Rose's cousin Sven Lindstrom comes to Miami on the way to his wedding in St. Olaf. However, Blanche nearly ruins the plan when the naïve Sven falls in love with her.

- Cloudcuckooland: When Sven mentions not knowing much about women, Blanche says, "A big strong man like you? Get out of here!" He simply picks up his suitcase and leaves. - Take Our Word for It: The cake Rose unknowingly buys from an erotic bakery to celebrate Sven's arrival. The cake itself is never seen, but the ladies' reactions to the shape and size say it all:
