While trying to steal a weapon called "The Apocalipstick," Mojo Jojo is confronted by the Fashionistas, who have the same goal in mind. Mojo and Bianca's sidekick Barbarus suddenly fall in love with each other. Meanwhile, Blossom has issues of her own. When an attack operation fails, she runs off into seclusion and drowns her sorrows at a bar (she's drinking milk).
This episode contains examples of:
- Author Filibuster / Stock Aesop: From the bartender who has a heart-to-heart with Blossom: "Perfection ain't success. Resilience is." (He was a kid's party clown who made balloon sculptures and ran off into seclusion himself after one of his balloon sculptures burst. To prove his Aesop, he makes a balloon sculpture of Blossom.)
- Call-Back: Blossom's failure and her running away calls back to original series episode "Not So Awesome Blossom."
- Cannot Spit It Out: When Blossom's operation fails, she can't bring herself to say the word "fail." When she does, she frantically starts brushing her tongue with her hands, saying "Get it off! Get it off!"
- Romance Arc: The Mojo-Barbarus romance carries over into the next episode, "Bridezilla," where they have a wedding.
- Wingding Eyes: When Mojo and Barbarus connect, their eye pupils turn into hearts.
