A Day in the Limelight: For Lisa and Leni.

Comically Missing the Point: When Lisa takes off in her rocket, Leni's reaction is to wonder how Lisa could nap with all the racket.

Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Lisa refuses to take her afternoon nap or have a snack at any point while she focuses on building her rocket. But this choice has her running on fumes later on, and this lack of energy leads to her forgetting things, making mistakes, and leaves her unable to concentrate on what she's doing. Lisa may be a Child Prodigy capable of scientific innovation and inventing technology at the same level as an adult, but she's still a five year old girl and can't physically function at the same level as an adult.

Lola tries to get Rita whipped into shape for a mother-daughter pageant.

Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: Rita is apparently this for Luna and Lincoln, having participated in their activities.
Bittersweet Ending: Lola doesn't win the mother-daughter pageant, but she does have fun with Rita in the process.
Chekhov's Gun: Rita mentions how she and Lola did a tap-dance routine for the latter's preschool talent show. That same routine ends up being used in the mother-daughter pageant... and just as Lola predicted, they don't win.
