The engines discover that the turntable of Tidmouth Sheds is frozen stuck, and they have to sleep in other places for the night. Gordon wanted to sleep in the turntable berth, but Thomas insists that it should be saved for Percy after his mail run. However, the big blue engine decides to sleep on the berth anyways, but this lead to some problems for him.

- The Prima Donna: Gordon turns down each and every other shed due to some nitpick that will keep him awake (the Rescue Centre will wake him up if there's an emergency alarm, the Steamworks remind him of breaking down, and the Dieselworks are too oily).
- Rule of Three: Gordon rejects the Search and Rescue Centre because it would be too noisy if the alarm goes off, the Steamworks because it makes him think of breaking down, and the Dieselworks because he doesn’t like the oil and smell of their fuel.
