Review of: Blade II

  • Broken Pedestal: Malcolm goes from praising everything del Toro does to trying to beat him up after he hears the "do you blush?" line.
  • Gun Porn: During the Info Dump on the new weapons Blade and the Blood Pack get to hunt the Reapers, NC treats it like it's very... adult.
  • It Will Never Catch On: One of the running gags is how Norman Reedus becomes a sex symbol after this movie.
  • Product Placement: One thing NC gets distracted by in the movie is that the only thing on TV throughout the movie is The Powerpuff Girls (1998).
  • Running Gag: Rob Guillermo keeps proposing new ideas which his fans cheer for, throws away in seconds and then his fans say it was for the best he didn't do it. It gets to a point NC can set his watch to it.
  • Running Gagged: In Blade's intro, after making a joke about also calling him "The Tax Dodger," NC crumples up a "Tax Joke" paper and throws it away, saying that he got that out of the way.
  • Series Continuity Error: NC points out how Whistler shouldn't be alive in this film considering he killed himself in the last one.
  • Tempting Fate: NC calls the Reapers' design as boring since they're bald vampires... then they unhinge their mouths, which he calls "Jesus surfing on a dinosaur" awesome.
