A Plot: Beverly loves Halloween, but becomes despondent after the kids won't celebrate the holiday with her because they want to do their own thing.
B Plot: Adam goes trick or treating with an older teenager named Evan Turner and a bunch of Evan's friends. That night, they play pranks on younger kids and vandalize every house on Adam's street, including Adam's house.

- My God, What Have I Done?: Erica told Beverly about the party so she'd embarrass Barry. but she regrets once she sees it happen.
- Shout-Out:
- The title, as well as Pops' costume (and later Adam's) are this to Ghostbusters.
- Barry's costume for the party is the Hulk, based on the 1977 series.
- Title Drop: When Pops first offers to go trick or treating with Adam, he misquotes Ghostbusters doing it.
