Chase Scene: Dame Barbara chases Peewit for unintentionally bumping into her. Again, during the end of the episode where she chases Peewit out of the castle for making fun of her as a mouse earlier.
Early-Installment Weirdness: The human baby's magical powers in this episode would later serve as the inspiration for Baby Smurf in later seasons.
Fairy Godmother: One appears and, in a rather extreme variation of the theme, she's the actual godmother of a young child, and also a Mama Bear who is willing to hunt down and use violence against anyone who tries to harm or kidnap her godson, turning people into mice if they won't cooperate in her quest to do so.
Forced Transformation: The fairy godmother would force to turn anyone into mice if they harmed or kidnapped her godson. At one point, she turned Dame Barbara into a mouse.
Know-Nothing Know-It-All: Dame Barbara tries to demonstrate the "proper" way to hold a baby, like holding a breadstick (causing the baby to bawl in tears).
Out of Focus: Dame Barbara is an underused character here and is only included for the plot.
