Summary While exploring the area around the tree of life, and trying to meet the different animals, Beshte accidentally damages the homes of several animals, causing them to view him as a villian rather than a hero.


This episode contains examples of:

  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Overlaps with I Owe You My Life. Pinguino is the first of Beshte's accidental victims, is the one who gives him his moniker "Poa the Destroyer", and rallies the other Tree of Life inhabitants want him rid of. However, after the hippo saves him from a fall, he takes it all back and begins calling him "Poa the Lifesaver".
  • Continuity Nod: While exploring the area around the Tree of Life, Beshte continuously sings some of the lyrics from "Makin' Hippo Lanes", the song he sung back in "Beshte and the Hippo Lanes".

  • Does Not Know His Own Strength: Beshte's large size and strength unintentionally causes problems for the animals living the area.
  • Easily Forgiven: Beshte ultimately bears no ill will against Pinguino and the other animals for mistaking him as a bad guy.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Rani has this reaction when she figures out who "Poa the Destroyer" actually is.
  • "The Hero Sucks" Song: "Poa the Destroyer" is this, being sung by Pinguino, along with several other animals who develop an intense dislike for Beshte throughout the episode after the latter inadvertently destroyed his ice slide, as well as the homes of other animals.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Beshte has this reaction when he discovers that he's the one the others were calling "Poa the Destroyer", and has been causing accidental damage to the area.
  • Poor Communication Kills: The Lion Guard and Night Pride try to explain to the animals who "Poa the Destroyer" really is, but they refuse to listen until the end of the episode when Pinguino reveals that Beshte saved his life.
