Robert California is divorcing his wife and intends to sell his mansion. Upon Kevin's suggestion, he throws a party as a last hurrah and invites everybody. Andy wants to propose to Jessica, but his engagement ring ends up missing. Meanwhile, Erin is trying to make Andy jealous, Gabe and Ryan compete for Robert California's attention, and Jim repeatedly tries and fails to leave early.

- Appearance Angst: Darryl is initially unwilling to join Val in the pool because he hasn't burned off his fat yet. However, Kevin averting this trope and having fun with Val causes Darryl to shed this by the end.
- Operation: Jealousy: Erin acts like she and Dwight are a couple to make Andy jealous. It doesn't work.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Jim spends most of the episode trying to find a way to graciously leave the party early, to no success. When Robert starts Skinny Dipping, he takes this as his opportunity and bolts out, running over part of Robert's lawn in his haste.
- Skinny Dipping: Robert, Ryan, and Gabe do this at the end of the episode. Some of their coworkers find it hilarious, most are disgusted and evacuate the pool.
- Sure, Let's Go with That: Toby picks a high quality wine from Robert's cabinet by complete accident, earning the respect of Oscar for his great taste in wine. Not wanting to admit the truth, Toby plays along and is trapped in wine talk.
- Viking Funeral: Played for Laughs as Andy's engagement ring is "disposed of" in this manner via a paper boat in the pool.
