"Two Rode Together" is an episode in the fourth season of The Golden Girls.
Dorothy takes Sophia to Walt Disney World for "quality time," but Sophia wants to ride Space Mountain instead. Meanwhile, Rose and Blanche collaborate on a children's book.
Tropes:
- Idiosyncratic Episode Naming
- I'm Going to Disney World!: Dorothy and Sophia spend a weekend at Disney World. It rains most of the weekend, but on the last day, they ride Space Mountain. The interior of the ride is shown in the last scene just before the credits.
- It's Been Done: The children's book Rose and Blanche have been working on throughout the episode turns out to have already been published in St. Olaf, much to the immense disappointment of both girls once they find out the truth.
- Shout-Out:
- The title is a reference to the 1961 Western.
- When Sophia goes down to the hotel bar to get a drink she approaches the lounge piano player. Calling him "Sam," she tells him that he knows what she wants to hear and that "if you played it for her, you can play it for me."
