Samson doesn't like fireworks and definitely won't be attending the Earl's firework display. But when he gets lost after fleeing from a fog warning that he mistakes for a firework on the tracks, his brake van Bradford realizes that they can use the whizzes, bangs, and flashes of the real firework display to guide them safely back to Ulfstead Castle.
