aka to move out of the way. Powering up his Dionysos ignition, Beta claims that he plans to fly up in order to meet Cassano again.

Returning to the Hell Train platform, Poro asks if Daniel is crazy wanting to ride the navigator so that Team Rachel can escape from Bam and company. Poro warns Daniel that the navigator isn't something that can be used in such a manner, and figures that the Hell Train captain isn't going to like this, but Daniel interrupts stating that the captain shouldn't care since he's in on this plan anyway. Daniel also reminds Poro that the captain is a huge fan of Yura, and will go to great lengths to make sure that her journey succeeds.

Poro continues to not accept this, but Daniel assures him that it will be ok. Looking back at Bam, Daniel warns Poro that they shouldn't stick around for much longer because of that bastard.

Having thought it over, Bam begins to speak properly that the only reason he's made it all this way up the Tower was to find her. That he doesn't care about the Tower, or the sky stars that she wants to see at the top of it. All he needs in the end is her. He begins to say that he's still confused about all this, but Rachel reminds him that no matter what, she needs to accomplish this objective.

Bam asks if this goal of hers is more important than him, which Rachel quickly answers that it's much more important. The answer shocks Bam as Khun continues to watch not liking how this current situation is turning out. Clenching his fist in anger, Bam answers to Rachel that he doesn't like this result.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_193.jpg
Bam finds Rachel's reason for staying away from him to be unacceptable

Khun begins to fear for the worst as he spots the Thorn going unstable. He yells for Bam not to do it as Bam claims that this answer from Rachel is unacceptable. Knowing that they're running out of time, Daniel looks to Yura hoping that she's close to finishing her climb up the platform stairs toward the Hell Train side-entrance.

A few more steps later, Yura reaches the gate where the gate speaker asks for Yura to insert her Express Ticket to enter. Yura goes through her pockets, pulls out her Express Ticket, and places it into the slot. The Express Ticket is accepted, which causes Yura to grin in excitement. The speaker welcomes Yura to the Hell Train as the gate begins to open. Before Yura, black sparks of electricity can be seen slowly creeping out of the doorway into the Hell Train.

The power of the Thorn begins to swarm around Bam, which is felt by Khun and Rachel. Angel asks what's wrong with him while the jousting stick user continues to watch closely. The Thorn's power is also felt by Daniel and Poro as the stick-biter looks back to Yura to see if she's made it in yet. From a distance, he can see Yura having opened the Hell Train side-entrance, and slowly enters through the black electric-looking substance that is the doorway.

Daniel informs Poro that now's the time to activate the navigator, which Poro warns him once more that he can't as they're already breaking too many of the Tower rules at this point. However, Daniel gets up close to his face, and states to Poro again that it will be ok. He orders Poro once more to activate the navigator, and reminds the Train Administrator that he's also someone who's doing this to bring Roen back to life. Meanwhile, Wangnan and Ehwa continue to stand against Cassano ready to continue the fight, but the Devil of the Right Arm is seen struggling to control the power of both his and Horyang's devil halves.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_194.jpg
Beta and company witness the Thorn of the unstable Bam go out of control

Traveller begs him to stop using the power of the Complete One before it becomes to dangerous, which Ehwa deduces that they still have a chance to win since Cassano is clearly in an unstable state at the moment. Wangnan yells out that they're going to finish this battle now as he prepares to throw his shinsu bomb, but their fight is suddenly interrupted due to a sudden shake of the ground all around them. Wangnan, Ehwa and Cassano are left confused as to what just happened as they spot Bam going unstable with the Thorn in the distance.

Wangnan calls out to Viole asking what's going on, which grabs Ehwa's attention as well. Cassano remains silent, but is suddenly greeted by the arrival of Beta, who's carrying the exhausted Ran on his back, as well as Boro holding onto Beta's foot. However, Beta, Ran and Boro are left confused by the sight of Bam going unstable, and see that the Thorn floating above him has become massive. Beta looks to the massive Thorn, and wonders if this means that the ignition weapon has gone out of Bam's control.

Khun notices that the Thorn has gone out of control as well, and orders for Bam to get a grip before he loses himself. Bam remains silent as he continues to question in his head what it is that's causing Rachel to try to leave him, and what's more important to not want to be with him. He thinks about her desire to see the stars, and wonders if there's something else at the top of the Tower that she wants to see. He questions if this was why she pushed her away back on the 2nd Floor, and wonders if being a part of FUG has something to do with it. That FUG probably promised that they would help Rachel reach the top of the Tower. Continuing to clench his fist in anger, Bam continues to question what the answer is, but concludes that he doesn't need anything but Rachel. The Thorn's power begins to swarm around him even larger as everyone watches.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_195.jpg
Daniel informs Team Rachel that they're going to retreat on the navigator

Meanwhile, Poro asks if Daniel is really someone capable of bringing Roen back to life, which Daniel assures him that he is. This causes Poro to run in irritation in order to activate the navigator for Team Rachel. Poro yells back at Daniel that he should prepare himself for the worst if he failed to bring Roen back after all this rule breaking.

