Recap / Time Stop Brave Ch 27 Imposter and Stop

Go To

Miria takes the villagers to an old, abandoned village on an isolated part of the island and says they can stay there. Sayuki asks how she can thank them and Miria says there is no need. The island is open to immigrants; even a darkling can become a citizen. Sayuki has never heard of the darklings. Miria says it is complicated, but she is sure Sekai will protect them. Annoyed, Sekai freezes time to strip and grope Miria and Sayuki, ranting that they have no idea how hard he has to work to do anything; making that elevator was hard. He then wonders how Sayuki fits into this since she is supposedly from another game.

After he puts their clothes back and unfreezes time, his group of himself, Niña, Fury, Ranga, and Leafa has dinner. Niña reports that King Nazar claimed he retrieved the sacred treasure. Sekai asks how is that possible. Fury asks what does it matter because the mirror he retrieved is fake. They tell Leafa what happened and she is appalled that he broke the real mirror. He says the king must be lying because it takes more than a day to reach the mirror, so there is no way the king's guards could reach it and be back in an afternoon. Leafa says it is likely that the king is lying and only pretended to search for the treasure. Fury says she detected no magic in the first mirror, so that mirror was likely a fake all along. The king likely has his own fake mirror that he will present in the ceremony to crown the island's next ruler. It is also possible that the king had the real mirror all along.

Sekai says all they have to do is win the Voh'ley tournament and the island will be safe. Leafa asks if he even thought that through. She asks Ranga if she wants to rule OffshoreRope for the rest of her life and Ranga says no, she wants to eventually go back to Mount Godfall. Leafa says she also does not want to stay on this island for the rest of her life. Annoyed, he freezes time to strip and grope Leafa. He goes to the library to check the laws and learns amendments related to the transfer of sovereignty take five years to go into effect. He angrily strips the librarian. After he puts their clothes back and unfreezes time, they go to sleep. The tournament starts the day after tomorrow. He gets an idea.

The next day, he goes to the village and finds that many of them are in swimsuits, marveling that they adapted quickly. He asks around for Sayuki's house and is directed to it. He finds Mikage in a bikini but still wearing her ninja mask. He teases her, and she immediately uses the Ninja Log and Flash Step to get behind him and hold her sword to his throat, saying he may have saved them, but she hates him. He freezes time to strip and grope her, calling her a bad girl. After unfreezing time, he goes inside and finds Sayuki in a bikini. She says she is grateful for all their help, but she is embarrassed to have to dress like this. He says all she has to do is amend the law so she can wear regular clothes again. She asks how she could amend the law when she is an outsider, and he says she can become the ruler if she wins the Voh'ley tournament.

Sayuki has never heard of Voh'ley, so he takes her to the field where Ranga and Niña practice against another team. He explains the rules and reiterates that whoever wins the tournament tomorrow will rule the island. She nervously says she can't play because she is nonathletic and would be too embarrassed to perform in a swimsuit in front of a crowd. He says he has a Plan B and asks her to summon Mikage. She claps her hands and Mikage, who was hiding under the sand with a Reed Snorkel, appears. He asks her to remove her mask and she is offended until Sayuki orders her to do it. He compares their faces and says just as he thought, they almost look like twins. Mikage says she was assigned to be Sayuki's body double when the situation called for it. Sekai's plan is for Mikage to enter the tournament pretending to be Sayuki and win it so Sayuki can become the island's ruler. Niña says that makes sense since Sayuki and her people are staying on the island anyway. Fury comments that is cheating, but she can't think of anything else.

Sayuki says she still doesn't know what is going on, so he takes her aside and explains everything. She is amazed that he is taking on the Forces of Darkness. He says to save this island, he needs her and Mikage's help. She agrees, then says normally, someone taking on such powerful enemies would be considered a fool, but he has succeeded. He says that's what being a Brave is all about.

Ranga and Mikage practice together and are talented. Sekai compliments Mikage and calls her Princess. She says she is not the Princess, and he scolds her for forgetting she is supposed to be imitating Sayuki. She angrily says she would have killed him by now if he did not have Sayuki's favor. He guesses she still has a grudge from when he stripped her the first time. Some people watching them play say they are good and could possibly defeat the Gagankel sisters.

The next day, everyone gathers around the field. King Nazar says it is time for the Voh'ley tournament to begin. The team of Ranga Lang and Mikage (pretending to be Sayuki Takegawa) is up first.
