Tristan's cousin Shaw turns up at the end of year party, and Shay cannot be bothered to deal with the Cheer Squad.

- Phoney Call: The Trishas do Type B of this trope by pretending that they have managed to put a late Shay on their lines. Mackenzie doesn't fall for it.
- Rage Quit: Shay quits the Cheer Squad in a huff, exclaiming she's sick of all the work she has to do while also dealing with Brittnay's rampaging instigated by Mackenzie's selfishness.Shay: Have fun with the fucking Frankenstein's Monster you've created!
- Ship Sinking: Shay leaving the cheer squad for good fired torpedoes at the Shaykenzie ship.
- Undying Loyalty: Trisha refuses to vote Mackenzie out of the Cheer Squad, stating even if Brittnay is going to destroy the squad and everything they hold dear she won't abandon Mackenzie at her time of need. Mackenzie's so touched she practically starts crying.