Daniel calls out to Angel and the jousting stick user that they're about ready to make a break for the Hell Train. The announcement confuses Angel, which Daniel orders for them to convince the crazy devil guy's group to get going as well. Angel asks how they're supposed to do this, which Daniel answers that they're going to be riding the navigator up to the Hell Train, which shocks Angel. Daniel then turns his attention back to Bam's area, and figures that it's about time to grab their heroine.

Back to the location of the Cassano fight, the jousting stick user arrives at the spot to inform the Devil of the Right Arm that they're leaving. Wangnan orders the newcomer not to interfere with the fight, but is suddenly greeted by a blast of shinsu from the jousting stick user that knocks Wangnan back.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_196.jpg
Bam smashes Daniel into the ground to keep him from taking Rachel away

Ehwa calls out to Wangnan hoping he's ok as she ends up getting greeted by many tiny Metalfish creatures from Angel. Successfully distracting Ehwa, Angel, who still has Hwaryun as her hostage, appears next to Cassano to also tell him to get moving with the rest of Team Rachel.

Khun looks to the Wangnan fight, and is left annoyed knowing that their chance to get Cassano is falling apart. He then looks back at Bam, and concludes that he can't head over to help out Wangnan while his friend has gone completely unstable. Meanwhile, Rachel continues to look at Bam in complete silence knowing that a lot is going through his mind at the moment.

A moment later, Poro uses a remote to call the navigator to him, which is the giant mechanical red bird that originally led Team Rachel up the Helix Stairwell. Daniel approaches Rachel to inform her that they will be riding the navigator to reach the Hell Train side-entrance, which Rachel agrees to go along with after having one last look at the unstable Bam. The two of them begin to leave from the area as Khun calls out to Rachel ordering them to stop. Khun asks if Rachel is really going to leave Bam behind while he's completely unstable, but Khun's attention is suddenly brought to Bam, who finally starts moving.

Daniel looks behind him as well feeling the pressure coming towards him as the unstable Bam suddenly appears above him. Bam swirls a fist of shinsu powered by his Thorn, and claims that he's not going to give them a chance to escape. He slams his fist downward, which results in Daniel being smashed into the ground. The power of the attack shocks Rachel, as well as everyone else in the area. Daniel lies unconscious on the ground as the unstable Bam turns his attention to Rachel. The massive Thorn continues to go out of control as Bam claims that he won't allow Rachel to go anywhere. Khun calls out to Bam, but the latter ignores it as he states to Rachel that he doesn't understand the words she's saying.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_197.jpg
Bam asks Rachel to go back with him

Rachel remains stunned in shock at what she just witnessed as Bam begins to walk towards her. Bam states that if Rachel truly insists on leaving him, he will go to the effort of stopping her himself. Khun calls out to Bam once more warning him to stop his current actions, or the Thorn will go berserk. He also asks for Bam to get a grip since it's clear at this point that he's gone passed the time limit of being able to control the Thorn's power. However, Bam replies that he has to rely on the Thorn's power, or else he won't be able to hold onto Rachel, which hurts Khun knowing the pain that Bam must be going through at the moment.

Looking at the unstable Thorn, Khun questions what he's suppose to do in order to stop it from going berserk, and possibly posing a threat to Bam's life. He deduces that any further use of the Thorn's power will cause Bam to be swallowed up by the Thorn. Standing before Rachel, Bam asks for he and her to leave this place together. He asks for Rachel to go back with him to the place they came from, which causes Rachel to remain silent. Bam explains that he and her were happy back then just being with one another outside the Tower. He asks what it is that drives Rachel to go through all this just to make it to the top of the Tower, and reminds Rachel that she hurt many people along the way.

    The Jousting Stick User attacks

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_198.jpg
The jousting stick user of Team Rachel finally enters the fray to fight Bam

Khun continues to listen to Bam's speech as the latter continues by stating that he can't seem to understand anything about Rachel. However, their reunion is suddenly interrupted by the arrival of the jousting stick user, who says to Jue Viole Grace that he needs to let her go with them to the Hell Train. The jousting stick user charges in, and appears behind Bam. He claims that he's been waiting for the day to finally meet him with his jousting stick weapon ready to strike at the Slayer Candidate. Khun calls out to Bam realizing the sudden danger the latter is in, but Bam informs the jousting stick user that no matter what, Rachel will be leaving with him. Bam quickly moves from his current location, and appears behind the jousting stick user ready to land a punch of his own. However, the jousting stick user manages to quickly turn around, and deflects Bam's strike with his foot.

