The trial against Maia goes on, with the DOJ bringing in Amy and Lenore to testify against her, as well as Diane. The best Maia can do seems to be a plea-deal for one year, but she, Lucca, and Marissa take a third option and track down Henry's girlfriend through her sister, ultimately tricking Henry into revealing his location to the Feds, at which point they no longer care about Maia.
Lucca and Colin have a fight in court, in front of the same judge they had a fight in front of in the first season.

- Call-Back: Liz was hired after quitting the DOJ just as the firm is representing Maia Rindell who has been indicted by that very department. She says she knows how the other side thinks, which is what Boseman said about Diane when he hired her after she quit a firm that was defending a policeman whom Boseman's firm was suing at the time. Also, Luca and Colin are once again bickering in front of Judge Abernathy.
- Heel–Face Turn: Lenore made a deal with the DOJ to testify against her daughter in exchange for reducing her own sentence to time served, but after Diane speaks to her in prison she changes her mind and doesn't throw Maia under the bus after all. Instead, she plays dumb on the witness stand, despite knowing it will render her deal null and void.
