Sekai is given an audience with the King and Alicia. Frustrated that his victory didn't accomplish anything, Sekai freezes time and looks up Alicia's skirt again before unfreezing time. The King declares that for Sekai's victory over the sand worm, he is found innocent of murdering the traveler, Joma, especially since some witnesses came forward and explained Joma was really killed by goblins. The King asks Sekai what he wants and he says he just wants to slay dangerous monsters. Pleased, the King says in his name, Woz II Belltree, King of Belltree, he gives Sekai the title National/Salvation Brave. For his first mission, there is a cave in the north full of monsters that kill anyone who enters it. Sekai must subjugate it. Alicia wishes him luck. He is again struck by her beauty and looks up her skirt again before leaving the castle.
Sekai runs into Niña, who thanks him for asking the King to pardon her, meaning the authorities leave her alone even though she escaped prison. She asks to travel with him, but he refuses. She picks his pocket for his video game controller, scaring him. Not knowing what it is, she plays around with it and pushes the buttons, but nothing happens, even when she hits Pause. He convinces her to give it back and she apologizes, but he still refuses to let her travel with him. As he walks away, he thinks he's lucky to learn the controller only works for him.
He freezes time and enters the cave, killing every monster in his path. He notices several opened treasure chests. Niña is eating in a restaurant and grumbling about Sekai rejecting her when he suddenly appears, shocking her. He asks if she is good at lock picking. When she confirms this, the next thing she knows, they are deep inside the cave. Shocked, she asks if they teleported, but he muses that he froze time and carried her all the way here, which took about two days. She grumbles that she wasn't finished eating, but he takes her to a massive door blocking the tunnel and says he couldn't get past it and assumes an earlier adventurer took the key from one of the treasure chests. He asks her to pick the lock. It takes about half an hour for her to do so, and he grumbles that he couldn't freeze time while she was working. The timer has roughly 32 hours left.
When she succeeds, he freezes time, saying he doesn't want to risk her. He enters and finds a knight in armor, a cleric, and a female mage battling a huge stone golem. The knight is injured and the mage is blasting the golem with fire to little effect. After peeking up the mage's skirt and looking down her panties, Sekai attacks the golem with his sword to little effect, musing that he already returned Iron Slayer to its original owner, but even if he still had it, it wouldn't make much difference as swords are not meant to cut stone. He checks his stats and finds he is Level 6 but has 0 MP, meaning he can't use magic to solve this. He leaves and comes back with ladders, a hammer, and chisel and slowly chips away at the golem, finding the time to install a water well in the cave to refresh himself. For kicks, he adds breasts to the golem, but eventually reaches a gem inside the golem and pulls it out.
Sekai unfreezes time. The cleric and mage beg the knight, the Prince of Belltree, to escape, but he says he is only Woz II's illegitimate son and unimportant. Sekai gets their attention and says he defeated the golem. The gem he pulled out is a Keystone that animates it. Without it, it cannot move. They and Niña are amazed that he defeated the golem in an instant. Annoyed that the timer is still counting down, he freezes time, looks up the mage's skirt, and pulls down her panties, ranting that it took him two months.
Sekai unfreezes time and they thank him for saving their lives. The cleric heals the knight and is thankful because there are no spells to revive the dead, shocking Sekai since Revival is a standard cleric spell in the games he is familiar with. He gets suspicious about what animated the golem and freezes time. He examines the cave and finds a concealed door. He enters a room and finds an extremely beautiful dark elf in revealing clothing. Entranced, he strips and gropes her, then returns her clothes and ties her hands behind her back. When he unfreezes time, she is shocked to find him standing in front of her and herself tied up, but angrily starts chanting a spell. He quickly freezes time again, then leaves and comes back with a ball gag, surprised to learn the city sells them. He sticks it in her mouth and unfreezes time, shocking her again. Niña enters and is amazed to see the dark elf, saying they are a rare and long-lived race and this is the first time she has seen one.
The pair lead the dark elf out on a rope leash and the mage confirms she created the golem. Sekai asks the group to take Niña to the city while he delivers the dark elf to the King. Niña complains, wanting to go with him, but he says it would take too long if they traveled together. The knight introduces himself as Will Belltree and Sekai gives his name in return. Niña notices the dark elf is trying to say something, so Sekai says he will ungag her as long as she doesn't try any spells. Once the gag is out, she complains about him undressing her and calls him a pervert, shocking him. Niña calls him the worst.
- Bound and Gagged: Sekai defeats the dark elf by doing this to her while time is frozen, with the gag stopping her from chanting spells.
- Death of a Thousand Cuts: Sekai defeats the golem by slowly chipping away at it with a hammer and chisel until he reaches its Keystone.
- Loyal Phlebotinum: Sekai learns his controller only works for him when Niña gets it but can't make it work.