Bam and the jousting stick user separate from one another as the two stand off ready to fight. The jousting stick user confirms that Bam is indeed a fast one, and deduces that the Thorn's power must be pushing his physical boundaries far beyond what his body can handle. The excited jousting stick user claims that he can't seem to decide on what's more amazing. The fact that the Thorn is unlocking Bam's potential at such a fast rate, or that Bam is somehow managing to carry such a powerful thing on his back.

Still smashed against the ground, Daniel adds to the jousting stick user's deduction that whatever the case is, this still proves that Bam is a complete monster. Daniel figures that Bam is only going to become an even bigger monster once he continues to climb up the Tower.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_199.jpg
The jousting stick user checking on Daniel, who managed to survive

Daniel speaking surprises the jousting stick user since it means that Daniel somehow managed to survive that earlier punch he took from the Slayer Candidate. Daniel admits that he made an error underestimating Bam since the punch resulted in his legs being severely damaged, which the jousting stick user replies that he warned Daniel earlier to watch out for this next wave of young new guys that have recently become D-rankers.

Khun gives the order to the members of Team Tangsooyook to continue the chase after Cassano while he deals with Bam personally. He makes it clear to Wangnan and Ehwa that no matter what, they can't allow for Cassano to escape. Wangnan and Ehwa agree to the plan as the two of them charge at Cassano and Angel. The former throws his shinsu bomb towards the two Team Rachel members as Angel quickly evades out of the way.

Still lying on the ground, Daniel continues to try to think up a plan to get out of this knowing that the monster going berserk before getting the chance to leave on the Hell Train has made things a bit more complicated. Bam charges forward with a Thorn-powered punch reach to strike as the jousting stick user blocks the punch with his weapon.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_200.jpg
Daniel uses Living Creature on his damaged legs to save Rachel from Khun

The jousting stick user deduces that Bam's attack shouldn't make it through since it felt pretty light, but is suddenly greeted by another punch from Bam. Only this time around, having more power of the Thorn within it. The jousting stick user continues to hold back Bam with his weapon, but is shown to be struggling to hold on this time around knowing that Bam's second punch was heavier to block against.

Khun finally re-enters the fight, and moves his three lighthouses in Rachel's direction to trap her in a lighthouse field. Daniel notices what Khun's trying to pull, and admits that those blue bastards from the Great Khun Family have always been a troublesome bunch. He figures that it's about time to perform some emergency aid as his Living Creature power is seen swarming around his injured legs. Moments later, Khun manages to successfully trap Rachel in a lighthouse field, which shocks the latter seeing that she can't move. However, Khun's three lighthouses are suddenly destroyed by three purple Bangs, which frees Rachel from the field.

Khun turns his attention to the user of the purple Bangs, and sees that Daniel is standing again due to his Living Creature power moving his legs for him. Daniel lies to Khun that he's managing to pull this off because he's immortal, but begins to sweat knowing that he's still feeling the pain in his damaged legs by forcing them to stand up with his Living Creature shinsu.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_201.jpg
Bam vs. the jousting stick user

Daniel complains hoping that Poro will soon arrive with the navigator since waiting any longer could cause a different side-entrance to open that would separate Team Rachel from Yura. However, he suddenly hears a voice calling his name. The red bird navigator is seen flying towards them with Poro sitting on top of it ordering Daniel and company to get on so that they can reach the side-entrance Yura went through before it closes.

The close-combat fight between Bam and the jousting stick user continues, which the latter gives off a smile finding it unbelievable how great the kid is. He confirms that within their duel, Bam is somehow continuing to increase his speed throughout it. Throughout the duel, Bam confirms that there's something in his head talking to him, and that the voice is telling him that this is only a piece of the power that Bam could potentially gain hold of. Bam deduces that as long as he continues the fight, the voice will continue to provide him more and more power, and will be able to eventually defeat the jousting stick user before him.

Bam adds Ranker Mule Love's Slider technique to his next Thorn-powered combination attack, which the jousting stick user admits that he eventually won't be able to keep up with this. The voice tells Bam to aim for even greater heights as he goes in for a devastating blow against the jousting stick user. Bam attempts to use the Wave Explosion technique, which the jousting stick user again manages to block with his weapon, but is close to reaching his limit regarding how much longer he can hold out against the Slayer Candidate, and ends up getting knocked back.

