Shaun and Lea try to adjust to their new lives as roommates.
- Comically Missing the Point: Shaun takes a picture of the toilet papers in the hospital bathrooms and sends it to Lea, to convince her that he is right about the correct position of the toilet papers in the house. Lea sends an abbreviated message to Shaun that he cannot understand, and he suspects it is some code. Claire reads the message and tells him that Lea doesn't give a damn about the toilet paper discussion.
- Downer Ending: Morgan ends up making a mistake and the Patient of the Week loses her arm.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Morgan when she realizes she's made a mistake and that her patient will lose her arm.
- Pet the Dog: Melendez doesn't like Morgan, but comforts her after she feels guilty about the mistake she made with her patient.
- Take a Third Option: Lea resolves the argument at the end of the episode by placing two toilet papers in the bathroom, each placed in a different position.
