While Flash is spending a peaceful day with his family, the fifth and final hybrid appears. Flash quickly deals with it and brings it back to base, right as they are finally ready to remove the human DNA from all the hybrids. But Tirek puts his plan to reclaim the hybrids into action, and nobody will even know he has them, because they'll think they're all dead.
- The Bad Guy Wins: The chapter ends with Tirek finally in possession of all five hybrids.
- Faking the Dead: Tirek fakes the hybrids deaths by teleporting them out as the base explodes and teleporting in hunks of meat shaped like them, giving the impression they were all killed in the explosion so Flash and his friends wouldn't look for them.
- Halfway Plot Switch: The chapter begins with Flash confronting the final hybrid, revealed to be a Diamond Dog. However, he captures it pretty easily and takes it back to Plumber Base right as they are preparing to remove the human DNA from all the hybrids and send them to Equestria. But when Tirek sabotages the attempt, the rest of the chapter is spent with everyone grieving over the apparent death of the hybrids.
- Shout-Out: When Flash goes to confront the last hybrid, his mother tells for him to be careful and he responds "Hey, this is me we're talking about here." with a smirk.
- Some One To Remember Him By: A variation occurs when Flash decides to honor the seemingly dead hybrids with his alien forms of them.
- Wham Episode: The fifth hybrid is revealed, and Tirek successfully steals back all the hybrids.