Rachel's Team Escapes to the Hell Train

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_202.jpg
Rachel and Daniel move to escape with Poro on the navigator

After getting knocked back by Bam's last attack, the jousting stick user looks at his weapon, and admits that that was a close one given the damage that Bam managed to inflict on his jousting stick. He looks back at Bam, and deduces that the Slayer Candidate is someone that he shouldn't go easy on. He deduces that if he doesn't go all out in an effort to kill Bam, it will be himself that gets killed first.

As Team Rachel make their way to Daniel and Poro at the navigator, Rachel gives a look back at Bam, who's still fighting against her team's jousting stick user. Daniel calls out to Rachel asking for her to get on as she clenches her fist in worry wondering what Bam will try to do next. Trying to get them on the navigator, Poro asks what's holding them up, and warns Rachel that if they don't make it to the side-entrance in time, they will end up at a different section of the Hell Train away from Yura. Daniel advices her that they should get on the navigator now, which Rachel agrees to do. Khun yells out to Rachel ordering her to stop, but Boro is the first to reach their location trying to get Daniel to tell him where he's going. However, Daniel uses a massive Living Creation skill that completely surrounds Team Rachel and the navigator, which blocks Boro and company from reaching Daniel.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_203.jpg
Cassano retreats with Angel on her Metalfish while taking Hwaryun with them

Using his special knife, Khun cuts through Daniel's Living Creation skill, and yells out to Rachel trying to get her to stop. In return, Rachel summons a lighthouse, and makes it massive to block the path before Khun. Seeing the massive lighthouse before him, Khun deduces that he won't make it at this rate before Team Rachel escapes having to cut his way through Rachel's giant lighthouse.

Meanwhile, Team Tangsooyook attempts to fight their way to Cassano and Angel. However, Wangnan is blocked off by Angel's giant Metalfish while Ehwa goes about burning all the tiny metal creatures that have completely surrounded her. Angel warns Cassano that it's about time for them to get moving to return to the rest of Team Rachel since they've started to retreat towards the Hell Train. She then jumps on her Metalfish that has had the unconscious Hwaryun on it as she begins to move for the navigator. Cassano agrees to go along with it, and jumps on Angel's Metalfish as well as the creature then flies up to rejoin the rest of their team at the navigator. Wangnan and Ehwa are left on the ground as the former orders for Cassano to stop.

Back to Bam's fight, he walks toward the jousting stick user, who admits that the Slayer Candidate is an amazing one. The jousting stick user also states that Bam has proven to be a lot stronger compared to a year ago at the Workshop Battle.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_204.jpg
The jousting stick user reveals himself to be a Mad Dog like Baragav

However, the jousting stick user points out that most of the power Bam had been displaying appears to be from the power that's been provided by the Thorn. He also states his previous confusion as to why the complete newbie known as Bam was given the FUG Rank of Slayer Candidate, but admits he understands it now after facing off against Bam in combat. He even goes so far as to say that one day, Bam has the potential of becoming FUG's God. The jousting stick user figures that this was why Baragav couldn't finish Bam off during the Workshop Battle.

The mention of the Mad Dog, Baragav, grabs Bam's attention, which the jousting stick user reminds Bam of the strong muscular guy that appeared during the Workshop Battle that fought alongside Ron Mei. The jousting stick user reveals that he has a history with Baragav as Bam goes in once more in an attempt to land a kick, which the jousting stick user blocks. He asks if Bam's action is the Slayer Candidate's reply of ordering him to cut the crap and get lost, but he informs Bam that something like that isn't going to happen. Bam notices the jousting stick user swirl a massive attack around his weapon, and blasts it at Bam in point-blank range. The smoke from the jousting stick user's attack fades away as he spots Bam still standing perfectly fine. He admits that this proves that Bam has incredible resistance to shinsu, and notices that Bam's only weakness, his physical ability, has been steadily improving during their fight.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_205.jpg
Mad Dog escapes, but calls out to Bam that he's looking forward to their rematch

He confirms that at this rate, it will get to a point where he will not be able to beat Bam in a one-on-one fight. Looking at the out-of-control Thorn hovering above the Slayer Candidate, the jousting stick user claims that Bam must currently be in a state of invincibility. Giving off a grin, the jousting stick user thinks to himself that this is great for him since Bam is bringing out the power of the Thorn more and more, and it will eventually get to a point where he's met a true match that will give him a good fight. However, before he could continue, Angel yells out to the jousting stick user, known as a Mad Dog, to get a grip as it's about time for them to get out of here. She orders the Mad Dog to get on the Metalfish with them so that they can reunite with the rest of Team Rachel, which irritates him.

