• Call-Back: Agent Bennett says that Dr. Selig has gone into deeper protection because of Zeta and Ro's mishap at the CryoLab.
• Cassandra Truth: When Bennett interrogates Zeta on why he went rogue, Zeta tells him to ask Dr. Selig himself. Bennett responds that he can't, because he doesn't have the clearance to do so.
• Continuity Nod: The people that Zeta turns into while plugged into the machine are Terry's teacher from "Zeta", the person in towels from the train episode, Agent West, and so on.
• The Reveal: Zeta has an internal circuit that wasn't in his original schematics, implied to have been placed there by Dr. Selig.
• Shut Up, Hannibal!: Agent Bennett speaks to Ro through the PA system saying that Zeta is a dangerous robot that needs to be stopped and that she doesn’t know any better. She angrily responds that he’s the one who doesn’t know crap about anything, that he doesn’t understand Zeta like she does. After all, Ro was the one who got to know Zeta on an emotional level and actually listened to his problems.
