Go To

Learning that Bill is making money from looking after a hamster, Graeme starts a pet-sitting service run by the trio, taking special care with an undersized kitten,

  • Bolivian Army Ending: At the end, Bill notices that some of Graeme’s growth powder is missing, which they all attribute to mice. After an Oh, Crap! moment, giant mice appear, with the three rushing to restore the cat to giant size.
  • Celebrity Casualty: Newscaster Cameo Michael Aspel gets stepped on by the kitten. Downplayed, since he’s shown squirming underneath the paw, indicating his survival.
  • George Lucas Altered Version: The episode had most of its content remade for an international comedy festival, with the original cut no longer existing beyond some Stock Footage that was retained. Most notably, the kitten was Named by the Adaptation as “Twinkle”, while the giant mice were achieved through props bursting through the wall, instead of Chroma Key.
  • Improbable Age: Twinkle the kitten is stated to be 23 years old, which is the cause of the episode’s problem.
  • Lethal Chef: According to Bill, the last time Tim cooked dinner, they had a bowl of cornflakes. And they were burned.
  • Make My Monster Grow: the episode is set in motion by Graeme feeding the kitten a growth mixture to increase its growth. It works, all too well.
  • Monumental Damage: In its rampage, the kitten topples the Post Office Tower and knocks the dome off St. Paul’s.
  • Something We Forgot: Graeme becomes so obsessed with the kitten he leaves Tim stuck up a tree for four days.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Bill deciding to put the cat out at night is all well and good, but not when said cat is Kaiju-sized.
Graeme: We have to stop him before he steps on something he shouldn’t.
Bill: You mean someONE he shouldn’t.
Graeme: I know what I mean.