Turning back to Bam, the Mad Dog says to Jue Viole Grace that it's a shame their fight has been cut short, and hopes that they will meet again on the Hell Train to continue where they left off. The jousting stick user grabs hold of the Metalfish, and leaves off saying to Bam that he's looking forward to their rematch. The Metalfish with the remains of Team Rachel head towards the navigator flying towards the Hell Train. Bam spots Rachel aboard the navigator, and chooses to put all the Thorn's power in his feet to perform his next move. Khun watches from the ground with Ehwa and Wangnan in irritation seeing the navigator and Metalfish carrying the escaped Team Rachel towards the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_206.jpg
Repeating a past event, Rachel pushes Bam away so that her team can retreat

However, Khun and company are shocked to see Bam jumping up, and instantly appearing in the air before Rachel on the navigator. Rachel is left shocked seeing Bam before her in the air, which surprises Daniel and Poro as well seeing the Slayer Candidate managing to jump to such a height to catch up to them. They watch as Bam's about to perform a massive shinsu punch on them and admit that this guy is definitely a crazy one.

However, Bam's efforts are stalled when Rachel puts our her arms defenseless ready to accept Bam's punch. She asks for Bam not to do it, and reminds him that no matter what, she needs to get on the Hell Train. She warns Bam that if he chooses to stop her here, then he better kill her right now. Stunned by the statement, Bam calms his fist of shinsu down, which surprises Daniel as well.

Bam looks at Rachel in confusion, and begins to ask why she would go so far to do this. She then moves to push Bam away from the navigator to fall towards the Hell Train platform; a similar event to what happened between them on the 2nd Floor. Rachel apologizes to Bam, and says that the place she's going to is not a place for him to come up to. In return, Bam looks back at Rachel lost in confusion as to why he's not allowed to go with her. From the platform, Khun watches in disbelief as Bam falls toward him.

Meanwhile at the Hell Train side-entrance, Yura is seen having put her hand through the blackness of the gate, and realizes that she can feel an empty space behind it. She's left wondering if it's truly safe to go beyond it, but she's suddenly greeted by Team Rachel flying towards her on the navigator and Angel's Metalfish.

    Khun's Last Second Plan

Team Rachel rejoin Yura outside the side-entrance of the Hell Train

Yura greets the team in return stating that she's been waiting to see Rachel, which Daniel yells to her that they will be entering the gate now. He explains to Yura that once the gate closes, there's no telling where the next Hell Train side-entrance gate is going to open up. A moment later, they all begin to enter the Hell Train side-entrance.

Back to the Hell Train platform, Khun yells out to the falling Bam to get a grip before he crashes to the ground. Wangnan and Ehwa reunite with Khun in order to find out what happened to Viole as the falling Bam is seen continuing to look in Rachel's direction continuously asking himself why this happened. He then falls completely unconscious.

Beginning to regain consciousness, Bam hears the voice of someone calling to him and wakes up. It's now in the past, as Bam is seen waking up in front of Rachel back in his starting cave prison outside the Tower.

Bam asks Rachel when it was that she got here, which Rachel answers that she just did, but noticed that Bam was having a nightmare. She explains that Bam looked like someone who wasn't feeling well while sleeping, which causes Bam to understand what's going on now, and informs her that there's nothing wrong with him. Seeing that Bam is ok, Rachel asks him to get up since the plan today is to go to the mountain in the west, and to visit the cliff where the three eyes looking down on them can be seen.

Bam asking Rachel if he will be able to go to the outside world someday

Bam agrees to go along with it, but informs Rachel that the mountain she's speaking of isn't actually a mountain. An annoyed Rachel asks what Bam is talking about since it's clear that she's never seen such a huge hill before, and states that given the size of said hill, it must mean that the world beyond where they are must be bigger than they think. Bam asks what Rachel means by there being a bigger world out there, which Rachel looks in the direction of the shining hole in the prison room above them, and says that what she's talking about is probably the world that's above them.

Wanting to know about the world beyond the light at the top of his prison room, Bam asks if only the people who are chosen are allowed to live up there. He figures that him being stuck in this cave means that he's not one of the chosen ones, and has concluded that he must have committed some big sin, and was left behind to remain stuck in this dark cave. Rachel is surprised by the answer, and asks for Bam to not be too cynical, but he reassures her that he's still fine with his current life, because she's here with him.

Giving off a smile, Bam explains that to him, Rachel is the light. A person who chooses to greet someone who wasn't one of the chosen people. He tells Rachel that to him, he's an angel, which shocks her. Bam asks if somehow he was able to go up through the prison hole to be with the chosen people, he would be able to make friends with other angels like her, which leaves Bam silent. However, Bam gives off a smile, and figures that such a case would be impossible for him. Looking up at the hole at the top of the prison, Bam thinks to himself that while he doesn't think it's possible, he hopes that one day, he will be able to go past it to be with the other chosen people. A place up high where he would be able to be alongside Rachel.

