Gas Station Vacation

Original air date: 10/29/2021

The Star family go to a gas station, which they mistake for a resort. The gas station's manager gets annoyed by their stupidity and tries to kick them out.

Gas Station Vacation contains examples of:

  • Comically Missing the Point: At the end of the episode, Cecil realizes the car is out of gas, so the family has to push it home. This is despite them being right next to the gas station.
  • Not This One, That One: Cecil says that they saw the resort on TV. We then see a commercial of Rube at a tropical resort, and it's sponsored by a gas station. The family then pull up to the gas station, believing it's the actual resort.
  • Rhyming Title: "Station" and "vacation" rhyme.
  • Running Gag: The manager saying "That's our policy!" whenever he scolds the Stars for doing something not allowed.

Bunny the Barbarian

Original air date: 11/5/2021

When the Stars are preparing for movie night, Bunny goes off in search of adventure and ends up in a barbarian land, where she must defeat the evil Dust Demon before she can come back home. Meanwhile, Patrick holds off the rest of the family as they get impatient.

Bunny the Barbarian contains examples of:

  • Alliterative Title: Bunny the Barbarian.
  • A Day in the Limelight: The episode mainly focuses on Bunny.
  • Department of Redundancy Department: When Bunny sees a temple in the distance, she says "Ooh, that's an attractive attraction that I'm attracted to!"
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Pat the Hapless makes his first appearance, failing to answer the gatekeeper's question and getting dropped in a pit of fire. Later episodes like "FitzPatrick" and "The Patrick Show Sells Out" give him more to do.
  • Noodle Incident: Bunny turns down going to Paris in the 1800s because she's already been there.
  • Poke the Poodle: The Dust Demon enrages Bunny by doing traditional disobedient kid things, like drinking milk straight out of the carton or leaving muddy footprints on the carpet.
