- Book Ends: The episode begins and ends with Billy’s cat Milkshakes getting possessed by someone; first Grim as a demonstration, then Mandy to take revenge on Billy.
- Didn't Think This Through: Billy really shouldn't have possessed Mandy as even he knows it's a death wish.
- Exorcist Head: Mandy does this in front of Billy when she’s possessing Milkshakes.

- Rewatch Bonus: At the end of the episode, if you look closely at Milkshakes while she’s sleeping on Billy’s bed, you can see that the tips of her ears are slightly curved inward, resembling Mandy’s hair. This is subtle Five-Second Foreshadowing that she’s been possessed by Mandy.
- Shadow Discretion Shot: Cat-Mandy mauling Billy at the end of the episode is briefly seen with silhouettes of the two through Billy's bedroom window.
- Small Role, Big Impact: Grim only appears at the beginning and midway point, but it's thanks to him the plot rolled by giving Billy the idea.