Khun comes up with a plan involving his knife, Wangnan, and Ehwa

Returning to the present, the dream ends as Bam's eyes suddenly open up, and is still falling towards the Hell Train platform. Wangnan calls out to the falling Viole hoping his former Tangsooyook teammate is ok as Khun asks if he still has his Hell Train ticket. Wangnan answers that he does, which Khun then asks if the former is willing to trust him by putting his life on the line to get on the Hell Train. Wangnan remains confused by Khun's question as Khun calls out to Beta.

The Living Ignition Weapon understands what Khun is aiming for as Beta begins flying towards the falling Bam. Beta calls out Bam for his recklessness by trying to pull such a jump off without thinking over what would happen next since Bam is someone that's unable to fly without floating on shinsu.

Khun next turns his attention to Ran as the rest of Team Tangsooyook, Akraptor, Prince, and Miseng, are seen finally catching up to them. Ran asks Khun why things are so crazy the moment they've finally met again after so long, but his question is ignored as Khun asks if it's possible for Ran to get him as close as possible to the Hell Train. Going along with it, Ran answers that as long as he has the support of Khun's lighthouse, it should be a possibility.

Confirming that Ran can do it, Khun figures that while his next plan is a bit risky, it might be possible to pull his next plan off. Pulling out his special knife, Khun turns to Wangnan and Ehwa, and asks for the two Tangsooyook members to stop Team Rachel by any means necessary. Khun then begins to put his plan into action.

Cassano assures Traveller that he has an Express Ticket for him

As Team Rachel make their way into the Hell Train side-entrance, Cassano is seen holding the hostage guide, Hwaryun. Cassano asks what they're supposed to do with this guide if the plan is to just leave her here, but Angel informs him that while she would like to also do that, Hwaryun is currently more useful to have as a hostage given the people that are chasing after them. Behind Cassano, Traveller is worried that he won't be able to join them, but the Devil of the Right Arm assures the former that he has an Express Ticket ready for him, and doesn't have to worry about any of this.

Following the rest of Team Rachel through the Hell Train side-entrance, Cassano makes it clear to Traveller that their real journey begins here. However, Team Rachel is suddenly greeted by a two blue-head Regulars trying to stop team from entering the Hell Train.

Rachel and company turn their attention to the two newcomers, and see Khun and Ran being carried up towards them using the former's lighthouse field. Ran is seen having activated his lightning cloud as Khun calls out to Team Rachel asking if they really believe that he will allow them to do what they want after all that's happened.

Ran supports Khun by shooting the latter's knife towards Team Rachel

Rachel is left surprised to see that Khun is still trying to chase after her as Angel is left annoyed that the Khun member hasn't given up, but admits to herself that he's a good-looking boy. Cassano powers up his Horyang devil-arm to counter-attack, and orders for Khun not to disturb them. He then sends a Devil Arm blast toward Khun and Ran.

From the Hell Train platform, the rest of the Regulars watch as Khun and Ran take on the members of Team Rachel. The two of them manage to block Cassano's Devil Arm blast as Khun orders for Ran to do it. Khun pulls out his knife as Ran accepts the order, and uses the power of his electricity to throw Khun's knife as quickly as possible in the direction of Team Rachel. Angel attempts to deflect the knife, but the weapon goes by her before she could block it as it ends up flying across Rachel's cheek, and cuts the side of her face. The knife then passes by the rest of Team Rachel, and disappears into the black side-entrance of the Hell Train. Rachel gives one last look at Khun surprised that he managed to cut her as Khun leaves off saying to her that they will meet each other again at a higher place.

Khun and Ran sit back on the former's lighthouses, and watch as Team Rachel all disappear into the side-entrance of the Hell Train. The other Regulars that all chased after Team Rachel watch in shock knowing that the enemy team has escaped from them. Meanwhile, Beta manages to catch the falling Bam.

The Hell Train Departs Without Bam's Team

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_212.jpg
Poro informs the Hell Train captain that Yura and Team Rachel made it aboard

During their fall, Beta grabs hold of a cliff using his Dionysos ignition hand to stop the descent. Looking down at the unconscious Bam, Beta yells for the Complete One to wake up.

The platform stairs leading up to the Hell Train side-entrance begin to disappear, which Aka fears that this means they failed to stop Team Rachel. Next, the floating wheels of the Hell Train begin to act up as the group is forced to watch the express begin to turn away from Train City's Hell Train platform as it begins its journey up the Tower. Khun continues to look up at the departing train, and gives off a sigh in irritation stating that Rachel is someone who truly pisses him off.

After dropping Team Rachel off at the Hell Train side-entrance, Poro flies off on the navigator to return to his assigned spot on the Hell Train. He thinks back to his conversation he had with Daniel. That no matter what, he must make sure that Roen comes back to life. Poro points out that once Roen is finally back with them, they'll finally be able to leave this behind in order to return to continue climbing up the Tower once again. Daniel replies that he has his word that he will accomplish bringing back Roen.

