Tropes:

Eye Scream: Holden needs to insert a needle in his own eye to get some vitreous humour and determine why he's immune to the parasitic blindness. It works, but indirectly — the trace amount of his cancer meds there is what tips them to the solution.
Karmic Death: Happens to one of the RCE corporate soldiers who, after killing a random Belter by throwing him into water infested with toxic green slugs after he falsely accused him of killing one of his friends, gets killed by one of the same green slugs falling on him and killing him.
Kill It with Fire: Amos uses a flame thrower to burn several of the toxic green slugs to a crisp.
Resign in Protest: The episode features two of these in short order. First, a Marine General resigns his post under Avasarala, stating that he believes she put both his marines and civilians in danger to help her political career. Drummer also resigns her position under Fred Johnson, having grown increasingly frustrated with his insistence on cooperating with the Inners, and feeling that he is moving The Belt in the wrong direction, or at least away from doing good for the Belters.
Throwing Out the Script: Avasarala throws out the impersonal eulogy she wrote for the dead marines, and instead relates their deaths to the death of her son and takes responsibility for the failed mission.