Poro gets a call from the Hell Train captain to find out how the situation went, which Poro answers that Team Rachel have all made it aboard the Hell Train. He also informs the captain that the idol he wanted, Yura, has also made it on the train with them. Poro leaves off stating that the Hell Train has departed Train City without any trouble, which the captain replies back that Poro did good work. He orders Poro to return to work, which Poro accepts. Poro then looks back at the Hell Train side-entrance and hopes that no matter what, Daniel will bring Roen back to life.

Daniel explains how the Hell Train's Revolution Road changed the Tower

Within the Hell Train, a door is seen opening Rachel and company walk through it to enter a massive gray room. The group looks around in surprise that this is the interior of the Hell Train as they spot an entrance before them with a glowing white path shining towards it. Yura asks if the path before them is known as the Sparkling Road, which Daniel answers that it's known as the Road of Revolution.

The idol asks what he means by that, which Daniel explains that the road exists at every entrance of the Hell Train. He continues the explanation by stating that the road has history as it was originally used by Jahad and the Ten Great Families. That everything for the original climbers changed once they walked down this Hell Train road.

Daniel states that this road is responsible for the division and unity that was created between the Tower's Ten Great Families. Known as Revolution Road, this Hell Train path led to the history of the Tower being changed forever.

Back to the Hell Train platform, Bam's company watches the final moments of the express leaving before it disappears from the area completely. Akraptor asks if the Hell Train is heading for the next Tower Floor, which Boro answers that it is, and that because Team Rachel has made it aboard the Hell Train, they were automatically given the qualification to pass the Tower's 35th Floor up to the 36th Floor. Boro also explains that instead of taking the normal Floor tests, they will be taking special tests within the Hell Train as a substitute in order to continue climbing towards the Hell Train's final 43rd Floor.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_214.jpg
Beta informs the group that Bam's unconscious due to overuse of the Thorn

Nearby, Prince sits down in frustration at the fact that they failed to stop Cassano since it means that the Lord Devil, Horyang, will still be stuck in his coma. Miseng tries to cheer him up, as Boro states to everyone that at this point, they've pretty much failed. He explains that even if they climbed up the Tower the normal way to reach a higher Hell Train Floor station, it will be impossible to catch up to them in time before it departs again. At this point, Khun and Ran return to the rest of the group as the former asks about how Bam is doing.

Nearby, Beta rejoins with the group as well carrying Bam in his arms. He complains to Khun that he's stuck doing chores instead of the promise that he would be able to reach Cassano at the Hell Train. Khun is shocked to see Bam completely unconscious, which Beta informs him that the Complete One isn't going to be able to wake up for awhile.

Meanwhile, back at the Stadium, the fake tourmament is seen to have continued throughout Bam and company's chase after Team Rachel. The announcer bot is heard explaining that they will now begin the final match between Team Royal and Team Bero as the two teams stand opposite one another on the arena about to begin their match. Juglom Gote of Team Royal finds this result to be disappointing since the stronger teams of the tournament have withdrawn, and the mysterious Team X that's supposed to be the final opponent didn't even bother to show up. He claims that their final opponent being this fatty known as Bero is a complete joke, which an irritated Bero replies that she's just as disappointed having to go up against a skinny douchebag. The announcer bot asks for the match to begin as Team Royal and Team Bero charge at one another.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_215.jpg
Blarode and Quaetro having been stationed at the tournament alongside Rak

From the Stadium sideline, Rak watches the match in irritation as he sits alongside Hanool and a resting Hana. Rak complains that he doesn't like the fact that he's been forced to wait this out after the blue turtle showed up to learn about what's going on. Next to him, Blarode and Quaetro are revealed to have also arrived at Train City tasked to stand by at the fake tournament.

Blarode asks why Rak hasn't decided to participate in the tournament if he's so bored, which confuses the alligator. Rak asks why Blarode is sticking around here bothering him, which Blarode replies that the alligators words are hurtful to him considering that he and Quaetro helped Khun and Team Tangsooyook climb the Tower up to the 35th Floor at such a fast pace of just one year.

Blarode asks if Rak truly believes that Khun and Tangsooyook would have been able to make it here without his and Quaetro's help, which annoys Rak, and admits that he doesn't know what the two of them are planning. Rak states in disappointment that he would like to fight Blarode, but has chosen to let it go for now since there's more important turtles to worry about at the moment. They hear in the background the announcer bot informing the spectators that Team Royal has taken the lead against Team Bero 1-0.

Blarode replies to Rak's statement that he's surprised that even the wild alligator has a bit of self-control these days. He also informs Rak that he's hoping that things will work out for Bam and company, because depending on how the chase after Team Rachel went will decide if he should keep following this group or not.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_216.jpg
Bam's company regroups after the Hell Train had departed with Team Rachel

Back to the Hell Train platform, Khun continues to look down at the unconscious Bam. Akraptor is the first to speak asking what they should do now since they failed to stop Team Rachel from reaching the Hell Train, and it might be too late now to continue the chase. Khun remains silent about what to do, but he's suddenly greeted by Aka, who says to the newbies that this must be them experiencing failure. Khun asks who he's talking to, which the giant introduces himself as Aka Williams; a D-rank Regular that has boarded the Hell Train several times. Aka asks if Khun is someone who's also connected to Bam and company, which Khun admits to be the case.

Aka thinks things over, and admits that seeing Daniel alive after all this time came as a shock to him. Boro and Aka figure that Team Rachel getting on the Hell Train having FUG as their backers means that said terrorist organization is planning something big. Khun turns his attention to Boro wondering if he's grouped with Aka, which Boro answers that he actually part of Bam's Hell Train team that was established for the fake tournament. Boro deduces that the blonde girl earlier must have been the Rachel chick that Bam always talked about, and admits that she was some girl having witnessed some of her antics. Seeing that there's a past story going on here, Khun asks how Boro and Aka are connected to Team Rachel's Daniel. Aka answers that Daniel was an old comrade that he and Boro teamed up on a previous Hell Train run one time in the past.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_217.jpg
Boro explains that they can catch up to the Hell Train at higher Tower Floor stations

The giant also explains that some time after their Hell Train run, they lost contact with Daniel after hearing that he died a couple hundred years ago. Khun asks if Aka is implying that Daniel is a dead guy that came back to life, and is now cooperating with FUG, which Aka answers to be the case.

While Khun finds the story hard to believe, he asks what Aka and Boro plan to do from now on, which Aka answers that he doesn't know yet since the current plan was to try to stop Team Rachel from reaching the Hell Train, which didn't work out. Thinking it over, Aka figures that their best option would be to catch up to the Hell Train, and board it by any means necessary. Ran asks how that will be possible since the Train is already heading up to the next Floor of the tower, which Boro answers that there's definitely a way.

Boro explains that there's other train stations apart from the one at Train City that the Hell Train stops at on other higher Floors of the Tower as it journeys to the final 43rd Floor. The problem however comes down to the fact that they need to pass the normal Floor tests first in order to ascend to the next Floor, and doing so will cost them time trying to catch up to the Hell Train at the next Floor station. Having heard the explanation, Khun announces that catching up to the Hell Train should come later, and that the first thing they should do is wrap up the loose ends at Train City first.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_218.jpg
Wangnan and Ehwa make it into the Hell Train using Khun's White Heavenly Mirror

Khun states that the first thing they should do is return to the Stadium floor, but Boro notices that the group suddenly seems a bit smaller. He asks where the flame-girl and yellow-head from the Tangsooyook group went, which Khun answers that he threw them into the Hell Train earlier, which shocks Boro. He asks Khun if it had something to do with the combination attack he did with Ran earlier, which Khun answers to be the case.

Boro asks if Khun had some plan behind the knife throw other than just trying to hit Team Rachel, which Khun answers that he's not one who chooses to do frantic last-ditch attacks since they're not practical enough to be a true tactic. Looking down at the unconscious Bam, Khun states that he only pursues interests that have practical use. Khun states once more to the group that they should head back for now, which everyone chooses to agree with.

Going over the plan in his head, Khun confirms that the knife he used for the plan was the White Heavenly Mirror. He goes over how one of the abilities is to stab someone in the heart with it, which seals the person into the knife.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc41_219_4.jpg
Bam and company begin their journey to catch up to the Hell Train

However, Khun also goes over another ability it has that when the distance between him and the White Heavenly Mirror reaches a certain point, the seal will break, and the people sealed within the mirror will release. Khun leaves off saying in his head that this is the unexpected dagger that has been prepared for Rachel.

Within the Hell Train, Team Rachel walks along the Revolution Road towards the next room as Daniel is heard warning them not to let their guard down since their Hell Train journey is just beginning. On the ceiling of the Hell Train room however, the White Heavenly Mirror is seen stabbed into it with the faces of Wangnan and Ehwa currently sealed within the knife.

As Bam's company begins to walk back to Train City to return to the Stadium level, Beta continues to hold the unconscious Bam. However, in his sleep, Bam hears a voice continuously calling him boy.

Bam deduces that he can hear someone calling out to him, and asks who the voice is. The voice answers that he's known as the power, a power that can bring him to even stronger and greater heights.
